I been reading The Book of Revelations lately and I notice that John uses alot of symbolism when describing events that will happen in the future of coming events. What really interest me is when John says that he saw a Red Dragon, is the devil really a Red Dragon or it just used as a symbol and he is really a demon. Also John described Locust from the bottom pit and for years I have heard that these are helicopters as the bible describes them having the faces of man and teeth of a lion and sounding like horses prepared for battle and stringers on the end. To me what I imagine those locust would be a man who has the body of a horse similar to a Centaur from Greek mythology with long black hair and the teeth of a lions with a snake on the end of his tail or a stinger.

[for me anyway] it is not John using anything, rather it is the Holy Spirit of Truth speaking through John these as illustrations; and each is explained what they are: it is good when we learn to not think above that which is written, so that we do not begin to exaggerate or over-estimate beyond that which is written.

Some reference of almost all of Revelation can be found in the OT that is why when studying the NT one needs a working knowledge of it. The writers of the NT content were grounded in the OT. The Holy Spirit brought their knowledge to mind
when they set about writing the gospels and letters revealing meanings that were hidden up to that time.

The book of Revelation calls satan a dragon in one verse.. linking the Dragon with the serpent of old with the devil with satan..

(Revelation 20:1-2 KJV)
"And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. {2} And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,"

The Locust type beings are i believe actual demons / fallen angels that are released out of the Pit and will torment mankind as part of the judgement of God upon earth.. The Book of Revelation says they have a king over them from the bottomless pit Abaddon..

(Revelation 9:6-11 KJV) "And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. {7} And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. {8} And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. {9} And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. {10} And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. {11} And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon."

So i do not believe these locusts are helicopters.. They are fallen angels released to bring terror upon the world..

Revelation 12:3
"And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads"

What if Horns represented Protons?

Ten Horns would then be the Chemical Element Neon.

Neon naturally glows Red...

I wonder if Satan can transform himself into an angel of light?

And what if Wikipedia said that Lucifer was really just the Chemical Element Phosphorus?

"...hence the name, taken from Greek mythology, meaning "light-bearer" (Latin Lucifer), referring to the "Morning Star", the planet Venus (or Mercury)"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phosphorus

And what if Phosphorus was Red like a Match?

I wonder if Lucifer walks among the Stones of Fire.

Base, is this from Chuck Missler too?

Revelations is said in the beginning of the book, to be the unveiling of Jesus. How could what you have posted unveil Jesus?

Its confusing to me.

Hey Stones of Fire!

The info I posted is from my own research and a movie that I've been working on for several years now.

The best way I've found to make sense of Revelation is too look at it as Human Anatomy and Biology.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it gives me great comfort actually.

The Throne of God is our Heart.

The Twenty Four Elders are the Twenty Four Ribs surrounding our Heart.

The Lightning and Thundering are our Heart beats and electricity.

It's all about who is going to sit on the Throne (our Hearts) and rule... Satan or Jesus.

One may also see this as the Body of Christ and we are it's Members. It just depends on your own preference.

The Tabernacle in the Wilderness is an Earthly model of what is in Heaven. God calls it a 'Shadow'.

You've seen my slides showing how it relates to Cell Biology.

The Tabernacle described in Revelation is the real one that is free from sin and is much more glorious.

I am of the opinion that God is showing us a bit of a 'sneak peak' at what our future DNA and Glorified Bodies will be like.

Here is the scary part...

What I see in Revelation is how Mankind will be punished for Genetically modifying their bodies.

This is happening now, as we speak btw. Hybrid Humans are being created all over the planet.

I believe this is the Mark of the Beast (Transhumanism).

I believe the Two Witnesses will testify on these matters and will be hated by the Hybrids.

I was just meditating today on this verse...

Revelation 16:15
"Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame"

Blessed are those that keep their Garments...aka... their original DNA.

The Human Race has finally arrived at this point at it terrifies me daily to think about it.

I also have been reading a book by Dr. David Jeramiah called Agents of Revelations which brings down the events of Revelations and has a made up story then it explains what the bible is saying. It's a good book as it pains a picture about what could happen during the Tribulation times.

I know the book of Daniel is similar to The Book of Revelations, you have the beast from the earth and sea that represent nations that will rise up against the USA.

Hello stonesoffire,

"The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. "

Actually, Revelation is the unveiling of the events that will take place during the tribulation period, which is in reference to God's wrath which will take place via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments.

Hello Art84,

Do not be deceived! The results of the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments, which are the wrath of God, will be the worst time in history that the earth has ever experienced. With just the 4th seal and the 6th trumpet alone, a fourth and a third, respectively, the fatalities will be approximately 50% of the earth's population with just those two and that is not including the fatalities that will result from trumpets 1,2 & 3 nor of the seven bowl judgments. I Continue to say that many do not understand the severity and magnitude of God's coming wrath. The end result will be the decimation of the majority of the population of the earth and the dismantling of all human government.

which brings down the events of Revelations

Whenever reading books by men regarding teachings on Biblical issues, if they don't match up to scripture, then it's false. That said, does "bringing down the events of Revelation" match what the word of God says below:

"
For at that time there will be great tribulation, unmatched from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again. If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened.

In the scripture above, Jesus says that that time of tribulation will be the worst that the world has ever seen. So much so that, if those days were allowed to go on any longer than that last 3 1/2 years, no one would be left alive on planet earth. Does that sound like the impact of those events will be diminished?

Thank you for explaining how you see it. I understand what you have laid out here much better than anything else I have seen with all your sometimes seemingly unrelated and random charts and graphics. I can definitely relate to some of the imagery here... "the throne of our heart." That is really quite poignant. When God is not ruling in that innermost place, there really is "no room at the inn."

The book pretty much is like The Left Behind books. You have the following chapters in the book: The Exile, The Martyrs, The 144,000, The Two Witness, The Dragon, The Beast From the Sea, The Beast From the Earth, The Victor, The King, and The Judge. Each chapter has a short story then you have Dr. David Jeramiah showing where the bible it talks about what will happen and using resources from other bible teachers to back it up, etc. Haven't read through it but will probably be warry of false teachers whose books don't match up with the word of God.

Sounds like Hollywood drama. He will come like a thief in the night just as in the time of Noah, everything going on under the Sun business as usual, .

Gen 6:5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Then will come sudden destruction and this present earth and heaven will vanish never to be remembered or ever come to mind for ever more..

The last days have begun. The tribulation that came about because of the reformation (no longer using the outward flesh of a Jew as a metphor marked the beginning, the veil is rent. The outward Jew remains , unbelief (no faith) .

The antichrists are here , as well as the two witnesses seeing what we had in part (the word of God) we now have the whole or perfect. .The law of Moses and the prophets(sola scriptura) the two witnesses , a perfect law of God that he uses to bring the gospel to our ears making our hearts soft .

Recommendations:
1. Try not reading the book with all that junk people already told you it means. Realize who John was, when he lived, what was going on to Christians at that time, and then, and most important -- what does God have to tell those people about how it all works out. (Hint: God wins.)

2. The book is called "Revelation." It is not "revelations." It is just one revelation from God. So, it's all connected.

3. Don't count on getting much clarity on this forum for Revelation. I haven't read the responses yet, but I know where this will go. Some will tell you we're before the tribulations, some will tell you after, some will tell you.... well, basically there are about seven camps on what Revelation means, and I can guarantee everyone from every camp will come along to tell you they know, for sure, they alone are right.

4. I've heard it said even a ten year old can understand Revelation. I admit it. I'm dumber than a ten year old. What helped me see how that book more applied to people who needed to hear it when they did hear it was a commentary on it. It's a classic commentary trusted for many decades. It's called "More Than Conquerors."
