I was going through some old private messages and a friend who used to be on here but since has passed away had these words in his signature.

if what the bible says doesnt suit you, just start a thread and soon many will agree,
this helps take the difficulty out of self deception alone
It made me smile and shake my head sadly to see how true it still is.

So this thread is dedicated to him and bits of wisdom God may have taught you via CC or its members.

Maybe you can share something positive or inspiring you have seen or experienced while here?

If you want to gripe, please take it to another thread.

Coffee and cake are always welcomed.

Scriptures, songs, prayers, praises for God are wonderful.

Lol guess.

Folks who knew him, will be able to figure it out.

He used to calm me down and encouraged me to read the Bible, pray and reminded me that God has it under control.

Always offered to feed me milk and cookies when I got upset.

He always was a good listener and he told me things like this:

So it frustruats you to not see their hearts filled with grace. I understand
it will do that. Your not unusual to feel that way. Even i tho if im not using my energy to seek the Lord and ask Him to renew me i will get bored and
miss all the joy and beauty around. About the presumptions people can
have and pin on you im aware of. I think it just helps their conscience.

Oh well not much response here...write more anytime

Abiding RIP... cake and coffee for the CC memorial.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be
no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for
the old order of things has passed away.

He taught me not to take this place too seriously and that breaks and interacting with real life is healthy and needed.

He also reminded me that it was my choice to engage people or to ignore them. If I chose to engage them, then I kind of asked for what I got because didn't past experiences teach me anything?

Sometimes he annoyed me with his practical logic and truth, but I am thankful for it because it helped me grow and be more mature.
