HAH the truth hurts and cut like a hot knife when we are wrong HAH
I thought you would agree that we sin,,, isnt that whay youve been saying all along ?. i tell you that you cant judge with a double standard...meaning saying those who deny sin in the believer is one thing,,, but those who sin and rebuke other who do is just as worse than those who claim that they dont.... have a nice sabbath... if yours is a satarday...

Now im not saying dont rebuke but i am saying is your not very nice claimg this of me when you know that sometimes we are called to fight... i mean even you know that and have said as much... so why the double standard.........

That is why I love truth, it is no respecter of people.

It is also why often the issues we face are not clear cut but ones of emphasis.
Like do I love you dc?

As you are to me a person behind a few short contributions it is difficult to love
that which I do not know. But I love you as a person and as a believer.

Would I die for you? If it would make a difference, yes.
But how do we value that difference. Maybe I should say in the Lords will.
Because I trust Him to guide me, and use my sacrifice as an offering of praise.

AMEN and why you get it....Be not removed from the simplicity found in Christ Jesus......
I love the simplicity of the cross. The cross says it all.
The power of the universe, to create and do as He will, he chooses to create us, and then
to give us a chance to know Him and learn to love Him as in individual like us yet totally
different, love transcending our physical form, love desiring to make the smallest detail
one of the most significant issues.

How do we summarise beauty and love? Is it in the small flower that comes out in spring,
with a promise of yet more life to come, or in the vastness of space and galaxies, suns
creating light that goes over billions of light years? Now one is small a fragile and only
exists in a very special environment while the other is vast destructive, without restriction
bringing a resource to be used by other things, and creating elements, the building blocks
of existance.

And the cross focuses it all. It is in the giving one conscious being loving and respecting another
conscious being, within the constraints of our limitations. And we singularly fail at this without
the King in our lives.

But so many seem to have missed this, and talk of very different delusions and problems that
are irrelevant.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1-9

i could say that I would die for my son without hesitation, but I can't say for certainty I would for anyone on this forum. You're still talking a big talk Peter. I don't think too many believe you.

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him. 2 Corinthians 7:15

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Hebrews 8:12

[SUP]15 [/SUP]Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
[SUP]16 [/SUP]This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
[SUP]17 [/SUP]And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
[SUP]20 [/SUP]By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
[SUP]21 [/SUP]And having an high priest over the house of God;
[SUP]22 [/SUP]Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
[SUP]23 [/SUP]Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
[SUP]24 [/SUP]And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Hebrews 10:15-24

[SUP]35 [/SUP]Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
[SUP]36 [/SUP]For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
[SUP]37 [/SUP]For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
[SUP]38 [/SUP]Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
[SUP]39 [/SUP]But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. Hebrew 10:35-39

I could be wrong, but this is probably the most honest thing that has been said in this thread.

The OP is honest....as are numerous remarks made throughout the thread....honest is honest is honest....there is no such thing as most honest as you cannot get any more honest than honest......

To my best knowledge there will at times be different shades of honesty. A post can be somewhat honest, but dishonest about other things.

Something written can be honest to the author, but seen from a different angle, it will come across a half truth or a lie. The back and forth between several posters here is an example.

The post I commented on was something I found to be completely honest. It was saying something I could relate to. Keep in mind, we're all speaking on our own behalf.

I can only speak for myself, and that was what I was doing.
