Peace comes from understanding that when we trust Christ to save us from our sins we need no longer fear Gods angry wrath on sin.

We do struggle daily to walk in the path of righteousness. We still do not fear Gods wrath on sin because of the blood of Christ.

For the cause of Christ

Well, yes, you struggle daily to walk in the path of righteousness. That was sort of the point of the whole thing.
Have I seen that cat before?

Jesus led me to repent of sins I was committing. When I repented, my life was transformed. That is truth.
All Christians have been transformed. Do you think you are special in that regard?

So what's the deal?

The unbeliever down the street, has a nice house,4 new cars, great kids, and a pretty, nice wife.lives on the golf course, goes on nice vacations, has lots of friends, is respected in the community and has a very very nice job.

What gives?
It is true: He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. But that guy down the street who might look to some like he has it made? Without Jesus, he does not have peace, and he has not found the pearl of great price in life. Without Jesus, he is living in the flesh, and the flesh counts for nothing.

Christ is our Judge, therefore we walk according to His Judgment and not man's judgment...
He has made it very clear to those who Love and Obey Him...

And what is obedience within the context of the new covenant?

I accepted the Lord at one point of my life. That was a transformation. When the Lord led me to repent of my sin, that was another transformation.

I can’t tell if you’ve repented and are just playing with me, or if you haven’t repented. If you haven’t repented, try it – you’ll like it. After all, Jesus told us to repent (Matt 4:17).

You didn’t direct this question at me, but maybe I could add my two-cents worth. Jesus said this:

Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfil them. Matt 5:17 RSV

The arrival of Jesus did not mean it was okay to sin. We still need to obey the commandments. With Jesus we know we have a Savior, so if we’re willing to repent, he’ll patch things up for us.

That's what Religion 101 is all about - obedience. Let's move on to Religion 102.

Ahhhhh, so you are here to put Christians back under the Law. You are very religious indeed, and more.

Question, I understand you're having a conversation with another person but I wanted to ask you how often do you personally repent or was it a one time thing.

I repented of my sin when I believed in and received Christ. I repent of my sins as needed.

How about you?
