Just before his death, a great man once said, "in a short time I am going to leave this very strange world". This world, this life in this realm, is very strange indeed. Vast numbers of people have been born into this world, live for a varied number of years(usually 100 is the limit), and then pass on into the realm of Hades, where only misery exists. As a Christian I recognize this, however most people who pass through this world do not seem to have a clue, they are all chasing the dream of attainment, writing books, being in government, sports, education, the list is endless. Trying to look the best, make the most money, be the most popular. In our world a very pretty woman is usually an object of attainment , humans are like jungle beasts striving to satisfy their every desire, but with rules and laws, and a pretense of respectability. As a Christian I usually set on the sideline watching all the things of this world progress, terribly frustrated because I know that in most cases I am not able to stop the downward slide that I am witness to. This life is horrible in that aspect, watching people like yourself, live a life that seems so natural to them, yet that comes to an end with the worse possible consequences.
