He loves me and accepts me as I am.
All he wants is me, to be my friend, to walk with me and talk with me. He promised never to foresake me or leave me.

I want to be like he is with me.

I couldn't imagine life without my friend Jesus.

I would be dead in a ditch probably from suicide due to the hurts and confusion
I could never resolve myself.

What a wonderful healer we have.

We had had baptisms yesterday.

A young mans testimony was

I was not a Christian, I became severely depressed. I drove my car to the edge of a cliff preparing myself to drive over it.
I remembered an old work colleague who was a Christian, we hadn't spoken in a while. So I thought I'd cry out to God.

He called out to God just to help him whilst in his car. "Show me you are real, I want to know you are with me here NOW"

After 20 minutes no response. He went to put turn the engine over and as he did his mobile phone rang.

He answered it and it was his Christian friend. His friend said "I just suddenly got an urge to call you, wanna meet up?

What a testimony, I had tears in my eyes.

Yes indeed.

I love baptisms and hearing how God has helped them, healed them.
On the subject of crying, I stopped crying when I was 3 or so.
After the Lord moved in my life I found I could cry.

I cried with 9/11 happened. It was an earth quake change on a belief
system from the 60's, peace and love and unity of mankind.

I cried hearing about 12 year old girls, married off to men in their 50's
terrified, wanting a divorce and how a society could do this to anyone.
I had a daughter this age so it really hit home.

Jesus wept for Lazarus, He had so much empathy.
And just your description of this guy made me well up.

The culture of the Lord is so much deeper and beautiful than the world.
I cried when my friend died last year to be with the Lord, in his mid 80's.

I still think of him, and our long sharing and encouraging each other in the Lord.
Thank you for sharing, it is a great delight to hear these testimonies.

Things such as this I do not forget, and pass on.

(John 8:12)

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

very nice PeterJens..... every time I hear a story like this, I think of 1 Thes 4:17-18....... Take comfort in the thought that in the very near future, you will see your friend again.
