This devotional reading is important for all of us to take to heart and to rely on Jesus only for life. Jesus is not against His children having "things" - He is against "things " having His children. Christ Himself is our source of life.

It is possible to have an abundance of money to buy more stuff and yet we can still be living shallow and deprived lives. We can also have little money and still be in the same boat. The true life is in Christ and what He has already done because He alone is our life and true provider for all things to be enjoyed by those who know the truth.

Trust completely in Jesus

The Bible tells us clearly not to put our trust in money. Our eyes should never be on money and money should never be our goal.

It is unwise to put your trust in uncertain riches. Rather, turn your eyes upon and put your trust completely in the person of Jesus.

Don’t make the mistake of pursuing the provision and missing the Provider. The Word declares that it is the Lord who gives and provides us all that we need for our enjoyment.

Beloved, when you have Jesus, you have everything. You have peace, righteousness, forgiveness, wisdom, health, power, provision, favor and every blessing. Now, this is true prosperity and good success.

So anchor yourself on Him and not on material things, and enjoy the security and unshakable peace that is found only in Jesus!

How much of that post is from Joseph Prince? Is that the Joseph PRINCE...? I'll check.
Kings and queens, princes and princesses giving such advice to their citizenry and from whom they rely on and market to remains detestable to me. Let those peddlers sell just half their goods, give the money to the poor (widows and fatherless) in their congregations, and then go and follow Jesus.

The Dear Father knows we need to see Him move the mountains in our life. He knows we are but dust and we need to see His hand in our lives. There is not an option for me to say "When You don't" because He always does. And for the times that He doesn't do it right away., I'm believing the answer is on it's way so I'm thanking Him as I go. He has been my Rock because He promises to be and He also has been gracious enough to give the answers when I ask. I never will say He doesn't because He always does. Thank You Jesus.

Thee Joseph PRINCE it is. Thought so.
Looking for the day when he will sell not ALL but just half of all his wealth and give to the poor in his church.
If he can collect from the poor, certainly he can give of his own to the poor. Just half. Not all. Just half of his wealth to the poor.

Our lives and the lives of others are not to be measured in the amount of money or worldly goods God may bless or not bless us with. So while you may be angry at seeing the wealth of other believers you should not look upon their blessings as who they are. We are supposed to look at the One who blesses not the things He may bless us or others with.

We do not know how the Father may be blessing His other children. So since we don't know why some are blessed financially and some are not., we should never judge with our limited human abilities. Some are dealing with illness and we are not to judge that in a persons life either as if they have sinned and "deserve" what they may have "sowed". This is terribly wrong to do to another believer. We do not know the details of a person's life to that degree. And so it is wrong to judge others for being "blessed" or for not being "blessed".

Learning to let God be God in all areas of life is also accepting that for His own reasons His people have or don't have things for reasons we are not privy to. It's a sad thing when another believer allows jealousy and judgment to rear it's ugly head in their lives. We are to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. We don't withhold those reactions based on our judgment as to who "deserves" our proper and obedient behavior. We are not responsible for their lives of obedience, we are only responsible for our own obedience.

We are called to love one another as Christ has loved us. When we judge our brothers and sisters in Christ we are not loving them., we are judging them. The Holy Spirit is well capable to deal with each one of us personally.

This is not a local church matter where we may possibly know intimate details of our friends lives and have opportunity to hold them accountable out of love and responsibility. This is a matter where we see from a far off. We have no idea what God is doing in the lives of those He chooses to put before the world.

Since the Bible says in Romans 8:1 There is there fore now NO condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."..., how can we be indignant to condemn our brethren and not only among each other but to do it before the whole world?

I'm not God so I don't know what everyone in the body of Christ is doing nor am I called to tell others what to do. I suppose anyone could say that same request to all of us at any given time in our lives. Have all of us given 1/2 of what we own right now to the poor? Take what you have right now and give it to the poor - we could say that to every one.

Romans 14:4 (NASB)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

If you could just keep your comments to the OP's message and not be judging what others should be doing - even though we have no idea what they are really doing in their life.

Do you have anything that will bring life to what is being said in the OP? We would welcome that encouragement. Thanks.

You can pat the PRINCE on the back. You can shroud such a consent to error, to sin, by simple generalities and by ignoring what is most evident, but the facts are the facts. And I standby my statements.

Let's see..... he's no longer receiving a salary as pastor, but gets donations galore & is megarich.

The Bible says "freely you've been given, freely give.

The only honest televangelist is one that reveals their earnings and their giving.

Trying to remember when any of them said they gave to the poor here in the US..... I think it's NONE.

I would feel better if one of them did give to a godly charity..... it would show them being an example of a good steward.

So much for dreaming.....

It's time for us to grow up and stop acting like baby Christians.

The behavior below shows our true age in the Lord. It doesn't matter how long we have been a Christian, been pastoring a church for 40 years, can read Greek and Hebrew, go to church every day.

This shows our true age and it's time for all of us to grow up.

1 Peter 2:1-2 (NASB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander,

[SUP]2 [/SUP] like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,

Of course not, but you should be a good steward & find out before you back him.

You just confessed you know nothing about Joseph Prince, but you spread his teachings as if he's purer than the driven snow.

If you hadn't used PRINCE - who's made millions off the backs of hardworking people and then who gives advice to the same about material wealth, yet he himself cherishes every last penny of his - then I would have no reason or grounds to stand on.
You use his words. I responded to his words and the evident hypocrisy therein.

Look past who said it. What do you disagree with in the OP's message?

Just imagine that your pastor gave the OP's message. What part of the message do you disagree with?

I saw no such confession. Is it possible for you to stop misrepresenting yourself and others? I am sure many people would appreciate it.

What part of the OP is slop?

We should let money rule us? Money is the heart of our happiness?

The blessing is more important than the blessor?

I don't understand the part of the message you disagree with.
