He is in control of those who submit to His will. The world has its own corrupted will, stemming from the original deception. satan deceived man, because man had the dominion and He wanted it. God is in control ultimately, but the world was turned over to satan, by mankind following His will, UNTIL the appointed time.
romans 8: 20-21 "For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be LIBERATED FROM ITS BONDAGE TO DECAY and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God."
mankind gave satan authority when we followed His will in eden, because He took man captive, and man Had the dominion from the creation in genesis 1. " Gods gifts are irrevocable" the dominion over the earth is mans, its a matter of whether we serve satans will, or the Will of God in Christ Jesus.

He is allowing a certain level of free will to occur and has so since the beginning. All other functions of our universe are going on just fine (sun, moon, stars, tides, wind), it's just our society is controlled by the free will of evil.
He flooded the earth before when he didn't like what free will was doing, that's control. He sent Christ here to improve the quality of our souls. Now he will destroy all the evil and create a new world for us after the abomination of desolation.
What kind of control do you want? God vaporizes men the moment they were about to commit a murder, rape, or corrupt political action? Or do you want him to display his presence and power on a regular basis so we KNOW there is God and are too afraid to sin or stray? Should he reward the Good and punish the bad immediately? Never allow hunger or war to exist?
That kind of world would be nothing like ours. The bad has to exist or "lack of control", for the finer things in life, good, and sacred to exist. I guess you will have a perfect world after the End Times is over, read revelations and put your faith in that world instead of complaining about this one.

God is in control, all through the bible, if you would read you would know that. Satan only have control over influences of those he keep in the dark so that they can't see him working his evil.Jesus destroyed the works of the devil. he can no longer keep all of mankind from coming out of darkness, now that the Holy Spirit is present. the lost are being held captive by the devil.If i was using you and had success doing it, do you think i would tell you that i'm using you? no you would have to find that out for yourself, if you do and when you do, i become your enemy,because you made me look like a fool.
LOL You have not given a scripture verse that says God is in control in the Earth...Yes Gpd is in control in the entire of creation but not in the Earth.. Pretend I'm an atheist or a non believer in Christ..Prove to me that God is in control in the Earth... It's not too difficult a challenge is it? Christians spout it all the time....There must be a verse or two to prove it...LOL Come on kids You can do it...
