How do I know if Gods plan for me was to fail at everything, suffer a bit, then kill myself? I have not really gotten there, but that point seems close. Got nothing saved, if wife kicks me out, homeless with a Motorcycle.
Pray for us please.

God definitely has plans for you so please don't despair. I am praying for God to deliver you from anxiety and the cloud of depression that is hovering over you.

The deeds of the Calumniator, whispering of unrighteous, hear not these falsitudes and deceptions, but rest in the tranquility of truth and righteousness in the Word of God.

To take human life without God's permission (police, judges, and armies), even your own life, is murder, and murderers will not enter the kingdom of heaven. So what you would be doing is trading one temporary pain for a worse eternally permanent pain- that does not solve anything, only makes it so much worse. Don't listen to Satan when he tempts you in this way. Suicide is never the answer- no matter how bad things get, do not destroy your eternity over it.

This life is hard because it is a test- never fail the test! As bad as things seem now, heaven will still be worth every bit of it. "He will wipe every tear from thier eyes, never again will they suffer." Satan wants to trick you into losing that! Do you really want to spend an eternity with him? Or have you had enough of him?

Use everything in your power to not allow that thinking- call the national suicide hotline if you have to. No matter what, suicide is not an option, and solves nothing.

Be not dismayed no matter what happens, God takes care of His own. If it came to being homeless, there are homeless shelters who have programs to hook you up with housing and jobs. And there is the church.

I dont know the specifics of your situation, but maybe you could get marriage counseling? It is impossible for divorce to happen without at least one of the two sinning. Even the threat of divorce means sin. Whether it's her sin, your sin, or both, addressing the sin is where you need to start.

As far as it depends on you, be like Christ. Be as innocent, loving, and forgiving as you can be. Be gentle with her. Communicate with her a lot. Treat it very delicately. Spoil her- not with money, but with words and actions. Say something kind to her, do something kind for her. Watch the movie "Fire Proof." It has a false "ask Jesus into your heart" teaching, but the repair of the marriage is perfect.

It's never gods plan for a person to kill themselves. Though he said we will go through tribulations he also said he will be with us & strengthen us. All the troubles of this life are temporary, none of it will be remembered once you are with God for eternity. Continue to endure & have faith in the Lord when you look back thousands of years from now you will be so thankful you didn't give up during the brief time you were on this earth. I pray for your situation to get better.

Have you read the book of Job? There wouldn't have been one if he killed himself. Same with Joseph, Moses, anybody with a great testimony. It's not always the great life that gives God glory, often it is in the suffering that miracles happen. It is the ones who suffer most in this life that will receive the biggest rewards. Just make sure that the suffering is because you refuse to take your hand out of the fire you started.

Hi BrotherDave: This idea of "God's plan" in my opinion has confused a lot of Christians, specially when bad things happen(did God plan this for me?). God's plan for you is that where ever you are at and in whatever condition you are in, to keep faith in Father God through Jesus Christ. The plan of Satan is to destroy you. There is this false idea that all these wonderful things are laid out for us by God if we just do this or that, the bible does not teach that. Paul is our example of a Christian, here was a man who was extremely faithful to God yet every bad thing you can imagine happened to him, why? Did God plan the bad things? NO! Satan and evil people planned the bad things. Keep your faith in God Dave...God loves you.

Psa 34:15-19
The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous And His ears are open to their cry.
The face of the Lord is against evildoers, To cut off the memory of them from the earth.
The righteous cry, and the Lord hears And delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.

(Note: The righteous in this passage includes you. By grace, because you are a believer in Christ you are declared righteous. Everything in this promise from God applies to you. You only need to believe it and act in faith to solve your problems.)

I agree with the above comments bro. Leave it all in GOD's hands...Mathew 11: 28-30 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily laden and I will give you rest. 29 "Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 "For MY yoke is easy and my burden is light ."

I will pray for u bro for strength ,comfort and peace. He is working in your life right now it is not maybe the answer you want but they are the answer you need. GOD BLESS YOU!

I think the Lord has something better planned for you than that. I know he doesn't want you to kill yourself. Are you praying constantly like Paul told us (1 Thess 5:17)?

God's plan for you is that you learn through suffering, come through it, and find life through His Name.

The purpose of suffering is to bring us to our senses. He meets us in the midst of suffering. It is then that we recognise there is no hope but Him.

There is ONE Who suffered untold agony for you. He did so, so that you might be forgiven and find life though His Name. Look to Him and cast yourself upon Him, and He will forgive your past and lift you up to a new future.

Then listen to HIS voice and obey Him, and the first thing that He will say is, 'Be honest with your wife, and sort it out between you'.

Oh boy, you sound like me and my situation.
I have been down to my last penny every month for so long now I can't even think how long...and every month, I somehow make it through. I am living with my mom. My husband of 20 years found an online girlfriend and wanted a divorce. I lost my job and cannot find one no matter what I have tried. Even at the Dollar Store, the manager said there were 250 applicants applying for the one position. (Five years ago I was making 600.00 per day and I would have NEVER applied to the Dollar Store. It would have been far beneath me to do such a thing). And He has done it all to grow my faith in Him and to not make my faith dependent on my circumstances. Sometimes I think that when people see me, they must think I am a good reason NOT to meet God. They don't know how He blesses me when He keeps growing my faith. I've struggled through this for over five years now. I asked Him many times if He would just let me come to be with Him. His plan is not for you to fail at everything and then kill yourself. His plan is to grow you strong in faith, so strong that it does not fail based on circumstances. It doesn't feel that way in the heat of the testing of our faith though. It feels like He has turned His hand against us and seeks our harm.

What you are experiencing is not God's plan, but the world's:

John 12:25
Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

John 15:19
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

James 4:4
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

2 Corinthians 12:10
That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

1 Corinthians 4:11
Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place; [SUP]12 [/SUP]And labor, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: [SUP]13 [/SUP]Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the off scouring of all things unto this day. [SUP]14 [/SUP]I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you."

Matthew 5:3
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. 10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Luke 6:20
“Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. 21 Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh. 22 Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. 23 “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets. 24 “But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort. 25 Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep. 26 Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.

Matthew 10:22
You will be hated by everyone because of Me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Philippians 1:21
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 22 If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! 23 I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; 24 but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. 25 Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith

1 Thessalonians 3:7
Therefore, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith. 8 For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord.

***

That feeling that you don't belong in this world? It's because you don't belong to this world. The fact that you suffer in it says you must be doing something right. God says to persevere. Paul said he would. Shall we do any less?

I’m sorry that you are going through this. The Lord has plans for you. We can understand His plans for us through the Bible, by studying His Word and through prayer. His plans for you is a future filled with hope and success (Jeremiah 29:11) He loves you so much that’s why He sent His only Son Jesus to die for all of us, all we have to do is trust and believe in His promises. Put your trust in Him, He will use people to help you and He will provide for you. You may want to reach out and stay connected to people who will encourage you, talking with your Pastor or some people in the church would be a good idea. Don’t give up, I have faith that no matter how difficult life may be, eventually, it will get better.
Praying for you that you will feel God’s comfort and you will feel secure knowing that He loves you. This article might help you. Thank you for sharing.

That is usually my thought, just the whole situation is almost at the tipping point. I need surgeries, but my wifes' insurance kicked me out, even though we sent the 2 pieces of proof they requested. So now i get to stay in pain longer until they reinstate me. just tired. I am a firm believer that not everybody will be rich and successful, so I am OK with low paying jobs that have no promotions in the future. Only a few years left until retirement, but that can be long on the street. I don't whore around, I don't abuse drugs, pain all day, I believe Satan is the one responsible for all of the bad in the world, and WWIII is not too for off. Thanks for encouraging, I try day by day. Prayers to ya.
