Self defense and protection

I gotta say I love sidney crosby. My Redwings might wanna just pack it up for the year.

I feel like you can defend and help without killing.

I grew up in Detroit and the Red Wings are still my team, along with the Pistons and Tigers. Oh yeah, the Lions too of course they are pathetic.

If someone broke into your home you should do everything possible to defend yourself and your family including the use of lethal force if necessary.

And this is whats wrong with the world. Fight with your body and brains instead of just shooting someone. I am in a position to use lethal force with my body most people are not.

The thing is for some people taking a life doesn't faze them that much for others their horrified at what they have done others still truly regret it later on in life.

I'm pretty sure soldiers of war can attest to how easy it is to say you'd take a life, but to actually follow through leads to repercussions of the soul. These things weigh on the heart, even leading people to PTSD. So yeah, people say self defense and protection is all fine and well, but to actually follow through with taking a life is no small feat. Surely it is costly.

We used to travel to St Louis to see them beat the Blues but they changed divisions a few years ago and now they only come to St Louis a couple times a year. Now i wanna go watch a Hockey game!

Well said Ben. We give our solders guns but very little tools to deal with the damage they do.

This seems odd to laugh at. I mean I am an outsider but I don't think its funny, I think its kinda cool he puts all his faith in god. Maybe i don't understand the context of what your saying.

I know some people feel that if someone doesn't respect the sanctity of life then why show them that respect? They don't value life, so if need be take theirs. I know this is some people's understanding, for example, of the death sentence but could be equally applicable in life and death situations.

I live on 50 acres in Mark Twain National forest about 75 miles from St. Louis......Cardinals and Blues......two main teams that I watch OCCASIONALLY
