We all have those days when we feel stressed and overwhelmed. Today was like that for we working but things got better when i came on cc. I started sharing verses from my devotional than i started feeling much better. What joy God can bring when we are in his word. He can turn a stressful day into a joyful one.

Psalm 94:19

When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy.

amen to that !! His word is so powerful to meet our spiritual needs, after all His word created the heavens and the earth, and everything in between, it surely can change our days and our hearts with the same creative Power that lies within it !!

I remember back through my life, and always when i would get away from His word, my struggle were so much, my spirit would get low , thank God for His word in which we believe and receive so great a comfort and peace in our hearts. !!

I have joy from the God because I have set the Lord always before me ... KJVPsalm16:8-9 8.I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand,I shall not be moved. 9.Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth; my flesh also shall rest in hope.

It's amazing what God does when we turn our cares over to him and let him have control of it all. That whole Psalm is pretty good! A lot of good things in there. Great topics of discussion. God bless!

Hey, Von......how did you know! :)

I had a bad day too. My friend who's 97 brought me great joy when I visited with her.

At first we were both miserable today, she with pain in her knee and me with pain issues as well.

But whenever we get together we have a great time of fellowship, and we forget about what's ailing us. It's like a shot in the arm full of joy instead of medicine.

And then tonight to come and read this is like icing on the cake! It reminds me that God uses friends, family, fellow believers, an unknown person, whomever to come to our rescue!

The joy of the Lord is my strength!!!

Nehemiah 8:10
Then he said to them, “Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Psalm 28:6,7
Blessed be the Lord,
