Dr. James White would be a good replacement IMHO.
He wouldn't do it though.

I heard him say once that when he was asked a question by someone, he replied that he wasn't the Bible Answerman. He basically told the person to look up the answer themselves. He pointed out that people were lazy and needed to learn to sort through the Scriptures. I am not sure if the question was really basic or what.

I like White but he can be a bit on the unsocial side sometimes :)

Hello Sparkman,

You are obviously not aware that Hank Hanegraaff has a radio broadcast show called "The Bible Answer Man?"

I don't know if he would or not, probably not. He'd be good except he get's snarky with people. I listen to his podcasts weekly and highly respect him. One thing he won't admit is the fact he has little patience with professing believers than he does for muslims. I'm going to get his book 'The Potter's Freedom' soon (LORD willing).

When I was still a newer believer, several years ago, I listened to the Bible Answer Man broadcast on a regular basis. I really enjoyed all the "questions and answers." As time went on and it came out that Hank was a preterist who also taught replacement theology, I suddenly lost interest in his program. I knew some Charismatics who were not fond of him at all.

I have a lot of his books. He rambles too much on Dividing Line so I don't listen to it much. His books are better.

Charismatics aren't going to like anyone who challenges their practices.

True. These particular Charismatics (who attended the Assemblies of God church) were also mixed up in the word of faith movement, which is mainly what Hank hammered on and really ruffled their feathers!
