Why not just speak in the tongue of the thread. Soa Scriptus or whatever sounds nice and important but everyone who come in typing in English will understand Scripture only or the like, and appreciate more what is referenced.

Anyone will learn from the Word (scripture only) if the Holy Spirit leads him. If the Holy Spñirit is not leading....nothing will be learned.

This scripture verse does not teach that the Holy Bible is the sole authority for Christians in matters of faith and morals.
That scripture verse says all SCRIPTURE is God-breathed/inspired by God.. The Holy Bible contains the scriptures. God's inspired word is the sole authority for Christians in matters of faith and morals. Don't believe the Roman Catholic sales pitch.

Re: Where Does the Bible Claim to be the Sole Authority for Christians.......[/h]
Are we allowed to go beyond the written word?
li thought we were told specifically not to

We do not go beyond the written word, for everything God wanted us to know is in the Bible, and if there was something else God wanted us to know,it would be in the Bible, and it s perfect in faith and morals,so there is nowhere else to go.
And THE WORD of GOD says don't go beyond what is written

This is what I was trying to relay to this poster
It's why I also wanted to know if he thinks Paul somehow was being led by his own fleshly spirit when he said these very words?

Who is going beyond what is written in this one who wants to suggests that GOD did not give us all that we need to know by HIS WORD who lives and leads us to all TRUTH

Even if one doesn't want to acknowledge Isaiah will anyone deny that Paul spoke by the SPIRIT of CHRIST so powerfully at work in him
its why I also said this above
