Here's a good one for all the cigar smokers out there.....
I was a cigar smoker in my early twenties and I loved them. The whole experience was quite enjoyable but had to give it up when God put his finger on it.

No. I don't know any mods. I don't know who they are even. I would imagine anyone who read the post reported it though and brought it to their attention. There's a thing you can click on to report it and give them a heads up if you get a hinky feeling or if someone is out of control.

Yeah I know I hit that button a few times when I first came here but got nowhere and after talking to RoboOp I found out that there wasn't a whole lot of moderation here so it does surprise me that he was banned so quickly but anyway we can now move along.

Very simple. Jesus call to repent was before the cross. Paul preached after the cross. Two different messages.
What you say is very important, brother! Jesus preached to the Jews, who were still under the Law, and Paul preached to the Gentiles, who were under grace. Paul preached a new message that was revealed to him by Jesus Himself. So, Jesus' new message (through Paul) takes precedence over Jesus' first message, which was given to the Jews.

Jesus preached the quintessence of the law of Moses: "whoever looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery". We don't have to sell our possessions and give to the poor, as Jesus commanded in Luke 12:33 because were are under grace, but we must be holy because the author of Hebrews says that without holiness no one will see the face of God.

Others say it is unnecessary to repent and quote Paul to back up their position.
Had Paul been quoted properly this question would not even have come up.

And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:10,21).

And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? (Romans 2:3,4).

Many say Paul was a false apostle because they don't understand THIS:

Jesus told us to repent (Matt 4:17) and some of us believe we should do that. Others say it is unnecessary to repent and quote Paul to back up their position. So are we supposed to follow Jesus or are we supposed to follow Paul?
Ro 6:1-6
6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
KJV
While the word repent is not used here; the concept certainly is! There is no division here
