I posted a similar thread a while ago. I asked if there were video games in heaven and if there where would we even care if there was. Could you see Jesus and I chilling on a couch eating Doritos and drinking mountain dew while playing mario kart? Or does that sound like something he wouldn't do. My question is if you could see anything in heaven what would you want it to be? Oh and if you want to give me "video games are evil" do it on another thread, this is just for fun.

No I don't believe there will be video games in heaven, video games are earthly things, which to be honest there are a multitude of better ways someone could spend their times on to glorify the Lord, if that's what you seek in your life.

There are many mansions as the scripture says. As i'm sure the lord knows about peoples love for video games it's possible he could add it to your place. Which would be pretty cool for the lord to stop by to play for a little while. Just dont expect to beat him in any lol.

Anything?

- A trusting predator of some kind (tiger, lion, wolf ...)

-And, if we are given some kind of physical bodies up there, I sure hope we are in good shape to begin with,
it would be fun to suddenly be strong :D :p

I don't think people realize how perfect everything in heaven will be, there will be no need or desire for video games, the best looking video game of all time that hasn't even been made yet won't look a fraction as good as things in heaven, we live in a fallen world, that's why some people like video games so much, it's a way to escape reality, but in heaven people won't need to escape reality, we'll trully have life with the Lord.

I do believe there will be animals in the new earth where we will live after the millenium, but I'm not sure Michael Jackson was a christian.

Good point. ...and I think that is why we struggle to imagine what heaven is like. It is difficult to imagine nothing negative being around.

Heaven will be perfect there's no need for video games, also people need to realize we'll only be in heaven for a short while, then it's off to the new earth and the new jerusalem.

One quote I've heard is we got used to death on this fallen world, in heaven there's no death of any sort, so the scents are different, the sights, things are just alive and there's no sense of death.

it's not about people not realising the amazement in heaven. it's about interacting with the lord how some people may have always wanted to.

Yes, he was. He spoke of God quite often. :) He spoke of how we should love each other and do as Jesus did. Keep in mind that God knows our hearts, and He certainly knows what Michael's heartset was..

But anyhoo, to stay on topic, I want to see ducks in heaven. :) Lots and lots of ducks and an infinite supply of bread.. :)

Well your desires will change once you have left this flesh body and are given a new glorified body for sure, that's if the Lord doesn't change you before.

The are people who desire to play basketball and other activities with the lord. Just because they are things you may not be in to doesn't mean it's not in heaven. Everyone has their own likes, once you get to heaven that doesn't get erased and everyone becomes the same.

Not everyone considers JWs to be Christian...

We will probably all rejoice at there being no denominations there :)

Like I said this is just for fun. Whether or not there actually in heaven I don't know. Like I said we might not even care even if they are there I can imagine being around the Lord is better then anything we can hope for. But just for fun if they are there I'd like to play some unrealised games. Seeing Dinosaurs would be cool too. Although Honestly I probably would be more excited to see the Apostles then dinosaurs. I'd like to meet Solomon too.

See you're talking to someone who used to be fanatatic about basketball and video games, but those desires have left me while I pray that God conforms me to the image of Jesus Christ, I think Jesus himself wouldn't like sports or video games, so I think it's fair enough that I be more like him, at the same time it's a personal thing, I'm not imposing this on anybody.
