There is no end of the world, only an end of the age, and that was the Mosaic Age.

Can you give me one scripture,

That says there is a resurrection for you and for me?

2 Peter 3:10

Locutus,

Fulfilled in 70 ad or not fulfilled yet?

Which comes first, the resurrection then the "burning?

Or the "burning" and then the resurrection?

What you have said above is not true Locutus. The end of the age will take place when the Lord returns to the earth after the tribulation period as demonstrated in the following scripture:

"He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.

Therefore, how could the end of the age only refer to the Mosaic age, when Jesus was obviously speaking of a future time in referring to the end of the age.

The end of the age is depicted in Dan.2:31-45 when the statue, which represents human government, is smashed by the Rock (Jesus) and blown away without leaving a trace (end of human government). Then the Rock that falls on the feet of the statue fills the entire earth, which is representing Christ's millennial kingdom.

The "burning" will take place ~1000 years after the 'resurrection'.

We need to answer a basic question or two. When, and from where, does Christ reign and over who and for how long? Also, what does it mean to have eternal life? Once a believer accepts Christ he receives eternal life, correct? Does this mean when he dies physically that he is no longer alive and must wait for the resurrection? Are souls in heaven alive? Is Christ in heaven and is He alive?

Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Last questions, in the above where are these beheaded souls located, are these souls dead or alive and have they already been resurrected and if so, how did John see their souls?

[SUP]30 [/SUP]Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. [SUP]31 [/SUP]And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. [SUP]32 [/SUP]He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. [SUP]33 [/SUP]And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

When did or does Jesus' eternal reign begin? It clearly doesn't end. Therefore why do some believe Christ's kingdom only lasts 1,000 years? What does Daniel 7 say?

And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him. [SUP]14 [/SUP]Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed.

When do we Christians from every nation, peoples and languages begin to serve Him? Are we serving Him now? If not, why not? So, when did or does the above begin? Clearly it never ends? Is Christ, after 2,000 years, still waiting to be given His everlasting kingdom? If He is not yet King, can we be serving Him?

Psalm 96

1 O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

That verse is in Revelation 20.. Jesus return happens just before this in the latter part of Revelation 19.. So these are reasurected Saints who shall reighn with Jesus on the earth for a 1000 years before the final reasurection at the final judgement.. John was seeing their reasurected living bodies..

You have a misunderstanding.. The Kingdom of Jesus will never end.. The 1000 years is simply referring to the time between the resurrection of Jesus and the final judgement.. During this 1000 Year period Jesus will be ruling on earth with His Saints.. So normal human beings on earth.. who will survive the great tribulation and the battle of Armageddon will be being rules By Jesus and His Saints..

Now at the end of these 1000 years satan will be released from the pit to go out and decieve the world (normal peoples NOT the Saints) then God will destroy that final rebellion and then the final judgement will take place.. That is when the world will be made new and the create city called the New Jerusalem will come out of Heaven and down to earth and all those resurrected unto eternal life will live with God and have access to the New Jerusalem for ever and ever...

Do once Jesus returns His dominion will be everlasting.. Just as Gods dominion has been from everlasting to everlasting.. So Christ at this time has a Kingdom.. it is a Spiritual kingdom populated by living and dead Saints who are waiting for the transformation into the 1000 Year physical Kingdom that will undergo another transformation at the end of the 1000 years.

That is a very common misconception. John didn't say that he saw resurrected bodies. He saw SOULS. Christ is reigning from heaven right now and He reigns with the physically dead, spiritually alive saints RIGHT NOW. Christ's kingdom was given to Him by the Father upon His return to heaven. These passages go together:

Acts 1: [SUP]9 [/SUP]Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

Dan 7: And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven!

These "clouds" (innumerable company of angels) which received Him up in Acts 1, brings Him to the Father in Dan 7. At this time, the Father gives the Kingdom to Christ and He reigns FOREVER!! You see Christ is reigning over us all RIGHT NOW!! He reigns over Jacob and He reigns over the Gentiles.

Luke 1:33

And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

Romans 5:17

...those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Romans 15:12

And again, Isaiah says: “There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope.”

1 Corinthians 4:8
You are already full! You are already rich! You have reigned as kings without us—and indeed I could wish you did reign, that we also might reign with you!

You see we believers (whether in heaven or here on earth) are ALREADY REIGNING WITH CHRIST. The 1,000 years simply means a long period of time. Christ is reigning with the beheaded souls in heaven for a very long time before He returns. The resurrection and judgment happen on the LAST DAY, the very last day of this EARTH.

The Great Tribulation was LONG AGO. It happened from 66 to 70 AD. It dealt only with Israel. Only those in Judea were told to flee.
