May 14, 1948 G-D FULFILLED HIS WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is only one place in the world that God has declared as holy, and that's Mount Zion and the land of Israel. The prophet
Isaiah wrote this - "Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount
Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously." Isaiah 24:23. There is only one people that are God's "chosen people",
and they are the Jews. "And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I
may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people." Isaiah 51:16. And there
is one main event in bible prophecy that had to happen to usher in the time that the bible calls the "Last Days", or the "time of Jacob's trouble", and that event happened on May 14, 1948.
"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and
putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh: So likewise ye, when
ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors. Verily
I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."
Matthew 24:32-34
The Apostles came to Jesus and asked Him about the end of the world, and how would people living then know it was happening. It went like this:

"And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the
end is not yet." Matthew 24: 2-6
So Jesus begins to tell them about how things will gradually heat up and increase until we reach the time that we call the Last Days. The Book of Matthew continues, giving more and more
details and time clues until we reach the "big clue", the biggest one of them all. Stating in Matthew 24:32, Jesus says this:

"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves,
ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things
be fulfilled."

So He tells them that the generation of people that will be alive on the earth when the Last Days come about, would witness what He called the "fig tree" blooming, and putting forth it's leaves. And He equated that with the fulfillment of His End Time prophecy. So what or who is the "fig tree"? It would seem that if we could figure that out, then we would know who the last generation might be.

Throughout recorded history, nations have always be typified by "types and figures" to describe them. Russia is the "bear", America is the "eagle", England the "lion", and Israel the "fig tree". Wait...did I just say "fig tree"? Wow, what a coincidence!

So Jesus was saying that when you see ISRAEL re-blooming, whenever that would take place,
that that generation would be the one that would be on the earth and living when the Last Days would occur. So if Israel was destroyed in 70 AD, and it was, when did it "bloom" again? May 14, 1948 is the date that history records that fact occuring. The generation that witnessed that, the WWII generation, still have not, for all intents and purposes, passed off the scene. They are still alive and with us today, and we are the people that Jesus said would be alive on the earth when the Last Days would happen.

That time is right now. Let it sink in for a moment, I will say it again.

The time of the "last days" that Jesus refered to, is not "in the future" and it's not "coming soon". It is here right now. For the past 6 decades, all the major players have been taking the stage and playing the parts that God said they would.
Consider the following events which have already taken place:

• Russia and China, two major End Times players, have already signed a pact.
• Russia, the biggest End Times player, has already helped Iran build a nuclear reactor.
• Iran has repeated over and over their desire to wipe Israel off the map.
• Iran now has nuclear weapons capable of reaching Israel.

Yermiyahu / Jer 31:2-4 I will care for them as I did those who escaped from Egypt, to whom I showed my mercies in the wilderness, when Israel sought for rest." For long ago the L-RD had said to Israel: "I have loved you, O my people, with an everlasting love; with loving-kindness I have drawn you to me. I will rebuild your nation, O virgin of Israel. You will again be happy and dance merrily with the timbrels.
Yermiyahu Jer 31:35-38 Thus saith the L-RD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The L-RD of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the
L-RD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. Thus saith the L-RD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the L-RD. Behold, the days come, saith the L-RD, that the city shall be built to the L-RD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
Blessed are you Oh HaShem who causes the Pride of Yeshua (Salvation) to Flourish. We want Mashiach!

Where do you stand with Yeshua (Jerusalem) OR THE REST??

I say... when Jesus comes we, as born again Christians, are goin' up no matter where we stand in this world. As long as God's spirit is in us, we will be caught up to be with the Lord. All that happens down here will be horrible, but God's wrath will not be on the Christians. So Im not with Jerusalem or the world... Im with Jesus.

The bible doesn't really mention any restoration of Israel after the Babylonian captivity. We could take any event in history and say that this or that verse in the bible was speaking about that event.

The New World Coin Introduced at G-8!

We’ve all heard of the coming one-world government and single world currency. In fact, prophecy watchers have experienced these terms so often that there is a tendency to ignore any news that mentions them.

But now, there is a new twist to the story … from the Russians, no less! Russia’s leader, Dmitry Medvedev has predicted a coming global currency. As reported on July 10th by Bloomberg financial news, he called for a new form of money at the recent Italian meeting of the G-8: “Russian President Dmitry Medvedev illustrated his call for a supranational currency to replace the dollar by pulling from his pocket a sample coin of a ‘united future world currency.’.......

Little does he know that he was simply repeating a truth that Bible students have preached throughout the last century. He held up the coin as a visual aid to make his point. Its obverse design features the words, “United Future World Currency,” surrounding five different types of tree leaves sprouting from a single stem. Apparently, these symbolize different groups of nations. We are immediately reminded of a biblical prophecy uttered by our Lord to His disciples:

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
“And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
“When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
“So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand” (Lk. 21:28-31).

Here, the phrase “All the trees,” is an expression for the rise of the Gentile nations surrounding Israel in the latter days. On its reverse side, the coin has a large numeral “1,” and the words “Unity in Diversity” and the year 2009. It is also marked “Test - Limited Issue.”

I think you should calm down. JWs have been at the longer than you (they've also gotten it wrong every time) and they ultimately settled that Jesus came back in spirit because nothing happened ;)

"diaspora"
amen brother, the State of Israel was formed in 1947 by mans decree, not God. i mentioned before, love how israel calls itself "secular society" and in the same breathe claim "the holy land" as rightfully given them by God, "diaspora"

Star of David was not King Davids "standard/insignia" lol

Not sure I understand this. God uses men all the time to carry out His will, even men who don't believe in Him.

The disciples asked Jesus when He was at the mount of olives with His disciples,if He would restore the kingdom on earth to the Jews at that time.
The Jews knew that God would restore the kingdom on earth back to them, because it is in the Old Testament.
Restore means to give back what they lost.
Jesus said,it is not for them to know the time when this will happen, which the Father put in His own power.

The Old Testament says that all Gentile nations will fall one day,but Israel shall not fall but she shall not be wholly unpunished.
After Israel has born her shame, and recognizes Jesus as her Messiah,God will restore the kingdom on earth back to the Jews.

The Bible says that Israel is blinded in part, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in,and so all Israel shall be saved.
This is not all Israel spiritually, but all Israel shall be saved physically.

Jesus will restore the kingdom to the Jews in the millennial reign of Christ,as Jesus sits on the throne of David, ruling out of Jerusalem.

In the Old Testament God said,as long as the Sun and Moon give their light,God's covenant has not ended with Israel.

Israel became a nation again in 1948,and Jesus will restore the kingdom back to them in the millennial reign of Christ, and all Gentile governments will fall.

This is wrong mpaper.. first of what did the Jews at that expect the Messiah to be and secondly what was His kingdom? you should have the answer to that as it is common knowledge.

Now look at Acts 1, what was Jesus asked?

The Jews got it wrong, yes Jesus was the Messiah but not how the Jews thought, He brought in a Spiritual realm/Kingdom. I don't belive that a restored Jerusalem is what we see on our TV screens as in Israel, but the New Jerusalem at the Parousia.

I also do not see God as having one plan for Jews, and a seperate plan for Gentiles.

The Apostle Paul goes to great lengths to let us know we are all one in Christ, the Jew first then the Gentile.

Not the gentile Church.. then a couple of thousand years later the 'Messianic Jews'. we are one in Christ - Jew and Gentile alike. That is why I am not a big fan of the title 'Messianic Jew' as it seems to denote a separateness, something unique. If Scripture says there is no longer Jew, gentile, slave but all one in Christ, where does this leave this specialised name? Do I now run around calling myself a 'Celtic Christian'

We are the Spiritual Israel, Ingrafted into the vine, in fulfillment of the covenant/promise God made with Abraham, Christ the ultimate seed was the blessing to all nations, and the Land is the Land to come 'The New Jerusalem' at the end of time.

they were shown His tender mercy from the start, yet they killed the prophets God sent, then testified they were from God after all, then when Jesus come they rejected Him outright as God knew they would. the secular state of Israel. i heard it preached that God formed Israel in preparation for Jesus' return, that to occupy the holy city for Him to take His throne, what a load of hogwash i thought when i heard that, mountains will melt and the seas will foam at His coming.

a nation reaps what it has sowed. God always has left and will leave a remnant of His people

on the question of Iran, does sit on alot of oil- kicked american interests out 70's- the root of all evil is the love of money, what the west has sowed in the middle east over the last 150yrs they will reap, nothing surprising, more interesting is Mesopotamia (iran) is where it all began and wouldn't surprise me that it will be the catalyst where it will all end. West always looking for enemies under the veil of righteousness to gain greed. we have all the wealth and knowledge and still we have the poor, Jesus said we would cause He knew that man in general is greedy, me,myself and i is the western way propagated world wide to "westernise countries"

come Jesus come, the terrible day of the Lord when He comes to repay

The Messiah to unite Israel with Gentile believers
· Isaiah 49:19-21 19 "Though you were ruined and made desolate and your land laid waste, now you will be too small for your people, and those who devoured you will be far away. The children born during your bereavement will yet say in your hearing, 'This place is too small for us; give us more space to live in.' Then you will say in your heart, 'Who bore me these? I was bereaved and barren; I was exiled and rejected. Who brought these up? I was left all alone, but these--where have they come from?'"
· Isaiah 54:1-3 "Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband," says the LORD. "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.
· Zechariah 2:10 "Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you," declares the LORD. "Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you.
Israel's enemies will be removed
· Isaiah 33:17-20 17 Your eyes will see the king in his beauty and view a land that stretches afar. In your thoughts you will ponder the former terror: "Where is that chief officer? Where is the one who took the revenue? Where is the officer in charge of the towers?" You will see those arrogant people no more, those people of an obscure speech, with their strange, incomprehensible tongue. Look upon Zion, the city of our festivals; your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode, a tent that will not be moved; its stakes will never be pulled up, nor any of its ropes broken.
· Isaiah 41:11-12 "All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.
The Messiah will dwell in Zion (Jerusalem)
· Isaiah 2:3 Many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
· Zechariah 8:3 This is what the LORD says: "I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain.
The Messiah will be king over all the earth and only the God of Israel will be worshipped
· Zechariah 14:1-9 A day of the LORD is coming when your plunder will be divided among you. I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him. On that day there will be no light, no cold or frost. It will be a unique day, without daytime or nighttime--a day known to the LORD. When evening comes, there will be light. On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea and half to the western sea, in summer and in winter. The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name.
·

A new temple of worship will be built on Mount Zion upon Messiah's reign
· Ezekial 43:6-7 While the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speaking to me from inside the temple. He said: "Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet. This is where I will live among the Israelites forever. The house of Israel will never again defile my holy name--neither they nor their kings--by their prostitution and the lifeless idols of their kings at their high places.

· Ezekial 44:10 "'The Levites who went far from me when Israel went astray and who wandered from me after their idols must bear the consequences of their sin. They may serve in my sanctuary, having charge of the gates of the temple and serving in it; they may slaughter the burnt offerings and sacrifices for the people and stand before the people and serve them.

World wide celebration of the Feast of Tablenacles (Succoth)
· Zechariah 14:16-17 Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain.
The return of the Jews to Israel is the key to bible prophecy. Most other endtime prophecies depend on the Jewish people living in Israel and not scattered amongst the Gentiles. Israel has not existed as a nation since hundreds of years before the birth of Christ. Israel was established on May 15, 1948.
Deuteronomy 4:27-28,30-31 27And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you. 28And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. 30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, [even] in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; 31(For the LORD thy God [is] a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
  • Moses predicted that the Jews would be scattered throughout the world and persecuted as has occurred for the last three thousand years and that one day the Jews would return to God and to the land of Israel which he promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Isaiah 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
Jeremiah 30:3 For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
Joel 3:1-2 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, 2I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and [for] my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
Amos 9:11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
  • Foresaw the restoration of Israel in one day (May 15, 1948).
Ezekiel 36:24,33-35 24For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. 33"Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded. 34And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. 35And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.
  • Israel is restored in one day and becomes a land of milk and honey in this current time.
Hosea 9:10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.
Jeremiah 24:2-5 2One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad. 3Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. 4Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 5Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
  • The fig tree is used by Hosea and Jeremiah to refer to Jewish people.
Matthew 24:32-33 32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
  • Israel the fig tree has put forth its leaves and been reborn as a nation therefore the the coming of Christ draws near.
The prophet Ezekiel wrote one of the most famous prophecies of Israel’s rebirth. In chapter 37, he describes a vision of dead, dried bones. In this vision, these bones come together, and God resurrects a great army from them. In the interpretation that follows, God tells the prophet that these bones represent the nation of Israel, which will be restored.
