Let the Children Come to Me
13 And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them.14 But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.15 Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it."16 And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.Mark 10:"Let the children come to me;whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter itand jesus layed his hand on the children.

I hate to break it to you guys, but I believe that being 'Born Again' is so literal that we will actually enter the Kingdom as children.

Why am I saying this like it's bad news?

Because I believe we won't remember a thing about our previous lives here on Earth.

Tough pill for some to swallow.

We are currently born again in our spirit but we await the redemption of our bodies.

I don't see any scriptures where we forget our life here. Jesus didn't forget upon His resurrection.

That is talking about remembering the former heaven and earth....which happens when Jesus comes back and destroys this world.

Folks get born again right now. The apostles were born again in Acts 2....

You ain't a woofin',we will not remember anything about this earth,or heaven, for it is associated with sin and rebellion, and when we get to the New Jerusalem, the final destination of the saints,it will be a place where sin has never been, and sin will never be,and the saints, and angels, will remember nothing prior to the New Jerusalem, for it is a fresh start.

We will not even know each other as we knew each other on earth, for we will not remember anything concerning this earth, and heaven. You will not know your friends, your spouse, your children, and you could be standing next to your spouse in heaven, and you will not even know the person was your spouse on earth. We will know natta, zilch, zero, nothing, and we will not be sad for those who did not make it,for we will not remember them, and if they did make it,we would not remember them anyway.

Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

When we are born again we are as little babies. We are dependent upon God in all things, he protects us at first, everything seems to be bliss, its as a mother or father who has our life in their hands, they feed us, they clothe us, we are totally at their mercy.

Our relationship with God is the same, then He makes us grow up, we have to learn to eat meat instead of the milk we have been getting. But we ENTER the Kingdom of God as Babies/Children. Then we should grow or something is wrong.

To die is to be present with the Lord, which all the New Testament saints are with Jesus when they die,so all the Old Testament saints resurrected to be with the Lord when He shed His blood washing away all of their sins.

All Old Testament saints, and New Testament saints that died, are with Jesus.

Heaven and earth are still active right now,so in heaven David will see his son,and know him. They will know each other in heaven right now,but at the end of the millennial reign of Christ, when the saints go to the New Jerusalem, then they will not remember the past.

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

These saints are in heaven with Jesus, and asks Jesus when He will avenge them, and He said when all the saints are joined with them, and then He will avenge them,so the saints in heaven right now, know of the earth, and will know each other in heaven,as they did on earth.

David did see his son,but he will not know his son when the saints get to the New Jerusalem, for it is a fresh start, and God does not want them to remember anything of the past, and for anybody to know each other there, would mean they would remember the earth, for that is where they knew them, but they will not remember the earth, and it will not come to their mind.

God does not want them to remember the past, for the earth is associated with sin and rebellion, and for the saints to know about the past, would mean they would know of sin and rebellion, and would give them a choice, something they do not have at the New Jerusalem, for there is no choice there, but the saints love is not robotic love, but they already made the choice to follow God,so in the New Jerusalem choice will never come up again.

'Little children' and 'little ones' are simply Bible lingo, a Bible way of saying, all who are saved (born anew). We read:

"Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven."

This is not simply talking about persons a few years old, but about all true believers.

Incidentally, the apostle Paul's name means 'little'.

In relation to this....

Matthew 18:1-5: "At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me"

A lot of focus on humility. Children are humble, not proud. Additionally they are very forgiving, trusting and teachable. We can learn from children. Just as they trust their earthly father we're to trust our Heavenly Father.

Matthew 23:11:
"But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted"

Matthew 5:5 (Beatitudes): "...Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth"

James 4:10: "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up"

True. But I wonder if some things will be forgotten... like family and friends that never get saved, or would we spend eternity with the knowledge that they're in hell? I believe we will recognize each other in Heaven though...

Well think of it in this train of thought, what are some of the qualities that almost all small children share? They are innocent by nature they don't over think things and accept things taught them with an open mind and heart, they don't over stress everything even though they do throw fits and get angry they enjoy the simple things and they seem to just live in the moment and enjoy life

Now look at the adult, they tend to overthink things even to the point where whatever they were thinking about only causes them stress, many adults don't know how to relax they are to worried about all the stuff in life the adult generally tends to be much more closed minded than a child and most adults do not live in the moment and have no clue how to either.

Look at this Mathew19:13-14 13Then the little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them; and the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven” belongs to such as these. notice how the children didn't even think they simply ran into Jesus's arms, the apostles told them to leave him alone overthinking the situation

Amen!! My Brother it has to be it, because of the innocents of a little child. We won't, that's why all the questions on if you're elect and your family isn't are you going to be mad at God? No, for one you'll be in such awe and wonder of His Holiness and Beauty, that you will not know whether to jump for joy or fall on your face in total wonder and awe of who your Father, Brother and Spirit of love are.

Because the greatness of His grace towards us will be seen plainly, I believe that is as simple as seeing His grandeur and our insignificance, we will be in Awesome wonder of Him.

To receive the kingdom as a little child means, I believe, that we have to come in the same kind of absolute trust in Jesus as a child would normally give to a loving, kind parent. If we approach Jesus doubting His word and works, apprehensive about the conditions, and fearful to trust him completely, we have not yet entered the kingdom. When Jesus knocks on the door of our hearts only that kind of trust will allow us to give him complete freedom to come in. The soul who is fearful, hesitant, etc. will not open the door and therefore not experience his love, goodness and salvation.

jesus remember who he was at after the resurrection.

this pill might be hard to swallow, if your learning a spiritual understanding, then all human understand becomes nil and void. you under new leadership.
