Help With the Greek

I am trying to understand something in the Greek, and because it is rather knotty, and because I have zero knowledge of Koine, I approached a university lecturer. Unfortunately, it is impossible to have a proper conversation with this type of person as they regard the Bible as man-made.

Does anyone know of a place where you can ask questions of a Greek scholar with getting side-dishes of liberal humanistic pedagoguery?

I am personaly not sure why do English translations choose so strange ways of how to translate this verse (oracles, spoken words, the very words of God etc) as shown on biblehub.com

Suprisingly, I would be for the Aramaic Bible translation, no complexities in it.:

"Much in everything; first, that they were entrusted with the words of God."

"πολὺ κατὰ πάντα τρόπον. πρῶτον μὲν γὰρ ὅτι ἐπιστεύθησαν τὰ λόγια τοῦ Θεοῦ."

i guess!! i thought i was doing well till i came to the tongue twister at the end. (nope. not doing well.)

i don't think the languages have a similar history, but it's reminding me of Magyar.
my husband's grandparents were Hungarian immigrants, and his mom tried to teach me some Magyar.

she knew only a little, and i didn't catch on.
