    Of course if we look for something we do not know where it is, yet,
    in order to find it, we must look where it is, and that is why, it is
    always in the last place we look, because once we find that
    which we are seeking, we stop looking for it

    Also, you keep going on and on about the those born of God do not sin, when people have already answered your points thru and thru, by giving their interpretation thats correct (in my view, and i believe lines up with TOTAL SCRIPTURE, not just one bit) and by mentioning the different ways to translate this particular verse.
    The only one who can interpret scripture is the Spirit of God.

    Here is what I believe...

    Anything a human being
    born of God does, will not be sin.

    Just like anything that God does , will not be sin.

    For example....Jesus is a human being born of God.
    Nothing he did was sin.

    2 Corinthians 5:17
    Therefore if any man be in Christ,
    he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
    behold, all things are become new.

    All their past was gone.
    Their past sins were as they had never sin.
    For they have all been washed away by the blood of the Lamb of God.
    For as a new creature a new beginning they were now sinless.

    And born of God.

    As it is written...

    1 John 3:9
    Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
    for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
    because he is born of God.

    1 John 5:18
    We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;
    but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,
    and that wicked one toucheth him not.

    1 john 1v 8

    If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.

    If we say we have no sin (before we become a new creature)we deceive
    ourselves and the truth is not in us.

    If we claim we are born of God and commit sin,
    we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.

    1 John 3:9
    Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
    for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
    because he is born of God.

    1 John 5:18
    We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;
    but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,
    and that wicked one toucheth him not.

    Jesus was born of God. therefore he sinneth not.
    Jesus was begotten of God therefore he kept himself
    that the wicked one toucheth him not.

    These people...

    John
    Chapter 1

    12 But as many as received him,
    to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
    even to them that believe on his name:

    13 Which were born, not of blood,
    nor of the will of the flesh,
    nor of the will of man,
    but of God.

    Are these people...

    1 John 3:9
    Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
    for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
    because he is born of God.

    1 John 5:18
    We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;
    but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,
    and that wicked one toucheth him not.

    There are no errors in the words of the born of God for as it is written...

    Matthew 10:20
    For it is not ye that speak,
    but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

    Therefore when someone speaks words in error it is their father speaking in them.

    And we all know who is the spirit of error.

    The Born of God cannot ever be deceived
    for they have the Spirit of God, their Father.

    The deceived need no one to deceive them.

    For it is written...

    James 1:14
    But every man is tempted,
    when he is drawn away of his own lust,
    and enticed.

    There you go...you can read word for word what I believe.

    And there are no flaws or errors in it.

    It is flawless and perfect.

    For all of you reading my thread who are not members...
    If you have any questions sign up and post them for me
    and I will answer them for you.

    If the Lord be willing.

    first those verses are not back to back like you posted it.
    they are 2 seperate issues.

    one The subject: Who then can be saved?
    With men this is impossible;but with God all things are possible.
    yes you can not be saved without God. with God all things are possible
    but the bible also says sinners will not inherit the kingdom.

    repent be babtized, believe in the gospel.

    second subject- the falling away
    now if someone gets saved, recieves the gift of the holy spirit,
    had known God, have tasted of the heavenly gift, and about things to come.
    those who were once enlightened,
    [If they shall fall away]

    Luke 8:13 (KJV)
    They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy;
    and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

    2 Peter 3:17 (KJV)
    Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also,
    being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
