Sorry to inform some of you, but WoF and the Prosperity gospel aren't the Good News, they are #fakenews.

I heard Schambach in person back in the late 70's and I know he is with the Lord now before the throne of our Father - shouting like a wild man that is so excited about the goodness of God.

I love the story he tells of that cripple boy that gets healed of a bunch of different diseases right in front of him. He could hear the kids bones cracking as the Lord straightened him up. Awesome story of the goodness and grace of our Lord.

I know that Mr. Schamback was a beloved brother in the Lord and he has left this earth and just as Paul says - to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

I fully expect to see him throughout eternity at some point and I'm sure he will be still shouting out about how good God is. We have a great salvation in our Lord Jesus Christ! He is faithful to all of us.

Hebrews 12:15 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled;

3 John 1:2
2–4. Personal Good Wishes and Sentiments

2. I wish above all things that] Rather, I pray that in all respects; literally, concerning all things. It might well surprise us to find S. John placing health and prosperity above all things; and though the Greek phrase (περὶ πάντων) has that meaning sometimes in Homer, yet no parallel use of it has been found in either N.T. or LXX.

prosper] The word (εὐοδούσθαι) occurs elsewhere in N.T. only Rom_1:10 and 1Co_16:2, but is frequent in LXX. Etymologically it has the meaning of being prospered in a journey, but that element has been lost in usage, and should not be restored even in Rom_1:10.

and be in health] Bodily health, the chief element in all prosperity: Luk_7:10; Luk_15:27; comp. Luk_5:31. We cannot conclude from these good wishes that Gaius had been ailing in health and fortune: but it is quite clear from what follows that ‘prosper and be in health’ do not refer to his spiritual condition, and this verse is, therefore, good authority for praying for temporal blessings for our friends. In the Pastoral Epistles ‘to be in health’ (ὑγιαίνειν) is always used figuratively of faith and doctrine.

The order of the Greek is striking, ‘all things’ at the beginning being placed in contrast to ‘soul’ at the end of the sentence: in all things I pray that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as prospereth thy soul. The verse is a model for all friendly wishes of good fortune to others.

I saw Shambach in Ohio at a tent revival, in the '90's.

Yes, he was a wild pentacostal...on fire for the Lord. ;)

I think this thread could use these verses looking at how some people are being toward others.

Ephesians 4:29-31 (NASB)
[SUP]29 [/SUP] Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.

[SUP]30[/SUP] Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

[SUP]31 [/SUP] Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

I saw Schambach several times..... on TBN.

He was a regular there, esp during their beg-a-thons.

Two things about those that run on TBN:
1. If they can't discern they're running with devils, they're not much of a preacher.
2. Those that run with devils are just like them. (I've been saying that a long time about those on CC that do it.
)

Sorry, but you're no authority on the true Gospel, because you don't preach or know it, nor upon who is with the Lord or who is not. Your assumptions and beliefs are purely subjective and not based upon the Word of God, but on twisted meanings, psychosomatic and other fake healings, and upon the false gospel of covetous idolatry a.ka. WoF/Prosperity gospel. 2 Peter 2:3ff.
What a nasty individual you are

The angels said to the disciples".... He will return in like manner.."

What was the setting?

Massive anti Holy Ghost Phariseeism.

They killed everything they couldn't understand.

I read this story one time that I believe illustrates the truth of God wants us to have an abundance so that we can be a blessing to others - in saying that - there are the true riches that uses the common mammon riches of this world.

There was a lady that was working her field in South Africa and she found a large diamond. That night a beggar came to her door hungry - she fed him and the Spirit of God within her said to give him this diamond. She did because she knew that God is her provider for all things and she didn't have her trust in the things of this world.

A year later the same beggar guy came back to her house - all dressed nice and looked healthy. He gave her the diamond back and said. " I don't need your diamond - I need what is in you that would influence you to give someone like me such a gift."

That is the true riches in action using this world's riches.

God uses the riches of this world to be a blessing unto others but it's all a matter of the heart. Where is our true trust? In things or in God who richly gives us all things to enjoy?

1 Timothy 6:17 (NASB)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.

I agree about halfway with the Pharisees in this thread.

I can never call the body of Christ devils. They cross the line when their fangs come out.

I have never seen the Phariseeism that it wasn't at least half right.

They hold their "rightness" up as they did with Jesus. They have no clue as to their error. Blindness takes them out. They have never seen,or studied " error by emphasis",because it is not in their workbook.

They are wrong. Where they got off is at some place where "bible",and men, took the place of the savior.

In all their "rightness" they fail. They test, and prove their rightness, while they trample the one that is suppose to inhabit them, but in their "wisdom" they have found a "better" way.

That is the spirit that guides them to attack.

That spirit is what is revealed in Foxes' book of martyrs. It attacks what is out of their box.

You can look at Westborough Baptist stalking and attacking grieving parents of our great fallen vets, and wonder why, why, why.

But to them, they are so right, and we are so blind.

That is a spirit friend.

Mean,attacking spirit
