In absolute truth I have found that more than not, non believers are far more loving than believers.

Why is your profile pic of homer in a devil outfit? Just curious.

And probably because there are many fans of Jesus but few true followers

No no really, why are so many non believers more Christian than Christians.

This is a complete overgeneralzation. I know the most wonderful, loving and caring Christians you could imagine. Some of these people volunteer and are involved in ministries from stopping sex trafficking to feeding street people, caring for single mother's children when they work, feeding poor children lunch, volunteering in hospitals and a million other ministries. Plus, they are also nice on the outside.

I don't think anyone is saying that non-Christians can't be nice. But, when you find one of these super nice non-believers and you get into a conversation with them, you will often find they were raised in Christian families, where they learned the basics on how to love others as yourself.

One last thing that comes to mind, is that there are many Christians who came to Christ from very abusive or hostile backgrounds. They have never had it modeled what a Christian is supposed to look like. So they bring in some worldly habits into their Christian walk. God will change them, but sometimes it takes a while. So, you need to think of what the end product will look like when God is done with them.

Oh, yes, then there is physical pain, or bad moods. My pain had been through the roof lately, and I did not even care what I said. I know that is wrong, but I was frustrated to death for a while. So forgive me for that!

As for you, who has been hurting you that you would post this? Let me know if I can be of help!

So, please give us the Data you compiled to make this determination.

Every so often someone comes here and sooner or later posts this comment about unbelievers being more loving than Christians...........and, of course, it's a load of crap!

Either you only know about a dozen people, and no Christians, or you never watch T.V. -- read the News......or you are just stirring the pot here/

Oh, wait, was that NOT a loving Christian comment? Good.............now you have one example to add to your Data, please provide 2 or 3 loving comments by unbelievers at this time

Maybe your nonbelieving friends don't expect much from you. You perceive their happy go lucky disposition and behavior as love.

Your brothers and sisters may have shown love to you by admonishing you, or by being truthful with you.

Like that old antidrug commercial that shows a teenage girl standing on the train tracks. She hears the train whistle, but the girl doesn't move. Just a matter of time.

See the parallel. The girl knows drugs will killer her, but she refuses to quit. Who's going do the hard thing, tell her what she doesn't want to hear, go against her wishes, in order to get her off the path of self destruction?
It will be those who love her.

What appears to be love isn't always love.

There are two kinds of church-goers. One is the group who really is trying to follow the Lord. The other is the group that have personal agendas.

I'd be careful around non-believers. They can turn on you.

I get what you are saying, but really, half the "non judgemental" non- believers" I know hate Christians even if they fail to admit it.

I am pretty sure there are "good" and "bad" people among Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Agnostics, Atheists and any other religion I may have missed.

While I know Christians who certainly don't act Christ- like, I also know humanists that don't act human....
I've been told by atheists that I should be locked up in an asylum, based ONLY on me mentioning I believe in God.
I'm faced daily with Facebook posts say "Christians are judgemental and crazy for believing in imaginary things"
.... as if judging all the worlds Christians isn't judgemental.

- God created all of us, no matter what each person believes, and as God is love, there is love in all of us, even if sin is making that love flawed. Which means that, unsurprisingly, all have the same capacity to do good

"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone."

(John 10:33) “We are not stoning you for any of these,” replied the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”

Maybe your being set up to hate believers, who openly love The Lord, and try to live for them, opposed to those who do otherwise. I agree with you on a percent, there's a lot of reasons, and I don't want to say bad things, but try being the light and you'll see that the world won't like you. Why? the word says because the light shines and exposes the darkness and the sin in other's. They won't love you to long, and might even think twice before they like you.
I'll tell you my testimony of many years mail me, and you'll see that
tHOSE who live Godly shall endure persecutions. "Jesus said, They hated me first, and now that we have accepted him, his spirit dwells within us, and they still hate him, and don't even know us, but hate us any ways, because they see The Lord, who goes before us and leads, us. :)

Maybe it seems that way since unbelievers say just do whatever is good for you. Instead of it is written.

Just before easter this morning a thought of easter kind of came. Was thinking about going to the gallows, and how it will be. Then the thought came, it will kind of be like the feeling a child has on easter morning when he, or she finds the basket. Oh, the tears started rolling.

And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. Luke 22:44

i don't think Jesus was praying for Himself, maybe He was praying for us.

Sadly, because it was always Me-centered for you, and you never looked passed motive. If someone gave you what you wanted, it didn't matter if it was good for you.
