If Christ came with a whole load of gold bullion and just bought everyone,
that is the equivalent of penal substitution.

All you do is move people from one physical location to another.
This is worse than the pharisees who made an effort of dressing up the
change. Which is worse, leaving everything asis, or faking it?
Only those who basically are happy with their lives asis would buy the
get special privileges with Jesus line.

And if you say or accept we do change, why not the whole show, why not
Christ actually brought us righteousness so we could walk in the loving right
way. The whole point of pharisees is they just appeared to want this but they
hated Jesus and God.

And when people reject this message, it makes me wonder how much do they
really love God, and do they know what sin is, or is it not offering biscuits to
ones guests?

The Luther myth is that Jesus paid for your sins..However their is no payment for sin, for the wages of sin is death..The truth of the matter is that Jesus purchased our souls at Calvary via His blood Covenant, Heb. 9, through ransom giving His life voluntarily, thus binding the strong man and his goods (sin). In doing so HE justified the mercy and forgiveness that the Father always wanted to extend. Therefore a New Testament/Covenant could be established with the gracious empowerment of the Spirit to save people FROM their sin ,and not in their sin sin...The payment for sin myth seeks to circumvent Covenant through reconciliation by way of ransom by attempting to save souls while still in their sins, that is why it is so popular (they make Jesus into God's whipping boy. How Blasphemous!) .....Moral Government Theology is closer to the truth than Penal Substitution, however it too is still lacking in light of Covenant Theology that purges the heart and establishes a commitment to holiness through Covenant.

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. How is this done via the empowerment of the Spirit, (grace) Titus 2:11-14

I have always found the equation logic, debt and payment theology just too academic.

But love is often something we do not understand until it is right in front of us and obvious.
Our excuse in life is no one loves me, I am alone, I am hurt, someone has to pay.
We are not innocent, we have done harm, sin, so the only thing that will bring us back is
forgiveness of the evil we have done, and knowing we are loved, deeper and more fully than
we can ever imagine. This is the payment, the cost that was the only way back, to prove
though the Lord could judge us, wants us back, wants us to know Him and be with Him.

Now for this to make any sense, we need to believe Jesus and His intention and apply it to
our lives. The whole point is establishing a living relationship, a flow of love from His heart
to ours and on to those we meet everyday.

Researching the roots of the Penal Substitution Myth founded in the Catholic Church a 1000 years after Christ, then morphed into a an even more monstrous heresy by Luther & Calvin who were godless persecutors of the saints.

Imputed righteousness is in the Bible not an invention of Martin Luther.

Remission of sins

Propitiation

Terms people should all examine
