I am not your enemy either. as far as the other things you said about yourself, well that is not for me to say.

I will, however, say this- as usual did not address my question about the two statements you made. the statements YOU made, not me. as usual, you gave me a lecture. it seems you have this attitude that you are superior and anyone who questions you is inferior, and you need to correct and educate with double-talk randomness about feelings and emotions, which have nothing to do with the original question.

this is arrogant and rude behavior, and it should stop. nothing personal, just bad behavior.
That's the very reason why Romans 16:17 and 1 Cor.15:33 along with Hebrews 12:15 is important in these kind of matters.

Avoiding them like Paul said to do is well worth it until we see their behavior reflect repentance.

Communication

Love, mothers love, father love, brotherly love, sisterly love.

9 words. But each person will have their own meanings and experience of these
words.

The power of anything anyone adds relies on common meanings and experiences
the listener and the speaker have in common. The further away they are, the less
they click. It fascinates me this power, because it dominates life and everything we
experience and talk about here.

You only know its power when two people discover the divergent views they have
of the same words. Each is convinced their version is the version.

For me it takes real love to learn this and to start to bridge the gap. Some cannot
be bridged except through had knocks in life, and assumptions removed and tough
times had. Today people have so few tough times, the emotional linguistic background
is often very shallow. It is why debates go so quickly astray, because there never was
really a meeting of hearts and minds, and each sees what is obvious to them.

But in Christ I have real hope, because He spent eternity making eternity possible
for us, and I love Him, and daily learn how much deeper He is than I can imagine, Amen.

Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd,
were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was
sitting by the roadside begging.

When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout,
“Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more,

“Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.”

So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” 50
Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.

“What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him.

The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”

“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.”

Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
Mark 10:46-52

Bartimaeus reminds me of me. I was blind but now I see.
Some may ask, but how do you see?
I asked the Lord and He gave me sight.

I have met people who jump up and want to proclaim their insights and truths,
but they are too fond of their status and what proclaiming and attention gives them.

But if Christ has given you your sight, no one can take it away, Amen.
So take heart, because in Christ we have our salvation and love, freedom from sin,
and victory of death. What a glorious reality, yet few make it past the first few
steps.

In the uk we have mountains, small ones. A mile from the car parks there is often
a lot of activity, but only a few ever go further and make the peaks.

If you are sharing for those who strive to make the peak in Christ, you will never find
that many listeners.

"Holiness is His special gift to His believing people. Holiness is the work He carries on in their hearts, by the Spirit whom He puts within them. He is appointed a Prince and a Savior, to give repentance as well as remission of sins. To as many as receive Him—He gives power to become sons of God. Holiness does not come by blood—parents cannot give it to their children. Holiness does not come by the will of the flesh—man cannot produce it in himself. Holiness does not comes by the will of man—ministers cannot give it you by baptism. Holiness comes from Christ! It is the result of vital union with Him. It is the fruit of being a living branch of the true vine" - J. C. Ryle

What does amaze me is how contributors try to refute the word of God, as if their
logic is greater than the Lord on High.

Take the Levites from among all the Israelites and make them ceremonially clean. 7 To purify them, do this: Sprinkle the water of cleansing on them; then have them shave their whole bodies and wash their clothes. And so they will purify themselves.
Num 8:6-7
Ceremonial clean are used as shadows and types that declare the gospel of Christ, in themselves they do nothing for the conscience of men. God looks upon the heart. The faith tradition.

Purification is to make something Holy.
Made as in created a new, set aside for the purposes of God.

Mount Gerizim was made Holy yet the dirt that makes it up is no different than mount Ebal. One represents the work of His hand of mercy, as a blessing, the other withholds the hand of mercy, as a curse .

These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali. Deu 27:12

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

For seven days make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will be most holy, and whatever touches it will be holy.Exodus 29:37

He is the altar which is Holy makes other things holy by just touching it.

So simply the definitions of what is Holy and what is not is given by God and not man.

Again ceremonial holy, God does not have a literal finger touched by a work of faith (the unseen glory)..

It is up to the reader to decide their choice, and the Lord will hold us accountable.
Its really up to God who makes things holy as he works in them to both will and do His good pleasure. He chose us in Him from the foundation of the world.

I choose the mercy of God that comes from Christ’s work of faith as he gives me His grace, the reward of His work to make it all possible to please Him .

He promises that if he has begun the good work of salvation in us he will finish it to the end.

Can we have the faith of Christ in respect to our own selves seeing if any man has not the Spirit of Christ then neither do they belong to Him. Some believe they work to receive salvation others believe we work out the salvation he freely gives as a gift.

Can we serve two masters. grace and works ?

Can we serve two masters. grace and works ?
We were created in Christ for good works.
It is grace that brought us to this place.

So I do not understand the question, sorry?

To me I stand today blessed, overwhelmed. I started this road not sure
I could be called holy, pure, redeemed, purified, but now I know I can.

And all it took was asking and looking, putting together the dots, and
spending time with God.

What I have discovered is God wants us to be specific and to know our problems
and walk openly in the light with Him and with His people. As people of the light
He has gifted us to help one another.
