This was written to withdraw from those that are disorderly in regards to the falling away from the faith mentioned earlier in the second chapter which has to deal with the iniquity of seeking to receive the Holy Spirit separate from salvation wherein Paul reproved such iniquity by reminding them when they ha received the sanctification of the Spirit & the love of the truth at the hearing of the gospel in 2 Thessalonians 2:13-15.

2 Thessalonians 3:1
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:[SUP]2 [/SUP]And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.[SUP]3 [/SUP]But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.[SUP]4 [/SUP]And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.[SUP]5 [/SUP]And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.[SUP]6 [/SUP]Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.[SUP]7 [/SUP]For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;.............[SUP]14 [/SUP]And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.[SUP]15 [/SUP]Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

Titus 3:
[SUP]9 [/SUP]But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.[SUP]10 [/SUP]A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;[SUP]11 [/SUP]Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Matthew 10:
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Proverbs 9:[SUP]6 [/SUP]Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.[SUP]7 [/SUP]He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.

I certainly need the Lord's help to withdraw in His love.
