To AHW, VCO and MUZ,

Would you agree much of the Bible is devoted to the major events of Israel throughout her history? Much time is spent detailing her sins and punishments throughout the centuries. Every major prophet spent a vast amount of time discussing her Babylonian captivity. Don't you find it odd that (according to you) that few, if any, time was spend on discussing her end in 70 AD? Why skip that event? If you do see 70 AD discussed, which passages do you feel discuss it?
yes mon it would be strange........... but if ur view is correct its so boring there is nothing to look forward to............ world continues forever the same way............. zzzz

READ DANIEL chapter 9 about the Seventy Weeks, and you will see they are weeks of Years.

Daniel 9:24-27 (NASB)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] "Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people {blood Israelites, not the Church} and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place. {SEE, this Prophecy GOES INTO a time period where there is EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS. NOT 70 consecutive weeks of years. THE GAP, is the Church-age between the end of the 69th week and the beginning of the 70th week of years.}
[SUP]25 [/SUP] "So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress.
[SUP]26 [/SUP] "Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off {NOTE that is AFTER THE 7 WEEKS, AND AFTER THE 62 WEEKS ENDS, AND BEFORE THE 70TH WEEK OF YEARS BEGINS IN VERSE 27. THAT IS THE AGE OF MESSIAH BEING CUT OFF AND THE AGE THAT EVENT SPAWNS, WHICH IS THE CHURCH AGE.} and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary.
{THAT IS THE ROMAN EMPEROR TITUS, WHO DESTROYED JERUSALEM AND THE TEMPLE IN 70 AD.} And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined. {SEE IT? The 70th week of DANIEL happens at the time of the END. It has been there all along in PLAIN SITE.}
[SUP]27 [/SUP] "And he* will make a firm covenant with the many for one week {
*The last person mentioned is the person leading the ROMAN EMPIRE in 70 AD; SO this prophecy is after the time of the END begins, but no mention of a DIFFERENT Empire being involved in the following prophecies. Therefore it is a revival of the Roman Empire, with a Different Emperor at the time of the END.}, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."

NOTE the Decree of Artaxerxes's is a DOCUMENTED HISTORICAL EVENT, and the amount of time it took them rebuild Jerusalem including the TEMPLE was 49 years (7 WEEKS OF YEARS), and that was 434 years before Christ rode into Jerusalem on a Donkey {as Messiah the Prince}. THAT is the END of the 62 weeks and Christ is crucified AFTER THAT, BUT BEFORE THE 70th Week, which happens at the time of the END, it says so. THAT INFORMATION HAS BEEN THERE ALL THE TIME, IN PLAIN SITE. MANY MISS IT BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY LOOKING TO PROVE THEIR PRESUPPOSITIONS, AND NOT REALLY TRYING TO SERIOUSLY PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT HE IS ACTUALLY SAYING.

Look how verse 24 is worded in Young's Literal Translation.

Daniel 9:24 (YLT)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] `Seventy weeks are determined for thy people, and for thy holy city, to shut up the transgression, and to seal up sins, and to cover iniquity, and to bring in righteousness age-during, and to seal up vision and prophet, and to anoint the holy of holies.

If the TEMPLE in the Millennium is where CHRIST HIMSELF will sit when People come to worship HIM, THE HOLY OF HOLIES, IT WILL BE ANOINTED BECAUSE THE ANOINTED ONE WILL BE PRESENT, SEATED ON THE MERCY SEAT, AND REIGNING AS KING. He is IN THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK, in that HE will be a Non-Levitte High Priest and KING of Judah AND THE WORLD, ALL at the same TIME.

Zechariah 14:16-17 (HCSB)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] Then all the survivors from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, and to celebrate the Festival of Booths.
[SUP]17 [/SUP] Should any of the families of the earth not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, rain will not fall on them.
You deny Christ in Daniel 9:27 and you add "weeks of years" to the 70 weeks.... and I'm the unsaved heretic lol.

One thing you can't deny nor dispute - When Jesus made his triumphal entry on palm Sunday going forth conquering and to conquer, EXACTLY 7 days (1 week) later he CONFIRMED the covenant and he ended the need for animal sacrifices. Then EXACTLY 7 weeks later Pentecost came.

You need to stop trusting MAN'S inerpretation of scripture and let the Holy Spirit guide you.

1 Corinthians 13:[SUP]9 [/SUP]For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.[SUP] 10 [/SUP]But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.[SUP] 11 [/SUP]When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.[SUP]12 [/SUP]For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.[SUP]13 [/SUP]And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Saved believers can err and still have the Holy Spirit. Since the pre trib rapture is hid... wisdom can only come from the Lord to those that see the truth in His words without ignoring the rest of scriptures that shall speak the same truth.

It is usually our set mentality from other teachers that clouds our discernment and hearing Him confirm the word by Him at that throne of grace.

As it is, Jesus's warning towards believers are for a time that is not descriptive of those saints under the persecution and oppression of the great tribulation. That is why He is calling believers to prepare themselves in Luke 12:40-49 and why He addressed the seven churches in Revelation where five of them had dire consequences if they do not repent.

There is an escape and so the snares are the cares of this life now... which would hardly be a snare when the King of kings comes back at the end of the great tribulation as bad as it would get for the saints then. Who would love their lives at the end of the great tribulation to NOT want to leave it?

Luke 21:[SUP]33 [/SUP]Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.[SUP] 34 [/SUP]And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.[SUP] 35 [/SUP]For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.[SUP]36 [/SUP]Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Feel free to address how any saved believer need to take heed at the end of the great tribulation to avoid the snares that would hardly be a snare for them at the end of the great tribulation when they need the mark of the beast to buy & sell in order to get drunk and love this life more than Him to not want to leave?

Especially when having the mark of the beast to buy & sell is an automatic lake of fire judgment? It would be obvious to say that anyone having the mark of the beast to buy & sell is the snare, but it is not. The snares are the cares of this life along with two other sinful lifestyle mentioned that a saved believer can be snared in in these latter days so that when the pre trib rapture comes, they would not want to leave it.... that is why Jesus said "Remember Lot's wife".

Luke 14:15-33 is all about how the cares of this life and our loved ones would be the reason why they are not attending the King's Supper; hence the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. The cost of discipleship is to leave this life behind.

So obviously, you are misreading few key scriptures that makes you think there is no pre trib rapture when Jesus has been giving enough warnings for saved believers to be found abiding in Him or else which proves that there is a pre trib rapture.

This has nothing to do with agreeing or disagreeing with a point of view, this has to do with METHODOLOGY. We don't study left behind books or J Vernon McGee commentaries to understand the bible, we read the bible and the Holy Spirit ties scripture together for us.... nothing sinister or mean spirited behind what I said, I just spoke the truth - God is our teacher not man.

Since we are to prove everything by Him & His words, then you can prove everything by Him and His words given in the KJV to confirm the truth in His words if believers are applying His words rightly or not.

Just because a favorite public minister or christian leader is right some of the time, that does not mean he is right all of the time. Always prove everything by Him at that throne of grace. Usually that is what the elders of the churches are supposed to do.. confirm the word to make sure the pastor or anyone from the pulpit is rightly dividing the word so that the assembly does not go astray, especially when the pastor conveyed something not clearly enough that it can be taken the wrong way. Of course, to spare the public embarassment, elders should read his sermon before he presents it, but that hardly has been a practice anywhere by any "bishops" or "elders" of the churches.

In any event, this is why each believer should prove everything by Him & His words as kept in the King James Bible, because all the devil has to do in leading many astray.. is to mislead the leader... whether they realize this or not; that is how a whole church can go astray.

Matthew 24:21 KJV
[21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Didnt Paul and the other Pharisees start rounding up and persecuting Christians right after the death of Christ?

Yes Paul persecuted Christians, but that has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BOOK OF REVELATION. HOWEVER, the BEAST will order everyone on the planet who refuses to worship HIM BEHEADED, and thus every Believer at that time, including every Jew, will be faced with beheading, for refusing that MARK of loyalty to the Dictator controlled by the Evil One. That Antichrist WHO wants everyone in the WORLD to worship him instead of GOD, will become the most BLOOD THIRSTY Dictator that ever lived. HE WILL KILL MORE THAN ADOLF HITLER EVER DID.

Several of us, OVER AND OVER AGAIN,
have showed you all kinds of verses proving that very point. Apparently you never read them, because you do not want to test your Teachers and Presuppositions. We have Tested our Beliefs, by comparing Scripture with Scripture, NOT WITH HUMAN INTELLECT and OPINIONS. We used the Berean Way to arrive at the BIBLICAL TRUTH.

Acts 17:11 (NCV)
[SUP]11 [/SUP] These Jews were more willing to listen than the Jews in Thessalonica. The Bereans were eager to hear what Paul and Silas said and studied the Scriptures every day to find out if these things were true.

2 Corinthians 1:12-13 (CSBBible)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] Indeed, this is our boast: The testimony of our conscience is that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you, with godly sincerity and purity, not by human wisdom but by God's grace.
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For we are writing nothing to you other than what you can read and also understand. I hope you will understand completely?—

Therefore, it is a Waste of our time to continue to post the same Scriptures OVER, and OVER, and OVER again, only to have you totally reject them. Because you are TOTALLY UNWILLING to use those Scriptures to TEST what your Teachers have said, and to TEST your own Presupposed Opinions; I now will tell you, WHEN you come to realize that you NEED TO TEST those Teachings like the Bereans TESTED PAUL and SILAS; RE-READ our posts and Search the Scriptures to see if your TEACHERS, have contradicted what GOD HAS SAID IN HIS WORD.

Do you think heaven is going to be boring? Don't you think God has made heaven far more superior for us than earth has been? Common bro, we all strive to get to heaven. Earth is simply our temporary residence or "proving ground." EARTH = DEATH

Those in Christ don't belong here on earth. We belong in heaven. Trust me, there is plenty to look forward to in heaven. You're young, life on earth may seem great to you. Live awhile then maybe you will start to think differently, after a hip replacement or two, LOL.

why????????? what mind games is this where people cant mean what they say?????? u know i like the literal interpretation method a lot because atleast u dont gotta sit there wondering what mind games u are played with this time, if coming on the clouds doesnt mean coming on the clouds but roman armies why not just say it in a more plain sense?? how frustrating........
if i was a disciple thinking that its figurative i would constantly ask "but Jesus what do u raelly mean?"

i mean i see ur point the time area does fit and it does say in matt26 the high priest will see Jesus coming but come on bro isnt that just pretty deceptive to say u are coming on the clouds and all this supernatural stuff, but then its just a worldly army invasion????? i would feel scammed if that happened to me in the 1st century.........
The Bible is far more complex than most people imagine. Clouds are just one of many symbols used throughout scripture.
Apart from those seen in the sky they represent Gods Judgement and his majesty. If you read the reference in Daniel that Jesus used to answer the High Priest you will see that the Son of Man is going to heaven not coming from it. He is receiving from the Father his throne kingdom and authority over the whole earth. The nations and their armies are in his control he rules the universe. All power is given to him. Nothing happens without him allowing it to happen. Jesus used parables so that only those who were seeking the truth could understand them. At times he had to explain them to his disciples because they didn't always understand him either.

The HISTORICAL RECORDS PROVE that DANIEL was REFERRING to weeks of Years and that a week in those prophecies was a Seven Year Period. SO ACCURATE THAT JESUS RODE RODE THAT DONKEY INTO JERUSALEM EXACTLY ON TIME. In fact I believe it was EXACT to the very HOUR Artaxerxes wrote the DECREE to go rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple.

Whoever designed the above Chart, clearly did not want to get involved in the argument we now have ongoing for 347 pages plus. Therefore he left the Rapture completely out of Chart. I chose to post this chart because he is showing how you arrive at the correct number of years to get to the Crucifixion of Christ. What Many English speaking people do is use to the Julian or Gregorian Calendar, and thus they will argue that Christ was not Crucified in 33 AD. When you use the Jewish Calendar it is 5 days shorter, and then you HAVE TO REMEMBER that ever few years they throw in a LEAP MONTH to even it out; you then come up with Christ being Crucified on April 6, 33 AD. Forget to add in those LEAP MONTHS and you come up with a completely different year for the Crucifixion. Above he even NOTED that he added 24 days to the Gregorian Count, which I am unsure where he got that, but may be due to the fact he is counting to the crucifixion, when I have always been taught that count ends at the day Christ rode into Jerusalem on the Donkey. He also left the 3.5 year mark out the 70th Week, but we all know that was part of the Prophecy in Dan. 9:27.

None of you guys have proven anything from the bible, all you do is twist passages and I mean really twist to the point of completely changing the verse meaning. And then to divert the twisting you throw in about 10 out of context verses and NEVER address the questions asked of you.

Example:

Revelation 6:2 KJV
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Absolutely nothing in that verse tells you that's the antichrist... You guys add that and preach it like it's the gospel truth and totally IGNORE the fact that the bible tells us that Christ did in fact do the things mentioned in Revelation 6:2. AGAIN you guys chose antichrist over Christ.
