I cried reading this! What an amazing story. Ed certainly met a vital need.

As for me, anyone wanting to show up and "encourage" my husband to start painting our house interior, I would be eternally grateful! Just joking, I know you all live far from me, in the frozen, 90 F weather here in Canada!
I would pull weeds in your garden, if I lived closer. But painting? Nah! lol

One of the things I was going to do yesterday was water the forsythia to give it a fresh start in its new home. Alas, even though I spent most the day before trying to get out of everyone's way, even that caused extra pain yesterday, so we had to take a day off.

That rain predicted for Sunday? Some came yesterday, but lots is happening now. God was kind enough to water the forsythia for me. (And our garden.)

Hello All! Thank you Lynn and everyone else for your kind words. I hesitated reading and posting on this thread because of the constant danger of being "puffed up" as Paul puts it. (Not looking forward to the Lord adding a thorn in my flesh to reign that in).

Last night I read the OP, and told of the thread, to many of the people who went and attend our men's group. They were very moved by it. Some of them that stayed to the end on Sunday related the awesome powerful, spirit-filled prayers that happened just before they left. All are anxious to continue to serve the Lord, and their brothers and sisters in Christ.

The main reason for posting though, is the sadness, and hostility that seems to come so easily for us here at CC.

We must remember, that behind every avatar, behind every post, IS A REAL LIVE PERSON. We know we would NEVER say some of the things that we say on here to a person's face.

How could I call a sister like Lynn a disparaging name, who I've met, or speak to her out of anything but love?

That's really what we all need to try and do. Imagine that you have met the person, and are talking face to face with them, before we fire away.

Once again, thank you, and thanks for being a part of my life!
