Your Thinking on World Ending Soon

Hey, guys!

My friend told me about this site. I don't know much about this TV station person, because i don't have cable... anyway, the link is below. I was wondering where you stand on this topic.....

It obviously talks about the worlds last days. There has been a prediction that a war in the middle east will happen in the summer and it's all part of what the Bible says will happen. There will be like nuclear missiles... but the war will be limited...

It sounds very true, but I have to get some people's thinking for this...

People can tell you all kinds of bad things that are happening in the world right now and many of these things happened before in world history. Some of the things that the world hasn't seen before is worldwide communications and easy travel from place to place. Some things are soon to come like a cashless worldwide system, this was never possible in the past. Some things have happened on small scales like militant homosexuality (I don't know if it is on a mass scale in terms of the percent of people in this sin) Complete manipulation of the masses on a great scale like we see hasn't happened before. Then there's the push to patent life and control the seed supply as well as all life necessities.

I don't know how near the end is but the direction the world is going will eventually destroy all freedom as well as the planet. The devil is guilty and is holding the office of man therefore he needs to get rid of the witnesses (Christians) against him. He thinks if he can get rid of the true Christians then he live happily ever after with mankind and God can't touch him. (thats what I think the devil thinks) In my opinion if the trends are allowed by God to keep on going in the direction against God, one day you would see salvation become difficult if not impossible because of the initiation at birth or before birth into the new age.

I didn't see the links you send yet, but I have my opinion already about the end of the world. I think no matter what there will come and how it will be but it will happen. The Bible is clear about what is going to happen in the world. Now we have 2 options. We can panic about it or we can let it come the way it will be and see. Ther eis nothing you can do about it. People can do discusting things to other people, that is not new but we can hold on to the promise of God. So my opinion about it is face it and go with God through it.

Giant one/small one lol, according what you said about what you think that the devil thinks: I think that the devil KNOWS that he is lost already. What is more beautiful for him then taking as much as Gods kids with him?

I dont put much stock in people saying its the end of the world. People have been saying that for years and years. When jesus comes back he comes back, what is the point in saying he is every five minutes... OHH GOD IS COMING BACK NEXT WEEK, NO NEXT YEAR, NO TOMORROW! Its starting to get old

I would think the point of saying it over and over is beacuse most aren't ready. Many souls need to turn to God. Many who think they are fine and are going to heaven are not and need to repent. Thats a big deal.

We don't worry about the coming of the Lord. But how many people do we know that won't even forgive?

Not even Jesus knows about the end of days, so why would a man know it. Don't worry about it. Live your life in accordance with the New Covenant and you will be fine.

im a little confused about the "neither the son, except the father." becuase isn't Jesus and God the same person yet three at the same time? lol, idk. I guess its nothing to worry over, just curious.

Omniscience is a separable characteristic of God. it is something He can lay down and pick up. So, Jesus had laid down his omniscience while He was incarnate.

I'm Greek Orthodox so I will give you the Greek Orthodox understanding of the Trinity. The Father is the source of the God-head. The son is eternally begotten from the Father and the Holy Spirit proceeds eternally from the Father only. Each person of the Holy Trinity is a distinct divine person, which is called Hypostases. They do not overlap but they each share one divine essence.

Jesus is not the same as the Father. They share the same divine essence, ουσια, and there is no modality or overlapping between them. Hence why the Father can know something the Son does not.

Sometimes I don't remember how old I getting ,so some people may get this and others may not. What you said there is kind of like a kids story I recall about The Boy who cried WOLF! But the one I think that fits even better is the story of the chickin that hatches and its Mother isn't there; so he wanders around the barnyard asking ALL the DIFFRENT animals Are YOU my Mother? makes total sense to me..the devil..satan..lucifer..baphomet..and the miriad of "other" ...names... evil masquerades under....

they do not like the Holy Spirit..and wish to thwart the plans of the heavenly Father...

and the redemption givin to us through His Son Jesus...

there maybe other names for the "holy" trinity...amongst other religions..
...and I do not want to offend..those who are pure of heart..and live their religions ....
with great honour..and purpose...
.if that purpose be Holy.....and does not blasphemy the... LOVE of God..

and the REDEMPTION He has procured for us....

No one Knows the time or day of Christ's return-we can hope,though that it will be in our lifetime..yes,they have been sayin that ,too,but how glorious will that day be? I personally do hope it is soon.and will be ready

The guy in that vid said we are in our last days. He doesnt know when, but it's near.... Not the specific date.... it could be in one year, 5 years, or even 10000 years! i guess he's trying to get people to believe in God... we'll know when things from revelation start when they start. and im not worrying at all.

That "guy" in the vid has never ever..EVER said that the world is going to end, in fact he keeps on stating in his ministry that the world will NEVER end! (as the B.....what he does teach is that according to The Word of God is that we are near the end of an age...NOT THE END OF THE WORLD!!
God in His loving care for us has put scriptures in His Word so that we His children may know when His return is near so that we can be prepared for it, recieve it or not, He did not include those signs in His Word to confuse us

I actually watch Dr. Van Impe's programs on occasion. He is very well versed in the Word, but again he is (as many others are) a pre-tribber. He thinks we will be 'out of here very soon' and therefore tells people to accept Jesus, so that they don't miss out. According to his news reports (current ones) he predicts there could be a war coming in July or this summer sometime, based on many headline clips he collected. I like his passion on wanting to win souls, but again, he's pushing the rapture to be 'any time now'. He doesn't believe the church will even know who the man of lawlessness will be because we won't be around to witness it.
Bugbite, I think it's wise to keep up with what's going on in the middle east and always be ready to meet your Lord anytime. God will not abandon us... but that doesn't mean we aren't heading into perilous times. Remember we are not to let fear control us.

My thought: Mara natha, Come quickly.
