There is no obstacle for Christian unity, it exists, it is not manufactured, and we are to maintain it (guard it), Ephesians 4:3. Part of maintaining that unity is rejection of ecumenism and rejection of apostasy. This rejection would include rejecting the RCC among other apostates.
