Thank you!! We have a straight shot to heaven now. Rev 20 makes it pretty clear. The dead in Christ are with Him now reigning from heaven and the rest of the dead (unbelievers) won't live again until the "1,000" years are finished.

I finished all of Ignatius, Polycarp and well into Clement and so far nobody is speaking about any great tribulation, or rapture or even a future coming of Christ. This is in stark contrast to the NT when that's what everyone was talking about. Instead they are looking forward to martyrdom and to immediately be with Jesus.
I'm not agreeing with you lol, I'm saying you MAY be right.

Who cares about the Khazarian wedding practices? I look more middle-eastern than these white europeans. Even the hats are russian. Will the real Jews please stand up?

I used support an organization that part of their ministry was to Russian Jews, many of them Holocaust survivors. In Russian, Jews are disqulified from their form of Social Security. That left MANY, especially elderly, starving, and that organization takes food and medical supplies to those forgotten JEWS in Russia. That organization also buys airline tickets for those who want to immigrate to ISRAEL.

WHO CARES? GOD CARES? AND THEREFORE SO DO I! YES, I will send them another donation today, because of you and your attitude.

Genesis 12:2-3 (HCSB)
[SUP]2 [/SUP] I will make you into a great nation, I will bless you, I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] I will bless those who bless you, I will curse those who treat you with contempt, and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.

Jews in a Israeli Synagogue Congregations TODAY:

It is not a Russian hat, is one of the traditional hats of a Hasidic Jew.

Wikipedia: "A shtraimel (Yiddish: שטרײַמל‎, plural שטרײַמלעך shtraimlech) is a fur hat worn by many married Haredi Jewish men, particularly (although not exclusively) members of Hasidic Judaism, on Shabbat and Jewish holidays and other festive occasions.[SUP][1][/SUP] In Jerusalem, the shtreimel is also worn by Litvak Jews (non-Hasidim who belong to the original Ashkenazi community of Jerusalem, also known as Perushim). The shtreimel is generally worn only after marriage, except in some Yerushalmi communities, where boys wear it from the age of Bar Mitzvah."

Your statement reaks from stereotyping, anti-semitism, and ignorance.

Not being facetious, but anyone who is still surviving the Holocaust is 73 at the very least, many will be nearing 100, so they have done pretty well without our help.

VCO LOL! You decided to prove me wrong by posting more pictures of white europeans. These guys are more pale than me.
How are these guys middle-eastern again? Has anyone here ever travelled outside of the Bible belt of America? The people in the middle-east look like Arabs, like Berbers. They do not look like Russian white people. This is just reality, I know it rains on your parade.

As for the Genesis 12 quote, this is very stereotypical American Christianity right here, you got the american eagle and colors, you got the "God is gonna curse you if you do not like a country founded in 1948 by the united nations". The only thing missing is God bless the troops and pledging allegience to the flag.
That promise belongs to Abraham of course, and primarily it belongs to JESUS CHRIST (Galatians 3:16) and those who are in Christ (Galatians 3:29).

I am also glad to hear that my biblical outlook on this topic has caused you to donate to russians.

And lets assume I am wrong and these guys truly are descendants of Abraham who have caught mass-leprosy which made them lose all their pigmentation generation after generation. WHO CARES?
The flesh profiteth nothing, John the Baptist and Jesus are in agreement, do not say you have Abraham for your father, for God can raise from these stones children unto Abraham. Their father was the devil as Jesus said, not Abraham, because they did not do the works of Abraham.

The irony is immense that someone who says ethnicity and endless genealogies do not matter is called anti-semite, yet the ones who are worshipping a nationality and exalting one above another are not racist or anti-semitic? Also does anyone in America realize Arabs and Sami people are also considered Semitic? Probably not.

i made a thread about this too wondering who the real jews are...... and i think it has to do with them being circumcised and keeping the laws thats why they considered jews not because of their skin color thats why u got ethiopian jews german jews and indian jews.......... i also dont think its just american its all over the world...... and yes promises do belong to those who are in Christ but that doesnt say it doesnt also belong to them we are grafted in you see to the promises of Abraham....... Jesus and John could say bad things to the pharisees because they were prophets and Jesus son of God so its different than us....... also romans 11:25-26

Yes.

Israel had 40 years, like Nineveh, to repent.

John the Baptist started his ministry in 26BC; 26AD - 66AD was 40 years.

From Christ's Ministry to the cessation of sacrifice, 40 years also.

30AD - 70AD

From Christ's resurrection to the end of the Old Covenant, 40 years also

AD33 - AD73
Sorry I can't go along with that J7. :)

A covenant is in force AFTER the testator is dead. The new covenant started when the testator died.

Hebrews 9:16-17 KJV
For where a testament is , there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
[17] For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Brilliant. Therefore the Old Covenant is only in force where animal sacrifices are offered.

To abolish the old covenant God needed to destroy the Temple.

Genius KJ. Thank You!!

You are assuming that when the Bible reads "Israel" it means the country founded in 1948 in the middle-east filled with white europeans practicing the religion of Judaism.
You guys think these guys in Israel care one bit about the Old Testament or "tanakh" well they do not, majority of them are secular, as is the case with the Jews in the United States. Why is this not obvious.

THEY ARE WHITE ATHEISTS. Not middle-eastern Jews.
If you want to see a guy who is most likely a flesh descendant of Abraham, look at Yemeni Jews, atleast they look middle-eastern like Paul and Moses and Joseph.

More stereotyping in ignorance requires more pictures:

The way i understand it is the new covenant was like the last will and testament of Jesus. When Jesus died he redeemed the transgressions of those that WERE UNDER THE FIRST TESTAMENT(<---- note past tense) that they might receive the promises made to Abraham.

Hebrews 9:15 KJV
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living. 18 This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood.

The new covenant required Christ to die.

The Old Covenant likewise is active when sacrifices are being made. So as long as the Temple existed, and sacrifes were offered, the Old Covenant was in force too.

So God, it would appear, actually had to destroy the Temple to end the covenant, or at least that is the method he enforced.

I think I found out where ashkenazi jew came from.

Genesis 10:2-3 "The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah."

Which one of these places is in Germany or Russia:

Isaiah 11:11 "And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea."

It took me a while, but I finally see what your talking about lol. I still disagree but I see where you're coming from.

The way I see it that's like saying Aaron and Jesus were Paul's high priest at the same time. Also the KJV says the first testament was DEDICATED with blood. Moses gave the testament to the peope and then took blood and sprinkled it saying "This is the blood of the testament....". It was a dedication as in an affirmation or proclamation. I don't think the dedication kept the covenant in force, it was just a dedication to say the covenant was legit.

Hebrews 9:18-20 KJV
Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
[19] For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
[20] Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

Ok,what you guys are trying to nail down is COVENANT. oLD<>NEW.

The old came through Abraham

The new came through Jesus.

Both covenants had priests/priesthood.

The new covenant came through the new priesthood,RATIFIED by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, the new high priest, finished with the blood offered to the father, and the son exalted above every name,in heaven.

The priesthood changed at the Jordan. When John the legitimate priest of levitical order baptized Jesus. That was the change in priesthood from levitical to davidical/judah.

David was a priest after the order of Melchezedek, and he had a separate tabernacle to the Temple, so the two priesthoods had co-existed before

That I agree with and that's why David could lawfully eat the shewbread and the priests profaned the sabbath and were blameless.... David was a Christian, he wasn't under the law. BUT David wasn't the high priest like Jesus and Aaron though.

Matthew 12:4-5 KJV
How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? [5] Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

The Melchezedek order pre-exists the Levitical order

4 Just think how great he was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave him a tenth of the plunder! 5 Now the law requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people—that is, from their fellow Israelites—even though they also are descended from Abraham. 6 This man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. 7 And without doubt the lesser is blessed by the greater.
