Jacob is Israel.

I believe that "the time of Jacob's trouble" ( Jeremiah 30:7 ) is referring to Armageddon.

I don't remember, but has sin been removed and have they gone out like calves released from their stalls?

This has happened?
sin and false prophets have been removed and a fountain for cleanliness has already been opened

And Jacob recognizes this fountain?

No,

The children of Israel.

The time of Jacob's trouble is used by God to get these children to repent..

It has not yet happened.. so no. No one can.. Many will say it happened back near AD 70, but it does not fit.. Isreal did not repent..

Jer 30: [SUP]7 [/SUP]Alas! For that day is great,
So that none is like it;

And it is the time of Jacob’s trouble,
But he shall be saved out of it. [SUP]8 [/SUP]‘For it shall come to pass in that day,’
Says the Lord of hosts,
That I will break his yoke from your neck,
And will burst your bonds;

Foreigners shall no more enslave them.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]But they shall serve the Lord their God,
And David their king,
Whom I will raise up for them.

1. They are still slaves to Gentiles
2. They are still in sin
3. Their king has risen, but has not yet returned.

Also.

1. That Day is so great that none is like it,, At no time on earth before or after will it be that severe. (see also matt 24 where Jesus talks about great tribulation, and non being like it)

2. He (Jacob) will be protected..

Because HE opened their eyes. This is why they will break out of their yoke of the burden of their guilt and sin

for them THE STRONG MAN has not yet come to take them
out of (the kingdom of) darkness to give them the LIGHT of the knowledge of THE TRUTH so that they may be brought into THE KINGDOM of GOD in THE SON

In which case, correct me if I am wrong, men in this world, who have not been given the revelation of the TRUTH of THE GOSPEL are still bound and are prisons of the wrong king and the wrong kingdom until THE STRONG NAN (who is CHRIST) removes their binds

I want to understand where 2 Thessalonians 2 happens

I do not agree that it has hapoened
I do not agree it is a restraining angel
and I do not agree that Satan is bound

please help me to understand what others are saying that appear to be contradicting scriptures

I believe 2 Thessalonians 2 and the reason why evil will have full force reign is no different from the reason given in Job 1 (for Job, the "hedge" was removed)

and I believe this temporary struggle when evil runs rampant is the time of Jacob's struggles

if it isn't please remind me of scripture that contradicts my understanding
