You have no basis to even say this.

come present your case in the scriptures for us if you can.
but not one verse in the bible says the Sabbath is done away,
and says now sunday is the true day. so lets discuss this then.
There is no day that is the Sabbath now but Jesus Himself - it is not Saturday or Sunday or any other day. Jesus said that the law was fulfilled in Him. Paul said in Col. that the law was a shadow of the real substance which is Christ.

The Law of Moses spoke of Christ Himself. Get this wrong and we create a works-based religion of mixing the Old Covenant with the New Covenant and make a complete mess out of both of them.

There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for those that "believe" in Christ and cease from their own works ( Like Sabbath keeping by trying to observe a certain day ). Heb. 4:9-11

So, let's not lead others astray and desert Christ for the Law of Moses and commit spiritual adultry on our Lord. Rom. 7:1-6.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying,

Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins,

There is no day that is the Sabbath now but Jesus Himself
So Paul keeping the Sabbath after Christ, has no bearing ?

Christ told us in N.T. church to keep the Passover and feast of unleavened bread.
Gods revelations even show someone was going to change Gods holydays and seasons.

You go keep believing in Roman ways all you want, but that is far from the truth.

the passover and days of unleavened bread was ordained A memorial forver,
before one word of the old covenant was spoken. also

-You read of the actual making of the Old Covenant,
and sealing it with blood, in (Exodus 24:4-8).

And notice it concludes with the words,
“the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you ….”

to the Ten Commandment law, God added no more (Deuteronomy 5:22).
-It was then already made..., completed..., done deal, in force.

22These words the Lord spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire,
of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: [and he added no more].
And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.

-Any other law, or covenant, coming later, is no part of it,
but a separate law or covenant. Paul tells us

“Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed,
no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto” (Galatians 3:15)

-Once a covenant is signed, sealed, or ratified,
confirmed—in force,it cannot be added to or taken away from.
The Ten Commandments law was complete, God added no more or taken away..

-

But the Sabbath covenent and Holy days covenents
are seperate from the ten commandments.

-the sabbath covenant
a seperate covenent apart from the ten commandents
and is a forever binding covent between his chosen people.

13Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep:
for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations;
that (ye may know) that I am the Lord that doth (sanctify you).

16Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, (to observe)
(the sabbath) throughout their generations, for (a perpetual) (covenant).

17“It is (a sign) between me and the children of Israel (for ever):
for in six days the [Eternal] made heaven and earth, and on
the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed” similar to Exodus 20:11.

Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout
your generations that ye may know that I am the [Eternal] that doth sanctify you”

“Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them,
that they might know that I am the [Eternal] that sanctify them.
But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my
statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them;
and my sabbaths they greatly polluted:then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them
in the wilderness, to consume them”(Ezekiel 20:12-13).

"which if [a man do] , he [God] shall even [live in] them;

“If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day;
and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the [Eternal],honourable;

and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure,
nor speaking thine own words”(Isaiah 58:13)

“Then shalt thou delight thyself in the [Eternal];
and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth,

and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father:
for the mouth of the [Eternal] hath spoken it”

Which the Lord commanded to be given them of the children of Israel,
in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

Thy name, O Lord, endureth for ever; and thy memorial,
O Lord, throughout all generations.

And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they
may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely
be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

21And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see
my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.
22So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God
from that day and forward.

21In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth,
and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them;
and they shall know that I am the Lord.

33And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,)
then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.

The Law of Christ is what Christians live by, and as someone pointed out they were shadows:

.
shadows of [things to come] future tence- not past tence

Isaiah 66:23

And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another,
and from one sabbath toanother, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.

There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for those that "believe" in Christ and cease from
their own works ( Like Sabbath keeping by trying to observe a certain day ). Heb. 4:9-11

So, let's not lead others astray and desert Christ for the Law of Moses
and commit spiritual adultry on our Lord. [Rom. 7:1-6.]
Quote Rom. 7:1-6.
-
Please read the rest of the chapter

-

Quote Heb. 4:9-11 a Sabbath rest, cease from their own works
-
Lets read about A warning-about entering into His rest.

Heb 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering
into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

-how did they came short?

Heb 4:2 For indeed we have had good tidings preached unto us,
even as also they: but the word of hearing did not profit them,
because it was not united by (faith) with them that heard.

-they did not have faith.

Heb 4:3 For we who have believed do enter into that rest;even as
he hath said, As I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest:
although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Heb 4:4 For he hath said somewhere of the seventh day on this wise,
And God rested on the seventh day from all his works;

-notice entering into that rest is connected with the seventh day.

Heb 4:5 and in this place again, They shall not enter into my rest.
Heb 4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some should enter thereinto,
and they to whom the good tidings were before preached

failed to enter in because of disobedience,
entered not in because of unbelief:
-God said they will not enter His rest, but they failed because of [disobedience].
about the 7th day Sabbath command.

Heb 4:7 he again defineth a certain day, To-day, saying in David
so long a time afterward (even as hath been said before),
To-day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts.

Heb 4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken
afterward of another day.

-David said "today" long after Joshua took them into the promised land
so thus proving that there is a rest still to be entered.

Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God.
Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works,
as God did from his. Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest,

that no man fall after the same example of [disobedience].
lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
-A rest remains, but notice the issue is do not disobey.

Heb 9:3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holy of holies;
Heb 9:4 having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid
round about with gold, wherein was a golden pot holding the manna,
and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

-the pot of manna was put in the most Holy

Deu 8:2 And thou shalt remember all the way which Jehovah thy God hath led thee
these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble thee, to prove thee, to know
what was in thy heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or not.
Deu 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna,
which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know

that man doth not live by bread only, but by everything that proceedeth
out of the mouth of Jehovah doth man live.
Deuteronomy 8:2 (KJV)
And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

-God tested them for 40 years to humble them to see what was in their hearts.
that they should live by every word (10 commandments spoken by Gods own mouth)
not by bread alone.

-what did the bread teach?

Exo 16:4 Then said Jehovah unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you;
and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may prove them,
whether they will walk in my law, or not.

Exo 16:5 And it shall come to pass on the sixth day, that they shall prepare that which
they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.

-and how long did God prove them with the manna?

Exo 16:32 And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded, Let
an omerful of it be kept throughout your generations, that they may see the bread
wherewith I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.

Exo 16:33 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omerful of manna therein,
and lay it up before Jehovah, to be kept throughout your generations.

As Jehovah commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.
And the children of Israel did eat the manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited;
they did eat the manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.

-40 years. this is the issue being spoken of in Hebrews:

Heb 3:16 For who, when they heard, did provoke? nay, did not all they
that came out of Egypt by Moses?

Heb 3:17 And with whom was he displeased forty years?
was it not with them that sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
Heb 3:18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest,
but to them that were disobedient?
Heb 3:19 And we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.

Hebrews 4:4-10 "For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise,
And God did rest the seventh day from all his works [Gen. 2:2-3].

And in this [place again],

If they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it remaineth
that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in
because of unbelief [sound familiar?]: Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David,
To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
There remaineth therefore a rest [see below] to the people of God. For he that is entered
into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his."

Genesis 2:2-3 "And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made;
and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God
blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from
all his work which God created and made."

The LORD created the seventh day (Sabbath), blessed and sanctified it
"because that in it he had rested from all his work".

-once God has blessed something, can it be undone?

Numbers 23:19-20 "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man,
that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall
he not make it good? Behold, I have received commandment to bless:

and he hath blessed; and [I cannot reverse it]."

-Here Balaam tells Balak that the LORD gave him a commandment to bless Israel.
He told Balak that what the LORD has blessed, he cannot reverse it.
Do we think we can reverse the blessing the LORD has placed on something?

1 Chronicles 17:26-27 "And now, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness
unto thy servant: Now therefore let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may
be before thee for ever: for thou blessest, O LORD, and it shall be blessed for ever."

Revelation 1:10

New International Version

On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,

New Living Translation
It was the Lord's Day, and I was worshiping in the Spirit. Suddenly, I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet blast.

English Standard Version
I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet

Berean Study Bible
On the Lord's day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,

Berean Literal Bible
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like that of a trumpet,

New American Standard Bible
I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet,

Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary
1:9-11 It was the apostle's comfort that he did not suffer as an evil-doer, but for the testimony of Jesus, for bearing witness to Christ as the Immanuel, the Saviour; and the Spirit of glory and of God rested upon this persecuted apostle. The day and time when he had this vision was the Lord's day, the Christian sabbath, the first day of the week, observed in remembrance of the resurrection of Christ. Let us who call him Our Lord, honour him on his own day. The name shows how this sacred day should be observed; the Lord's day should be wholly devoted to the Lord, and none of its hours employed in a sensual, worldly manner, or in amusements. He was in a serious, heavenly, spiritual frame, under the gracious influences of the Spirit of God. Those who would enjoy communion with God on the Lord's day, must seek to draw their thoughts and affections from earthly things. And if believers are kept on the Lord's holy day, from public ordinances and the communion of saints, by necessity and not by choice, they may look for comfort in meditation and secret duties, from the influences of the Spirit; and by hearing the voice and contemplating the glory of their beloved Saviour, from whose gracious words and power no confinement or outward circumstances can separate them. An alarm was given as with the sound of the trumpet, and then the apostle heard the voice of Christ.

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us...
the handwriting of requirements

"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us,

which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way,
having nailed it to the cross".

the last chapter of the last book of the Bible teaches:

"Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to
the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city" (Revelation 22:14).

Since it is only "those who do His commandments...{who} have the right
to enter...the city" , the ten commandments could not be "contrary to us."

Actually, it is only those who will not keep the ten commandments that are denied access.
Revelation specifically shows that those who break one of at least four of
the ten commandments will be outside God's city (Revelation 22:15).

the ten commandments were not "nailed to the cross," what was?
Look again at what the Bible actually says (two translations):

14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us,
which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way,
having nailed it to the cross (Colossians 2:14, NKJV)

14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us,
which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way,
having nailed it to the cross.. (Colossians 2:14, NASB)

The handwriting of requirements (often also called the hand-writing of ordinances)
or certificate of debt was wiped away and nailed to the stake, which some call a cross

Which requirements were wiped out?

the expression "the handwriting of requirements" (cheirógrafon toís dógmasin)
is a Greek legal expression that signifies the penalty which a lawbreaker had to pay

--it does not signify the laws that are to be obeyed--only the penalty. It is only through
the acceptance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that the penalty was wiped out
("the handwriting of requirements").

But only the penalty, not the law!

Even some Protestant commentators realize this is so.
Notice what Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible states about Colossians 2:14:

Whatever was in force against us is taken out of the way. He has obtained for us
a legal discharge from the hand-writing of ordinances, which was against us (v. 14),
which may be understood,

1. Of that obligation to punishment in which consists the guilt of sin. The curse of the law is
the hand-writing against us, like the hand-writing on Belshazzar's wall. Cursed is every one
who continues not in every thing. This was a hand-writing which was against us, and contrary
to us; for it threatened our eternal ruin.

This was removed when he redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us,
Gal 3:13. (from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible: New Modern Edition,
Electronic Database. Copyright (c) 1991 by Hendrickson Publishers, Inc.).

In addition, let us look at the Greek term exaleipho translated as "wiped out" in Colossians 2:14:

NT:1813
exaleipho (ex-al-i'-fo); from NT:1537 and NT:218; to smear out, i.e. obliterate (erase tears, figuratively, pardon sin) (Biblesoft's New Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance
with Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary. Copyright (c) 1994, Biblesoft and International
Bible Translators, Inc.)

In other words, exaleipho has to do with wiping out sin. This is also confirmed in Acts 3:19
where Peter also uses the term exaleipho, which is translated as "blotted out" below:

19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

Hence, it is sin and the related penalties that are to be blotted or wiped out.
And the penalties could vary from "being unclean to the evening" (Leviticus 11:24-28)
to making an offering (Leviticus 5:5-6) to being "cut off from his people" (Leviticus 7:27)
to the death penalty (Exodus 31:14).

This is also confirmed elsewhere in the New Testament:

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us
(Galatians 3:13). The curse of the law is related to the penalty. And Jesus paid it.

But what about the law of God? Was the law of God to be wiped out? No:

17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets.
I did not come to destroy but to fulfill (Matthew 5:17)

While some erroneously think that Jesus, for example, did away with the Ten Commandments
by how He led His life, that most certainly was not the view of the early Christians who
continued to keep them[Paul included]

Furthermore, remember that the Bible clearly teaches that sin is lawlessness:

Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that
He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. (I John 3:4-5).

Notice that Paul wrote:

Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not!
How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? (Romans 6:1-2).

Thus the New Testament makes clear that the law of God continues,
thus it was not nailed to the cross or somehow wiped out.

The Bible, however, also shows that the requirements of the Levitical priesthood
(Hebrews 9:1,6-10) sometimes called the law, which were part of the penalty of sin,
were blotted out.

And why?

"For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins...
By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus
once for all" (Hebrews 10:4,10).

Jesus' one sacrifice was and is sufficient--we do not have to sacrifice animals any more!

Another requirement (which is related) would be the death penalty of sin,
as "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"
(Romans 6:23) or other specific ceremonial penalties associated with the Old Testament
statutes (such as making a sin offering, being put outside the camp, or washing).

Romans 14...

Rom 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
The first thing we see here is that this chapter is about relating to a weak brother.

Rom 14:2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

The subject here? Vegetarianism

Rom 14:3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth
not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

So, if you encounter one who is weak in the faith and believes he must eat vegetables only,
don’t let this puff you up…

2Co 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some
that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing
themselves among themselves, are not wise.

What is the gold standard here?

1Pe 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us,
leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God,
unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Rom 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth
or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Now to the meat and potatoes…

Rom 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike.
Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
Rom 14:6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day,
to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks;
and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

Why is eating and fasting (not eating) connected to days here? Let’s see…

Luk 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee,
that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
Luk 18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

From Bullingers Companion Bible…

Luke 18:12

twice in the week. The law prescribed only one in the year (Lev_16:29. Num_29:7).
By the time of Zec_8:19 there were four yearly fasts.
In our Lord's day they were bi-weekly (Monday and Thursday), between Passover and Pentecost;
and between the Feast of Tabernacles and the Dedication.

Yes they fasted two days a week, Monday and Thursday, EVERY MONDAY and EVERY THURSDAY.

Rom 14:7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
Rom 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord:
whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
Rom 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both
of the dead and living.
Rom 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?
for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
Rom 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess to God.
Rom 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Rom 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather,
that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
Rom 14:14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself:
but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
Rom 14:15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably.
Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

Now Paul shifts his attention to meat offered to idols. At the time, meat and drink were offered
to pagan idols. After it was offered it was sold in a meat market called the ‘Shambles’.

1Co 10:25 Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:

Shambles…

There were those who were weak in the faith (verse 1) who were offended by this.
They somehow thought that eating that food was somehow connecting them with the
idolatrous practices around them. This is why the following is written…

Rom 14:16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
Rom 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness,
and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Meat here is…

Drinking, can be alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. Paul was dealing with ascetism
and the belief that doing without was somehow a show of character.
He dealt with this issue at Colossae also…

Col 2:21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
Col 2:22 Which all are to perish with the using after the commandments and doctrines of men?
Col 2:23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility,

Rom 14:18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
Rom 14:19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace,
and things wherewith one may edify another.
Rom 14:20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure;
but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.

The word for meat here is broma, from Thayer’s…

Again, we are dealing with food.

Rom 14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby
thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

So, it is not dealing with clean and unclean, but with flesh (meat) and wine (drink)
that makes a weak brother stumble.

Rom 14:22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God.
Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
Rom 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith:
for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

There is no passage in Rom 14 that deals with the Sabbath or clean and unclean meats.
The subjects are vegetarianism, fasting and food and drink offered to idols.

27 And he said to them,
The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
Yes it is a shame that people do not take advantage of a [Gift] that God made for man

Jeremiah 10:23

O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself:
it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

there is not a single verse that says the lords day is sunday now or never will.
this is false doctrine and a man made tradation.

comming to a planet near [or on] real soon to this evil generation living today.

There is no day that is the Sabbath now but Jesus Himself -
what proof do you have for the tradaitions you follow?

The Catholic Encyclopedia reported:

“Sunday is our mark or authority...the church is above the Bible, and this transference
of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.” Catholic Record of London, Ontario, September 1, 1923.

or this statement

We also send you the good news of the settlement concerning the holy pasch, namely that in answer to your prayers this question also has been resolved. All the brethren in the East who have hitherto followed the Jewish practice will henceforth observe the custom of the Romans and of yourselves and of all of us (who from ancient times) have kept Easter together with you.[13]

funny people they celebrate still a custom that started way before Christ died for our sins.

Hi, I am trying to keep God's Holy day in the correct way, I do not go to a church because there are only two churches in the village in which I live and although I have been asked to join one of them, they do not keep God's Holy day on a Saturday.

I wondered if any one else have the same problem, and if so what you do.
We are no longer under the old covenant- including the Ten Commandments- which includes the physical sabbath day rest. If you read Romans 7:1-4 you'll see that being under Moses and under Christ at the same time is commiting spiritual adultery. Christ has ALL authority over God's people today (Matt28:18)- that leaves no authority for even Moses.

What about the apostles then? Christ commanded them to teach us everything that He commanded them to- therefore it is Christ's teaching and the apostles only delivered it. Therefore the New Testament is Christ's teachings.

Does that mean that we can do the things that the Ten Commandments said not to do? No, God's law does not change, however the way we obey it has changed. In the Old Testament they obeyed God's law physically, but in the New Testament we obey God's law spiritually.

Whats the difference? Let me give you a couple examples. In the Old Testament they obeyed the Sabbath by physically resting on a physical day (Saturday). But in the New Testament we rest spiritually in our hearts and minds knowing that we are going to heaven, and that that rest will be eternal. This is the "peace that surpasses understanding". This is why only a Christian can understand why Paul was beaten and in prison, yet was singing with joy. Also David killed his tens of thousands, but Ephesians six says our battle is no longer against flesh and blood.

If you obey the Mosaic law, you have to obey all of it- including paying for items with certain animals instead of money, and stoning a sinner to death outside the city.

Are you Jewish or Israeli? If not, the Sabbath Commandment was a sign of the Covenant between GOD and Israel.

Exodus 31:16-17 (NKJV)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.
[SUP]17 [/SUP] It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.' "

Jesus reiterated 9 of the ten commandments throughout His earthly ministry. Guess which one He did not reiterate. We are not part of the Covenant between GOD and Isael. We have a New Covenant, a Better Covenant.

Luke 22:20 (NASB)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.

Hebrews 8:6 (ASV)

[SUP]6 [/SUP] But now hath he obtained a ministry the more excellent, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been enacted upon better promises.

So what justifies a change in the Law?

OOPS, I hit Post Quick Reply before I was finished, here is the rest of the above post.

Hebrews 7:12-22 (ESV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the law as well.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]For the one of whom these things are spoken belonged to another tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, and in connection with that tribe Moses said nothing about priests.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]This becomes even more evident when another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek,
[SUP]16 [/SUP]who has become a priest, not on the basis of a legal requirement concerning bodily descent, but by the power of an indestructible life.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]For it is witnessed of him, “You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.”
[SUP]18 [/SUP]For on the one hand, a former commandment is set aside because of its weakness and uselessness
[SUP]19 [/SUP](for the law made nothing perfect); but on the other hand, a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]And it was not without an oath. For those who formerly became priests were made such without an oath,
[SUP]21 [/SUP]but this one was made a priest with an oath by the one who said to him: “The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, ‘You are a priest forever.’”
[SUP]22 [/SUP]This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant.

DID HE THEN GIVE US A NEW WORSHIP COMMANDMENT?

HE SURE DID:

Hebrews 10:23-25 (HCSB)
[SUP]23 [/SUP]Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works,
[SUP]25 [/SUP]not staying away from our ⌊worship⌋ meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

But in the New Testament we rest spiritually in our hearts and minds
knowing that we are going to heaven, and that that rest will be eternal.
This is the "peace that surpasses understanding".
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
the peace we are promised is [not going to be in heaven], but here on earth- at that future time

Isaiah 14:7 (KJV)
The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.

Psalms 37:11 (KJV)
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Daniel 7:22 (KJV)
Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High;
and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Daniel 7:18 (KJV)
But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom,
and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

-a person would have to be inmortal not human

Daniel 7:27 (KJV)
And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven,
shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting
kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

The second coming is in actuality a continuation of the first.

Luk 4:17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias.
And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me
to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted,
to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Luk 4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Luk 4:20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down.
And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

He stop reading just there, close the book, and sit down?

Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me
to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Isa 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,

And here is where He stopped reading in mid sentence.
Now the passage He quoted continues...

and [the day of vengeance] of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

Isa 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty
for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD,
that he might be glorified.

Isa 61:4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations,
and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
Isa 61:5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall
be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
Isa 61:6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers
of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.

Isa 61:7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their
portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

He came the first time to complete Isa 61:1-2 but not all of verse 2.
When He returns, He will complete verse 2 and forward through verse 7.

He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country
to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

Are you Jewish or Israeli?
Me and the children of Israel forever

Matthew 15:24 (KJV)
But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

The promises and the covenants of God, all the sonship and the glory,
belong sole to Israel (Romans 9:4).

-
What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
Much every way:chiefly, because that unto them

were committed [the oracles of God]. Romans 3:2

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need
that one teach you again which be the first principles of

[the oracles of God]; and are become such as have
need of milk, and not of strong meat. Hebrews 5:12

If any man speak, let him speak as [the oracles of God];
if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth:

that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ,
to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:11

- Israel ? they are [still] on this earth- you yourself could be a physical decendent

recap of God’s Promises to Abrahams seed, or physical descendants
¦Genesis 12:1-2 | God promises Abraham that his descendants will become a great nation.
¦Genesis 17:1-6 | God promises Abraham will be a father of many nations, not just one.
¦Genesis 22:16-18 | God promises that the birthright nations among Abraham’s descendants
will possess the gates (access points) of their enemies.
¦Genesis 26:3-5 | God promises the birthright nations will multiply as the stars of heaven.
¦Genesis 27:26-29 promises the birthright nations will become wealthy and rule over other nations.
¦Genesis 28:13-14 | God promises that the birthright nations will spread worldwide.
¦Genesis 35:11 |promises that the birthright nations will become “a nation and a company of nations.”

Genesis 48, Abraham’s grandson Jacob—whom God renamed Israel—
specifically assigned his name to Ephraim and Manasseh,

saying that one of these descendants would become a “great” people,
and that the other would become a “multitude of nations” .

“By myself have I sworn, saith the [Eternal],
because thou hast done, not withheld thy only son

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will
multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand
which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gates of
his enemies.

- - -

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee,
that thou shalt be no priest to me:

seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them.
O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
-

This cup is the [new testament] in my blood:
Jesus changed the symbles of the passover only, did not do away with it.
