Should we wait for the devil, or is it time to begin building Ezekiel's Temple?

When and if we search as for silver and gold for the spiritual understanding is hid in parables ,it show us that the temporal as that which the eyes see ( earthly Jerusalem) is used as a shadow to see the unseen eternal (law of faith) the new heavenly Jerusalem, the bride of Christ .

God in parables uses the measurement, dimensions of men as a metaphor or shadow to point to residents of the eternal city not seen . The new name he named His people Christian.. with no other meaning added means residents of that city of Christ .the new heavenly Jerusalem not seen .

And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the "measure of a man", that is, of the angel. Rev 21:15

We do not measure faith by the measurements of men . he gives the meaning to the words.

No temple, no veil, no Sun, no moon. as time keepers

And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.Rev 21:22

Again we walk by faith the unseen eternal not by sight after that seen the temporal as shadows of the true substance... the bride of Christ the church .

2Co 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Every born again יְהוּדִּי knows clearly , that the prophet Daniel was shown after 70ad there will be no physical reconstruction of a third temple built in Jerusalem , but desolations are determined Daniel 9. The man of lawlessness in 2 Thessalonians , is not sitting in a physical temple built in Jerusalem made of stone. But he sits within the body of belivers in Christ Jesus , declaring himself as the head of all the churches "Papal seat in vatican ".

The New Jerusalem written upon in revelation 21 has no temple , Jesus Christ never gave His flock 'Jews & Gentiles" a permit to build a third temple in the land of Israel. The prophet Ezekiel instruction were determine if the people heart would turn back to God .

One more thing to note , thee prophet Ezekiel instruction were determine if the people heart would turn back to God . But these instruction have been overturn when Messiah went to the cross. Now all those that belive in Messiah , are waiting patiently for Him and for the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.


The Apostles of Jesus Christ all understood with clarity while the second temple was still standing before them.

That is why it is written in Hebrews 14For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

I believe that the Temple was promised on condition of Israels full obedience to God. The main purpose of Ezekiels ministry was to turn Israel away from idolatry and disobedience. This didn't happen then and it still hasn't happened now. I dont believe this particular Temple will be built. If it is it will no longer have anything to do with God. Christ ended the sacrificial system through his death and resurrection and I cant understand why any Christian would want one to be constructed. I also see the Ezekiel Temple as being Symbolic of the New Spiritual Jerusalem. John through the Holy Spirits Guidence used Ezekiel as a major basis for the writing of Revelation which teaches truth through OT types and symbols. The book of Revelation is partially based on the book of Ezekiel from beginning to end. The temple is a physical description of the New Jerusalem and the Heavenly Court of God. All Temples described in the Bible are types and shadows of Gods spiritual dwelling place in Heaven. That's why centuries have passed since the days of Ezekiel yet his vision of the Temple have never become a reality.

In the OT visions were described to people who first received them in terms that were familiar to them so the dwelling place of God was described as a Temple together with all that took place in a temple. The New testament writings including Revelation were given to explain and clarify the Old Testament. The greatest mistake made is to reverse this and to use the Old Testament to explain the contents of the New. This leads to distortion and confusion. many of the arguments and debates on this site are caused by this misuse of the scriptures which are a progressive revelation of Gods plan of redemption.

Rev 11:1-2 is not a parable...It is in plain language. Rev 11:1-2 tells us the third temple will be built and what it looks like plus Daniel 9:27 tells us when it will be built. When the "Anti-Christ" enforces the covenant (agreement) between Israel and "Death and Hell"

Should we wait today for the devil when he deigns to build a copy of the former Jerusalem Temple in Jerusalem, or should we turn to God with all our heart and then the book of the prophet Ezekiel will show us how and where we should build this Messianic Temple?

The one-time outward demonstration of the Holy Spirit not seen is over. No promise for coming twice in the flesh . The veil is rent indicating the promise Christ would put on the temporal flesh of man had come. It destroyed temple life now that the believer as a new creature acts to represent or signify the temple of God . We see God who remains without form by the eye of faith. It is the eye by which all do see him by faith just as ears to hear what him not seen is saying to the churches. Even though some did know Christ after the temporal flesh as an outward one-time demonstration. When asked by doubting Thomas to touch the flesh which he informs us in John 6 the things seen flesh and blood cannot profit. Jesus said to Thomas be not faithless (no faith) But believe as an anchor to one's soul.

God is not a man as us never was never could be. Creations have a beginnings and a end of spirit life. Eternal Supernatural (no natures) God has none.
