I was meditating and pondering on how wonderful God is and how my mind can't wrap itself truly on the fullness of His wonder. It's too beyond comprehension.

After I prayed in Levi's thread for his baby whose cord is wrapped around it's neck I thought about how God forms a child in its mother's womb and how beyond understanding that really is.

David, in the Psalms talks about how God's knowledge is too wonderful. Psalm 139:1-6

O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
You understand my thought from afar.
You scrutinize my path and my lying down,
And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
Even before there is a word on my tongue,
Behold, O Lord, You know it all.
You have enclosed me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is too high, I cannot attain to it.

What is too wonderful as you ponder God and His ways which are sometimes mysterious? What has He done in your life that you want to say with David, "such knowledge is too wonderful for me".

Oh my goodness where to begin on this question? Ok i will begin with the most recent.

On Dec 1st i broke my hip at work. After i got up off the floor my immediate response was "thank you Lord because it could have been worse". I was immediately thanking God which is not normal. At the time it was more of a "reaction" response that i didnt think much of. Now that i am pretty much healed and ready to go back to work i understand it. (I should also mention i have bad rheumatoid and ostio arthritis which compounded the healing process). Because of my faith and trust in God i didnt become angry, bitter or depressed because of the injury. I can only account this to the Holy Spirit working in me.

The way God works in us when we trust and have faith in Him is beyond comprehension. I have had a lot of time to think upon this during my time off. All I could do is praise God thru this injury. It could have been a lot worse. It never ceases to amaze me how God works in and thru us. His protection and healing power is something we cannot fully comprehend.

What a Wonderful God we have!! His ways are so much higher than ours.

His abounding mercy is beyond loving and patient, for this I am thankful and amazed... and yet He judges rightly, with perfect righteousness, and the is no respect of persons, when I consider these both, I BEGIN to realize why Yah is the true Standard of Perfection concerning all righteousness. HalleluYAH!

Yeremyah 9:23-25, "This is what YHWH says: Let not the wise glory in their wisdom, let not the mighty glory in their power, let not the rich glory in their riches; But let those who glory, glorify in this--that he understands and knows Me, that I am YHWH Who exercises lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth; for in this I delight, says YHWH. Behold, the days come, says YHWH: that I will punish all those who are circumcised only physically, in their foreskins."

For we have not been consumed, For His compassions have not ended. They are new every morning, Great is Your trustworthiness. “ יהוה is my Portion,” says my being, “Therefore I wait for Him!”

Hi Sac,

So sorry to hear about your hip. :(

And as we all know, God uses the suffering we go through and makes His strength in us perfect through our weakness. I so understand what you're saying.

When I'm hurting the most is when God's awesomeness becomes more of a reality. I'm praising God with you that you're able to get back to work. What a blessing!!! God issssss too wonderful!!!

Hi Beyond,

If you're moving forward with God it means that you're still experiencing His wonderfulness. He is the one to be praised and adored because He is worthy of our worship.

Pressing forward reminds me of a scripture in Hebrews I read yesterday for one of my bible studies.

Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:1-3

Thanks for sharing the scriptures and the reminder that His righteousness as our standard is too wonderful to comprehend.

The fact that He has made us righteous with His righteousness is too much for us to even imagine. His lovingkindness and compassion fail not, great is His faithfulness towards us.

It is always a good feeling to discover one's sins are forgiven.

it's to wonderful for me to comprehend that Jesus formed us, 'flesh', from His Pure Spirit/Mind/Being,
and wants us to be a part of His 'familie'/// (we're in, both of us, for all that we are worth to Him)...

Amen Resurrection!

That goes so against our natural inclination to accept His forgiveness. We want to pay our way somehow.

Another great example of God being too wonderful!

Thanks oldthennew! Even when I consider that He created us from dirt its too much to fathom! We're created from dirt of all things. God is soooo amazing!

Ant to take it a step further as you said of the new birth. He gives His life to give us life as a part of Him. The symbology of eating His Body and drinking His blood is beyond understanding...... it's too fantastic!

He gave me a good deal on a beautiful car, and I drove it back 250 miles from the beach, with no issues. It was a good day :)

There were several instances when he was to wonderful for me, in my first 5 months of being saved as I lay on my bed he poured his love into me. It was only the tiniest drop of his love yet it was far more than I could handle my body simply could not take it the human flesh is not capable of bearing that deep and rich of a love.

another time he filled me with his holiness, I can't even begin to describe what his holiness feels like there just aren't words to describe it but holy cow was it powerful!

One thing I have been asking of him for a while now is to know and experience his glory and his majesty his power and his awesomeness, this is another part of him I want to come to know and understand and I can say this when he answers and he allows me to experience and know and understand his glory and his majesty even if it's only a small tiny taste I can promise you it is going to rock my world and shake my very core in a way words can never describe

Hi Wild,

What a blessing that is!

Buying a used car can cause great apprehension because you just don't always know what you're getting.

So good to hear it was a good day for you. Every day in the Lord is a good day even when it's a bad day. :)

Someone once told me that if you do what this verse says...

Malachi 3:10
"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it"

...that it will come true because God is allowing you to 'dare' him.
