Kris, I wish it would have worked out to build spec homes in Billings for me. BUT, I have to go back to P-burg and visit the satan laws at some point, I mean the in-laws at some point. We have to meet up. At least for a quick cup of coffee or Cabela's for a gun or knife.
Please let me know when you are passing thru. I will make time for sure.

I will. And I will bring the Montana mountain mahogany handled Knife with me. My Father in-law want's to show me how I could do better anyway.:)

But your good brother? Anything we could specifically pray for? And most of the time I hate asking that, because from my experience that is someone asking for their next gossip point.

But if there is anything, I will pray for you Brother.

Haha! Isn't that nice...can't just say.....wow! Great knife. Lol. I feel you man.

I'm good. My band is playing a gig in May. It's kinda of a big deal and lots of people will see us. We are hoping to knock it out of the park because if we do we'll have people begging us to play. It's been a dream of mine to play in a gigging band and it might be how I "retire". :). Just playing music with my friends.

Got something specific to pray about then!

I can't remember the thread you posted a video of your solo for a Christmas celebration? But I liked it! You have a real gift with that guitar.

Thanks my friend. I've been practicing A LOT. I don't even care to think about how many thousands of hours in the last 6 or 8 months. It was the only place I found any peace. If I didn't have my boy I had a guitar in my lap. There are countless weekends where I didn't leave my basement and the only time I set it down was to go pee. Lol

In the BDF i mean. People calling each other liars and heretics? Where people seem to be more concerned with everybody else's salvation? As if they're "on a mission from God" to put someone in their place. Is that what the Christian walk means to people? An outward circumstance in relation to ourselves? Seems like so much of the world even acts that way. They just use a different language.
Shhh, be vewy vewy kwiet, I'm huntin' phawisees.

This is a forum for discussion.

Ideally it would be comprised of people who believe Jesus Christ, but being an open forum, it is not always peopled by such.

If someone is deliberately misguiding others, that is, trolling, he may easlily and honestly be labeled a liar or an heretic.

Ordinarily we like to assume those posting are either believers sharing their blessings or seekers in earnest.

When a belieer is labeled a liar, an heretic or worse, praise God; Jesus was labeled worse, and still is by many.

Praise Jesus Christ, amen.

I'm still a good dad. I think I needed this place in some ways to stay connected somehow. There was a whole world outside my door I wasn't connected with anymore. In some ways I was barely functioning. I didnt intend for this thread to be me about me. I hoped it would encourage people to turn the looking glass on themselves. I know I do. But if people wanna pile on and tell me that I need to change, it just sort of goes with the theme that's been in my head my whole life...that I'm not good enough as I am. I know it's not the truth...but it is my burden...letting people walk on me.

Coming out of this last year my circle of friends is much smaller. I'm very choosy about that. I choose people who think I am ok as I am.
sad news is kids idolize their dads, but come 14 - 19 dads can become the old man who knows nothing, and it
is tough. So you need real love and connection to pull one through.

I recently left a Bible discussion forum because it had become hijacked by false teachers and was nothing but a war zone! No love, no edification, just false doctrine, false accusations, straw man arguments, argue, argue, argue!

Sadly, it can seem like, "Christian or not Christian," people are still people. :(

I never idolized my dad.

I disowned my earthly one and spoke to God most of my childhood.

Sirk, we have to listen to God and how He sees us and not our own doubts and insecurities. Having a small trusted group of friends isn't a bad thing, but will keep you in prayer. I have had days when I would prefer to hide at home then face the world also. Through Christ, we can do anything.

Since I first saw you in here I thought I recognized you from there. Same name...but I wasn't sure.

It's hard to get it right and to then actually walk in the whole counsel of God, in the Spirit. Many missteps and stumbles as we learn. We start to juggle three balls pretty well, but at some point we can drop two of them and still think we're juggling all three of them because we're gazing so intently only at the one we are currently focused on. Not defending them, just noting that it's difficult because there is something in us that tugs and tries to pull us back toward our outside.

All the while rejecting Galatians 1 and 3 which proves this a false doctrine that is double cursed with no power to actually save anyone......
