why is she used as the inter seed aka intercessor in some Relegions, what bible verses or concepts/theories etc. that support this notion/practice of this in scripture. Does anybody know where in the bible this is being compared too?

i think (?) most people who believe this use the wedding at Cana as their go-to.

but no, it is the Lord Jesus Who stands at the Father's right hand interceding for His people.

for there is one God, and there is one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.

1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Mat 12:46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
Mat 12:47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
Mat 12:48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
Mat 12:49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
Mat 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Luk 11:27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
Luk 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Jesus put Mary on the same level as all the saints,so she cannot be the intercessor for she would not qualify for she is a sinner like all people that need to be saved.

She has no bearing on representing the saints, prospering them, and praying for them.

1 TIMOTHY 2:1 I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men:
1 TIMOTHY 2:2 for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.

The Roman Catholic Church, being as large as it is, pretty much has a monopoly on Mary.
According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, she is our Mother in the order of grace.
She is the church's model of faith and charity.
This Motherhood of Mary in the order of grace continues uninterrupted until the fulfilment of all the elect.
Therefore the blessed virgin is invoked in the church under the titles of advocate, helper, benefactress, and Mediatrix.
Therefore, Mary will continue as the Holy Mother of God, the new Eve, and the Mother of the Church.

This can all be found on pages 274-276 of the Catechism.

The catechism rarely uses Scripture to show what they are saying.
Those things are discussed in Bible studies led by priests or brothers.
It's good to understand Mary in the Catholic Church.
If one wishes to witness to them or debate them, you have to get past Mary first.
And you have to be quite diplomatic about it.

No of course not. This practice is not biblical, but man made from the vanity of the mind. Just because someone or some group starts some ritual or formalism or ceremony and then uses Christ as their head does not at all mean they represent the Lord Jesus Christ, but rather their own interests. As for the true biblical standard, we must learn to not think above (beyond) that which is written, so that we do not at any time begin to exaggerate or over-estimate that which is written.

Look at it as the enemy's way of keeping your mind off of the savior and thinking He just wants to beat you down...When I was a boy I was always taught that God was angry because I sinned, and Mary was the one who stopped Him from splattering me against the wall. The fact of the matter is...Mary needed a savior just as much as you and I

That hellish religion spawned it.
Perhaps all religions have their hellish aspects. Religion that is concocted by man is just an attempt to please God but often greatly misses the mark.

God's idea of religion is simple, anything added beyond that will tend to get twisted and distorted and will not be pleasing to God. That is not to say that we should not go to church as it also states in the bible to not forsake the assembling together of like-minded individuals in the worship of the Lord.

There are flaws, some serious, in all religious denominations that are considered to be Christian. It is best to pray for God's guidance and discernment in all matters, especially in how to best worship the Lord in a way that is pleasing to Him.

James 1:27

Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

Not bad thinking there.

Can we please try to be nice to each other if we all have to go in the same spaceship (the round one called The Earth)?

Now I'm not RC, and have a lot of issues with RC doctrine, but I happen to know that St Barbara is supposed to look after those who work with explosives.

A couple of years ago I was newly qualified and taking responsibility for firing a massive stage pyro effect at the finale of a show for children. I'm looking at a big red button labelled FIRE, and the key to switch the panel on is in my hand.

If I've got this right I could get the show rave reviews. Wrong and I could put the cast in the ER. Cue coming up, key in, selector on, green light on the panel. The firing button is now set live.

At this stage I breathed a very short prayer. Then I realised that I had invoked St Barbara as well.

In moments of stress it's a very easy thing to do.

That's why I'm not critical of people who use intercessors, even though I don't agree with the theology.

I was raised a Romanist...I learned that these saints were responsible for protecting us and the like...But guess what? That's a lie. (another one) that you're told....St Barbara (if there really is one) is human..She has entered into her rest. She has NOTHING to do with Earth anymore. I worked with explosives for years and never saw that girl once...She died before I got there.

In your pyro experience it was not a dead girl that protected you..It was God Himself.

Perhaps she is believed by those that pray to her to be more sympathetic to their needs. Personally, I don't do this as I pray only to God but I can understand why there are those that pray to her even though this is clearly wrong according to scripture. She is probably seen as a warm mother figure who understands them and cares about them. The truth is that God is love and cares for everyone and is the only one worthy of praise and adoration and is the only one that provides blessed assured hope, forgiveness and answered prayer.

i dont think Mary was "just a sinner like all people"
She was... just like everyone else that lived under the Old Covenant that did great feats of faith.

It's wonderful that she accepted God's Word and became Jesus' momma... but none the less, the was a sinner in need of a Savior just like all the rest of us and going forward she has absolutely nothing to do with being a part of God's ministry to man.

Her part was to be a vessel to get Jesus a physical body so He could come here and go to the Cross... her part is done and over with.

This can all be found on pages 274-276 of the Catechism
No difference between that and the satanic bible put out by anton lavey... both are equally false.

The catholik whatever book is probably much more effective at deceiving people in to hell caus it makes people think they are serving the Lord when they aren't...

It's good to understand Mary in the Catholic Church.
It's good to understand why the coyote kept chasing that road runner... understanding either is a waste of time compared to reality.

I happen to know that St Barbara is supposed to look after those who work with explosives.
That ain't nuthin but a demon spirit... did you ask the Lord to forgive you and wash you clean from the sin of calling upon a false god, a devil?

If not, you might wanna get on that... 1 John 1:9 and after that forsake this sin once and for all!
