Anything a human being
born of God does, will not be sin.

Just like anything that God does , will not be sin.

For example....Jesus is a human being born of God.
Nothing he did was sin.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ,
he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new.

All their past was gone.
Their past sins were as they had never sin.
For they have all been washed away by the blood of the Lamb of God.
For as a new creature a new beginning they were now sinless.

And born of God.

As it is written...

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God.

1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;
but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,
and that wicked one toucheth him not.

1 john 1v 8

If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.

If we say we have no sin (before we become a new creature)we deceive
ourselves and the truth is not in us.

If we claim we are born of God and commit sin,
we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God.

1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;
but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself,
and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Jesus was born of God. therefore he sinneth not.
Jesus was begotten of God therefore he kept himself
that the wicked one toucheth him not.

I think in your zeal you missed one:

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

He was not talking to the born of God. For He has also stated the born of God will not sin.
Unless you are claiming he contradicted himself with his own words.

I am saying if he is then he contradicted himself by saying this...

1 John 3:9

1 John 5:18

You pick which one he is talking about the born of God?

Oceanblue, the bible is full of instructions that seem to contradict each other, if we take either side and ignore the other side we will be in error. Take BOTH sides even though they may seem to contradict and believe both of them and you will get the truth. John was simply saying that when we completely follow God we do not sin(true), then he said that when we sin(because we did not completely follow God) then we can be forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ.

1 John 2:1 My little children

So are you saying John is calling "my little chlidren" those who are not born of God?
You are right, and the "we" points back to "my little children" all epistles are written to the Church, the elect or called out ones. It amazes me how people interpret the Word by looking in the epistles to apply some part of it to the world. There's another verse he left out 1 John 1:8 "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." This is clearly speaking to the saints, "we" "we" "we" "ourselves" "us" that's not the unsaved world, unless John is part of the sinful world.

My Brother your zeal is wonderful, add to it wisdom and the world is in trouble. Remember when interpreting the Bible that verses do not stand alone, they are part of the context of the letter, the chapter and the
sentence just like any other writing. Context, context, context. Here's a verse that gets misinterpreted all the time, by taking it out of context.

2 Peter 3:8-9
"
But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance."

The thought is addressed to the beloved, then "you" points back to beloved, as does "any" as well as "all" the context is it's addressed to the believers and Peter is letting them know that the judgement is coming, but he doesn't want them to overlook one thing. That He is patient toward the Church (beloved) and wishes that none of them perish, but come to repentance. Why because He knows His own. John 10:27-28 "
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand."

Do you believe the born of God commit sin?
John does 1 John 2:8-10
"If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."

If you read this in the Greek, it talking about a continued life in sin, with no conviction from the Holy Spirit to confess your sin. Here's where some problems come in, we've been brainwashed in to automatically interpreting the word confess to mean a verbal acknowledgement of sin, when the Greek word means, "to agree" so we agree with God the Spirit that we have sin or we make Him liar.
