And it's ok to disagree on our views on some subjects too. None of us know things as we ought to know them - says Paul.

It's when they deliberately mis-represent what you said in a deceitful way and then insult you by name-calling and attempting to de-mean you. They try to "lord it over your faith" - that's where I draw the line with interacting with them anymore.

It's obvious they are full of malice and bitterness and will slander people at the drop of the hat. And then disguise this foul behavior under the cloak as "defending the faith" or "rightly dividing the word of truth" but in reality we could be just "defending our church teachings and traditions" which may or may not be entirely accurate.

I heard that......and I agree....!

Me too! It's best not to interact with these types as it causes nothing but strife and division. We should be able to just speak what we believe is true and leave it in the hands of the Holy Spirit. He will reveal Christ to all of us.

Peter....don't engage me with your diatribe and ignorance of the word...
 God bless you. You show such odd emotions about something so simple but
important. If you can praise Christ while sharing His word you are doing well.

I recommend it. Everything can be turned into another perspective if you let it.
What weakens you jibe, is "diatribe" and lack of biblical knowledge.
You need to use the word properly and not just throw out invectives, it does not
work and reflects badly on you. Reminds me of a briar and thistles, only wanting
to harm.

if you believe a lie , to be true you bring strife on your own head. this is not a debate. if you do not have scripture to back up your rant then your deemed as a liar, and a false teacher. not my words ,now take it up with the scripture you claim to know.

Proverbs 18
2 A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.

then who will listen to you. if your wrong, if you cannot prove your own stand, then stay back from everyone.

I just praise the Lord the cross is so powerful

THE ACTUAL QUOTE

Peter....don't engage me with your diatribe and ignorance of the word...

They were saved, immersed, called out and had power to heal the sick, lame, blind, raise the dead, walk on water and demons were subject unto them....and they are ALSO identified as a CHURCH no less than 2 times in the present tense.....

AND GOD IS CALLED THIER FATHER.....UNLIKE the LOST of which JESUS STATES concerning them they would do the works of their FATHER THE DEVIL

Your lack of understanding knows no bounds.....just a cake taker.....that's it!

MY FULL RESPONSE TO THE ABOVE

Dude, YOU are as deceptive as they come. You engage me, make derogatory and inflammatory comments and when I respond you wait a few days and then cut one snippet out of context, quote it and then respond with this "God Bless YOU" like you are all righteous, loving and spiritual.....this is as evil and contrary as it comes...

ALL OF CC CAN SEE THIS

dc - you do not see how worked up you are. I am cool as a cucumber and have
no clue what your issues are. No clue.

so if you are not talking to me, who are you talking to, your imaginary friends
who are saying what a blessing and insightful contribution this is making.

God bless you my friend, because whatever you are thinking and projecting
it is only hurting you ... self harming is normally a call for help ...

i would not worry about what cc can see, it is what god can see.

why was the donkey chained to a stump of a tree?, it will go no ware until god sets it free. but then a family tree has no value if it set up his house on the wrong foundation, the rhyme eeni meeni mini mo. will all they have left, when quoting there own stand from the bible.

.....this is as evil and contrary as it comes...

when anybody starts saying this about a few sentences on a christian forum talking
about the blessing it is to follow Jesus, you know they have lost it.

Now I could mention acts that really are as bad as it comes, but that is not Godly
or helpful, I think you get my meaning.

The problem with invective is release only happens if the target buckles and it hits
home. If it does not, the frustration grows and it gets stronger until it possess a man
and he pops. And it demonstrates a loss of appropriateness and the gifts of the Holy
Spirit. And if we are not walking in the Spirit, it will lead to sin and death.

What makes this also ironic, the participant is claiming they have spiritual superiority,
knowledge of scripture and of Christ. Who are we following, I hope and pray it is
our Lord who say, "Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven"

Today is a sad day when one brother claims so much in Christ yet demonstrates so
little and brings a bad witness of the very truths they claim to hold so high.

There should be a rule that if you quote someone you should not be allowed to partially quote....I am sick of context and embellishments placed upon partial quotes by those who are deceptively doing it.......if you cannot quote my whole quote in context do not quote me...it is not right to twist context by partial quotes and is deceptive....serious!

Just to provide some context.

Imagine a fist fight in the playground. Imagine you could capture the full force of a
blow in time and freeze it. You then take this out of the fight and say, look at the
punch they through, its force, its intent, its devastating effect.

In law there is a concept of justifiable force. If your life is threatened, lethal force can
be used in defence.

So lift this up into a christian context. One believer is claiming their faith destroying
judgemental comments, dooming someone to hell, is a valid response to saying we
need to walk in love and repent of our sin. Understand this is all we as a group are
saying and standing on.

Yes people will hate being exposed like this, but somehow a believer has become an
accuser, at a level that is shocking, and the justification non existant. These are
really convicted people who demand a guilty party to pummel for the hurt and upset
they have suffered over many years. We need to pray for these people, that they
might see this is the very hurt Jesus bled and died to resolve. It has never been his
way to generate so much antagonism over any issue. God bless you all, and may
Christ heal your hearts and fill you with His love to the glory of His name.

It's when they deliberately mis-represent what you said in a deceitful way

Let us be clear about something you guys seem to have missed.
If you post one 5 line idea, quoting from this is not miss-representing it, it is just
highlighting one aspect of it. The whole note is there for reference if people want.

What is apparent is people inventing insults, statements that are not there or have
never been spoken in the posts in question, and then condemning people as if this is taking place.

This is pure emotional manipulation, to create an air of hostility where non-exists.
Now who is the author of such atmospheres or desire to turn things like this?

We are a people of peace and love, so let us share what our insights are, and praise the Lord.
Jesus's enemies wanted to kill Him, he just taught the principles of the Kingdom and how to
walk in it. So we should do likewise. Those who taunt, defile themselves with the words they
speak. Let us not end up defiling ourselves, but responding in love to this obvious emotional
outpouring from a hurt past.

Yes. They leave out the context in which something is said and that can totally change what the intent was in saying something. It's very deceitful and it is a normal tactic of heretic hunters against those that have a different view on some things then they do.

This "not having the whole thing in context" then makes it "appear" to be something else then what it really was. They then re-formulate this mis-representation in their own minds - set up the straw-man - then attack this thought as if it is real. It's a deceitful way of discussing things.

I ignore these types and don't interact with them as nothing but strife and division comes from this sort of behavior. It is contrary to the life of the Lord Jesus that is in us.

It took me awhile to understand, But I think it is best we ignore these slanderers and stop giving them an audience.. I think they are just here to argue,, There is no desire to discuss the word in them,, Just argue.. Why bother give them an audience.. If we stop responding to them,, They will get bored just talking to themselves..

They do it with the word of God too. So we should not be surprised when they do it to us.. We can say the sky is blue a million times, they will always claim we say the sky is green..

if you ignore this problem, then you ignore your own stand. with the label (them and us). and them and us, will again, ask you about, acts 15 and 70 ad. again given proof to a stand. but standing in past tense. your becoming more and more of a ranter and are becoming fish food. the bible was to help prove your stand. not to defend what you cannot prove to be true.

Not hardly PAUL.....my statement is valid....every person I have encountered who believes they are sinless believes one of the three listed...You point is moot, invalid and to be frank...misses the mark!

AND I never implied anything you accused me of..so that makes you the one border line lying!<--IN BOLDED

You owe me a public apology for accusing me of something I did not post nor say nor imply!
The O.P. is a little off because here, up above, you say that everyone you meet who believes in sinless perfection must believe ONE OF THE FOLLOWING , a, b, or c from the O.P.

In the O.P., it makes it sound like the person who believes in sinless perfection must believe all three.
It might just be me...

Sinless perfection is not biblical.

Ooops. I didn't realize this was up to page 127!
It has probably been mentioned...

I have never blocked anyone as I tried to give all the benefit of the doubt, but....I finally blocked one liar and deceiver because If I did not block his deceptive embellishments I would eventually get banned from going off....snakes in the grass!
