Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
Mat 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
This is the only thing Jesus says about Jerusalem,and it is because the disciples said look at these lovely buildings,and Jesus said they are coming down,and then speaks to them of the end of the world,and His coming back.
Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
These things can only be known if the saints can view what the world is doing,which can only be done with technology as today.
Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
The saints shall be hated of all nations,the whole world,when they are in rebellion mode worldwide against the operation of God.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
The Gospel shall be preached in to all the world,the whole world.
Zec 12:1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
Zec 12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
All the people of the earth shall be gathered together against Israel,the whole world.
Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
God will gather all nations together against Israel,the whole world.In 70 A.D. God allowed the Roman Empire to overthrow Jerusalem,and scatter them in the nations,and did not go against them for He was punishing Israel for the rejection of Christ,but in this battle God goes against them,and puts them down.
Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
The beast has power over the whole earth,and all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,the whole world,who is not on Jesus' side.
Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
Babylon is responsible for all that were slain upon the earth,but how can this be so when Babylon in physical dominion only ruled for so long,and this is because it is Babylon in spirit,for she represents the kingdom of man,which a person either belongs to Babylon,the kingdom of man,or the kingdom of God,so all the wicked belong to Babylon through all history.
The Bible states in Matthew 24,and other places,that it is the whole world,so how can they possibly place it in the first century.
