You would think doing good things are evil the way some people talk.

In some theology if you do a good work, but it is not from God it is evil.....

Go figure. God always looks at what people are doing and sees the blessing
or the evil this brings about. And judgement is because of the evil not the
good works, but for some they have created a faith where the good works
are what the day of judgement is about, weird or what!!!!!!

I am in internal conflict over this question.
If faith, believing Christ is a work, then works obtain salvation, establish it.

Now to rebel against God is sin, and to not do a good work we know we should do is
sin, so therefore, if not doing these things causes sin, which leads to loosing our faith,
then works maintain our salvation.

But the language is dangerous because it gets confused with the scales of justice,
balancing evil with good, and get more good you go to heaven, get more bad you go
to hell.

Works are the life blood or expression of the love within us. It is like we cannot but
do these things, they call out to us and push us on.

Works are the things that testify to the reality within, to the love at work in our hearts
that bring glory to the Lords name.

Gods justice.

When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.
Ezek 3:18

We are accountable to the Lord for all we do.

Good works are what we are in the Lord. To rebel against them is to rebel against the
Lords work in our hearts.
Understood bro I know how you feal.. Conflict as you know has been rife over this debate for a long time.. we must examine every word together and leave no stone unturned...

If that mean sorting through every single scripture together then so be it... we will be in conflict together so your not alone..

now where does the good samariton come in the good worker,,,,,,, who in my opinion can become an ever better samaritan by unturning every scripture with colleagues and learning to understand why people believe what they bellieve.

Also learning from it and being equipped to know every single word concerning Good work patience honor obeyment kindness loyality and of coure salvation and what it means to help save a brother from there ability to never understand people perspectives..

We know that Jesus and the father and the holy spirit is performing works inside us daily...

And also we are performing works that the lord reqires from us daily......He expects us brothers to harvest are fruits and become fruitful and plentifull in ever growing genorosity.

Next comes Kindness and tollerance which i know you are truly growing in theese fields...

For me if ye can truly grow in theese works you will sure recieve your total salvation...

Jesus Heals the Man Born Blind
…4While it is daytime, we must do the work of Him who sent Me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” 6When Jesus had said this, He spat on the ground, made some mud, and applied it to the man’s eyes.

God bless you brother and rest assured i will fight for you..:)

Matthew 25:42-46
42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ 44 Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ 45 Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ 46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
feeding and clothing people are works are they not?
It was the attitude towards God's own that was the issue, 'you have done it to the least of these my brethren', rather than general feeding and clothing. In other words, how they reacted to Messiah's own people.

Wouldn't the question be better if you asked what are the works of salvation? It's only the work of Jesus that keeps our salvation....but He did say we would work certain works..

Actually all the work that He says we will do is still His work. Or of His Spirit. It's what He is looking for in His body...

Jesus ask a man to perform a work. and tells him to remain silent..... Now how many would perform this work

The Leper's Prayer

…2Suddenly a leper came and knelt before Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” 3Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing, He said, “be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. 4Then Jesus instructed him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift prescribed by Moses, as a testimony to them.”

It is written that the believer will perform even better works or as good as Jesus himself...

Joh 2:5 His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever He says to you."

You are right blue...they don't save us. Now we have Holy Spirit who speaks and leads us...so do what you hear, and what you see.

Just like Jesus.

It is written God actually delights when he sees you doing well in life.... means he enjoys seeing you do Good works for your self and family..

Nothing he has said so far tells either way...if he added that he believe all was done by God's power would you have any issues with his statements?
Ive just answered this... God delights in seeing you do well.....

The answer is obvious, no. If i see even one yes i need to find a slapping on the forehead face emoji to post lol.
Yes may very well be appropriate, depending on ones point of view.
We don't all think alike or understand what is being said the same way.
A yes simply means an understanding is in order between voters.
