1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." --Matthew 7:1-2
1 "Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters." --Romans 14:1
========================================================
Is it a sin to judge others for their Christian beliefs?
First example: I personally don't think it's a sin to have a glass of wine. Some denominations think it's sinful to have any alcohol. (I'm not talking about getting drunk--just a glass or two of wine or a beer.)
Second example: I worship on Sunday. Some denominations point to Saturday as being the Sabbath, and feel it's a sin not to set aside Saturday as the Sabbath.
Is it a sin for others to judge me as a sinner for having a glass of wine or going to Sunday church services? (No need to address the issue in this thread of whether I am sinning when I have a glass of wine or go to Sunday church services.)
