The are people who desire to play basketball and other activities with the lord. Just because they are things you may not be in to doesn't mean it's not in heaven. Everyone has their own likes, once you get to heaven that doesn't get erased and everyone becomes the same.
The previous order of things passes away and is forgotten; the old has gone.

I do believe there will be animals in the new earth where we will live after the millenium, but I'm not sure Michael Jackson was a christian.
He wasn't a Christian, he was a JW. He was also accused of sexual immorality and paid off at least one accuser.

I posted a similar thread a while ago. I asked if there were video games in heaven and if there where would we even care if there was. Could you see Jesus and I chilling on a couch eating Doritos and drinking mountain dew while playing mario kart? Or does that sound like something he wouldn't do. My question is if you could see anything in heaven what would you want it to be? Oh and if you want to give me "video games are evil" do it on another thread, this is just for fun.
Actually, I think this is a beautiful thread. I contemplate heaven all the time, myself. I think you'll find so many more things high on your list to do than passing time with TVs or phones or tablets. Remember, you'll never get physically tired from doing anything, won't need to chill, sit down, nap or sleep. There is no night. For some reason, I think you'll be able to eat food even though you don't NEED to. I only say this because Jesus loved to eat food in the Bible, and even after He was resurrected He visited His disciples and ate fish with them. No pains to hold you back and age won't hold you back. Something tells me you'll be very busy , and NEVER alone. You'll be working somehow for Jesus, and you'll be very happy to do it. Remember, you'll be able to step upon any planet out there, every star, every sun. In a physical form but without needs of the flesh that we need now, like oxygen . Would you rather play video games or learn about and see, with your own eyes and hear with your own ears, alien life on a different planet? Alien only to us. In heaven it all comes together and makes sense. You will marvel at the very beauty of nature in heaven . Our eyes are not programmed to see even a tree in heaven. The colors to our eyes would blind us. Everything here, as beautiful to us as it might seem , is quite drab to eyes in heaven. We would go deaf to hear angels sing Glory to God from earth...but in heaven Our ears will hear music in ways you can't imagine. All our pets will be as healthy pets to come greet us as we enter. Healthy and sometimes a little too playful. Our pets always knew about Jesus and heaven anyways, but they couldn't speak it because God took their voices to tell us, otherwise people might want to die before their time, and then His purpose, through you, would become altered. So I guess yes, if you WANTED video games, HE would let you. I just can't imagine any entertainment gadgets we use will compete against the constant adventures going on in heaven.

Like I said this is just for fun. Whether or not there actually in heaven I don't know. Like I said we might not even care even if they are there I can imagine being around the Lord is better then anything we can hope for. But just for fun if they are there I'd like to play some unrealised games. Seeing Dinosaurs would be cool too. Although Honestly I probably would be more excited to see the Apostles then dinosaurs. I'd like to meet Solomon too.

but wait!

you could meet the Apostles while riding dinosaurs!

possibilities are endless

I get it's just for fun

Unbelievable. Would the concept of video games in heaven not constitute idols. Nothing that defiles the perfect worship of God will enter into heaven which is in effect Gods presence.

What's next? Brothels and brew pubs in heaven? Reminds me of Islam where seventy virgins are given to defilement by deserving Islamic terrorists.

Well honestly I'd probably wouldn't want to watch tv or use the computer, I'd just want something interactive to do with Jesus. Being a perfect man I can imagine I wouldn't win at anything unless he lets me but as long as were hanging out it doesn't really matter what we do.

No mess until sin entered into the world.

Defilement is defilement no matter what form it takes. God is purity and holiness. Mankind was created then redeemed to worship God not play video games. Nothing can come between our hearts and our God.

I've personally come to see video games and sports as idols, but that's my realization as to how much time I'd been giving to those things in my life, I decided to cut them off completely, however I don't impose that on anybody, I don't know how each person walks with the Lord as they seek to glorify Him with their lives.

Not everyone considers JWs to be Christian...

We will probably all rejoice at there being no denominations there :)
I agree that JW are not christian but if he gave his heart to Jesus it doesn't matter what church he went to.

Anything can become an idol depending how the person treats it. Even pets can be an idol and im sure theres animals in heaven

I for the most part agree but you can pretty much count anything as an idol if you spend more time on it then with the Lord. I'll admit I spend way to much time on video games. I understand that I need to cut back and spend more time with the Lord, Honestly I'm a lot better then I use to be. You wouldn't believe how many hours I've wasted on a video game. It for the most part is a waste of time. However if I'm with the Lord and we are playing a video game for fun and I'm not obsessing over it. I think it would be all right. I could be wrong though.

There is nothing Scriptural about that believe whatever you desire.
"What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived" -- the things God has prepared for those who love him-- so you are just making up stuff to suit yourself. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. That is certainly Scriptural. I am sorry you don't like God's Word.

Some make an idol out of religion... JWs deny Who Jesus is, since they reject His divinity.
