Your gospel is truncated. He nailed you on that. Belief is qualified, I showed you Scripture on that, but you won't abide in those teachings, you reject them in your easy-believe-ism. :)
You mean like His yoke is easy-believe-ism?

Here's your problem dcontroversal (actually several)

1) You're so blinded by anger that any agreement with the false teacher and you go off and manifest the works of the flesh. And he nailed you on your false truncated gospel.

2) You will have nothing to do with sound doctrine and proper exegesis and ridicule any passages given you and the one who gives them.

3) In your truncated gospel, you employ only part of the Scriptures that you like, and divorce any others that show evidence of conversion as and claim them as "works".

4) You conflate evidence of conversion with a works gospel.

5) You conflate prescriptive and descriptive passages. (You probable don't even know what that means or where they are)

6) You are very limited in your knowledge of the Gospel which is why you fly off the handle.

7) You don't even take time to read the Scriptures offered that are given to enhance your knowledge, instead you fly off the handle, assume, falsely accuse and call names. Really really callow on your part.

A true believer in Christ does not number the faults found in others.
You have been given many scriptures to show evident truth as to why having faith is important.
There should be no reason to become frustrated on the simplicity found in Christ. Or on that matter no need to argue the fact that Jesus has died for your sins and mine. At the end of the day faith saves and you will never be able to argue the truth because the truth always shines.

That's contrary to Scripture.

I've never denied the importance of faith, but you have denied the evidence of the malefactor outright.

There should be no reason to become frustrated on the simplicity found in Christ.
Then don't become frustrated and go see that the things I said concerning the malefactor are there. The Holy Spirit has attested to these things that were shown to you from the text. But you deny they are there.

It simply goes against your tradition to see them.

Or on that matter no need to argue the fact that Jesus has died for your sins and mine.
And exactly where did this argument take place? Stop bearing false witness. Thanks.

At the end of the day faith saves and you will never be able to argue the truth because the truth always shines.
Grace saves. Faith is a gift.

You argue against clear truths shown you in the text and dismiss them readily. Wow. Amazing.

Let's allow dcontroversal to answer that. I've offered him some criticism, and rightly so concerning his gospel and how he handles responses.
Just because it's directed to DC doesn't mean we can't answer it.

You haven't answered it, and can't answer it because it is directed to him and to what he has said. But hey, if you want to keep trying entertain me, it's amusing. :)

Well said Ella, I also like the 1 John 4 passage you mentioned at the end. I have found that people that are offended by the Grace of God are trusting in their own moral goodness and that's an ugly thing to see. For those who truly know Christ, he doesn't want them worrying from day to day if they will be judged, we are called to freedom from the law and because of that we can strive to love one another from the heart, the scriptures say we serve in the newness of the spirt not the oldness of the law.

I can sum up your problem in 1 statement....

You don't have a clue and have said nothing in your list above....is that the Christian fruit you are bragging about that shows your salvation?
