Why has the mainstream church become a powerless church?

Come in the front door greeted by smiling people holding the door for you. Grab you coffee and engage in pleasantries with someone you know. Go sit in the seat you always sit in. Opening song...(probably a secular rock song by tom petty or the foo fighters.) Announcements about upcoming events about descending on your city to paint old ladies decks for them. 25 minutes of worship with cool lights and fog machines....40 minutes of sermon....leave your check in the box on your way out the door.
Apostasy.
Every denomination is subject to a powerless ministry if they become apostate. When the man in the pulpit does not believe the bible is the word of God but "contains" the word of God all Gods power departs.
The folks in the pews allow it to happen.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Personally. I think they need to repurpose their buildings to take care of widows and orphans. They can use their giant auditoriums to generate revenue by having actual rock concerts... Then...instead of running their personal business's from their church desk while collecting a church salary...they just concentrate on their other business ventures.
Well obviously the Christians have to be worshipping the only real God since he gives them powers. Obviously the non-Christians gods are all false because they got no powers.
What I mean is the Bible says the Christians got all these powers, so like; where are the real Christians that I read about in the Bible? Why would I waste my time with some powerless church that you yourselves say have no power, they are apostates, they are either not hip or they try too hard to be hip, they worship doctrines of man, that Jesus doesn't recognize them, etc. etc.? I mean the Tom Petty covers sounded a little intriguing, but I can listen Tom Petty right now on youtube.
