The scriptures also say to stone a women for adultery yet what did Jesus say? Let me ask you this, if a women is a pastor of a church and in her ministry has helped to lead many people to Christ and has healed many wounded and broken hearts in her ministry was she ordained by God to be a pastor and to lead his flock or did she disobey what he has declared?
From false teachers? not a lot. Granted I do believe that normally men are to be in the position of leadership as it is a common pattern throughout scripture however I also believe that he will use who he chooses for whatever he needs. God wants to use us to do great and amazing things for his kingdom, he isn't looking for the strong or the weak nor is he looking for man or women he is looking for the willing. Those who are willing will be used regardless of their sex
That isn't what I am saying, I am just saying that there are times when God will use a women to lead his flock. Also a pastor is not one with authority so a women does not have authority over men. A pastor is simply a teacher and speaker to help guide the church but on no account take simply act on their own accord as they see fit as one with authority could. Everyone in the church has a role to play it has nothing to do with authority, Also When paul said these things the times they lived in women were not allowed to do much and womens worth was not equal to a man's and while paul did say these things but he also said this

The word of God is clear that in the church(assembly) God has said that the men are to lead. I am thinking of two very popular women leaders of days gone by. They were extremely popular and many claimed they had a great anointing, both of these women took a position of authority over men. Also, both of these women had affairs with married men and made themselves very rich by their ministries, and both died in very strange and not a good way. If I were female I would not take a position of authority over men in the church for all the gold in South Africa because it is contrary to a clear command of God.
I went to a small meeting years back where the speaker was a woman, Betty Miller by name, her husband was on the stage with her, however she was doing the speaking. Anyway she was calling a few people up for prayer and after a while she asked me if she and her husband could pray for my back. I finally consented and after prayer my back became better(even to this day). I have great respect for the woman and her husband, however I still believe that God has commanded for men to led in the church because it is so clearly written in the word of God. God has exalted His word to an incredible degree, that is what we will be judged by, so it is very important to be in the truth of the word of God.

This scripture is being used out of context all the time. What is Paul telling the Galatians....what's going on that he's correcting. He ends up summing it all up
Galatians 3:22-29
But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed. Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith.
But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.
So the point is that Abrahams true descendants are not those under the law, but those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ by grace through faith. There were those trying to distort the gospel of Jesus Christ and bring the Galatians back under the law.
Paul tells them in the final analysis, that those who are born again of the Spirit are the sons of Abraham where there's no Jew nor Greek to, no slave nor free, no male nor female because in the Spirit we're all one in Christ.
But he's not applying it to the natural man. We still have a man and woman. The wife still bears the child. We still have Jews and Gentiles, slave and free. But in the Spirit, we are all a child of God where there's nor favoritism. The freeman isn't to think he's better than the slave. The Jew is not to think his heritage makes him better than the gentile believer.
In the congregation of believers, this scripture is not nullifying the qualifications for the position of elders. When Paul says men, he means men, not women.

Well I know the same people that promote women's rights promote homosexuality. Is that because it also destabilizes our society and weakens us?
By women's rights I mean the people who take it to extremes of wanting no differentiation between how we treat men and women. Women should be able to drive cars and have protection from spousal abuse, but we have a society where you essentially have to get a 40 hour work week job.
They also encourage women to have multiple partners because "men are allowed to", and it's a very childish mentality. Double standards exist for many things on both ends.
By women's rights I mean the people who take it to extremes of wanting no differentiation between how we treat men and women. Women should be able to drive cars and have protection from spousal abuse, but we have a society where you essentially have to get a 40 hour work week job.

And.. some get all puffed up trying to explain WHY we should disobey God's Word which is right in line with denying the Lord mentioned in 2 Peter 2:1
Getting all bent out of shape over others not agreeing with you exposes your immaturity and insecurity.
Like it or not, we're going to find out in the end that God meant what He said in His Word and inspite of sinful men handling the scriptures over the years, the Lord personally controlled what went in to His canon.
Here's a clue for ya... ain't nobody gives a fat rat's back side if you are fed up or not.
Everyone has a right to their viewpoint even if... gasp... you disagree with them.
At least on this issue you are denying the Word of the Lord which makes you wrong!
