The Scriptures teaches us Messiah will be a Jew, born of the line of Juda and be of the house of David and will bring the whole would to the knowledge of G-d. what other Jew, born of the line of the tribe of Juda, of David has brought the whole world face to face with G-d, weather they reject G-d or not, they must face His existence than Y-shua. Y-shua is the most well-known Jew ever!! He alone brought the knowledge of G-d into all the world. The writers of the New Covenant were Jews who recognized that Messiah had come to atone for the sins of His people. They based their beliefs on the Hebrew Scriptures, and on the Hebrew Scriptures alone. And so, when Y-shua died and rose from the dead in accordance with key prophecies in those very Scriptures, they had all the confirmation they could ever want that he indeed was the promised Messiah. If he had not fulfilled those essential prophecies then they would not have followed him. They recognized him because he did the work Messiah had to do. It was Messiah who suffered and died, and it is by His wounds that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). It was he who was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and it was he who bore our sins (Isaiah 53:7, 12 and Leviticus 16:22). The writer of almost half of the New Covenant Scriptures was himself a Pharisee, born of the tribe of Benjamin. And the Book of Acts records “how many myriads of Jews” there were who believed and were zealous for the Torah (Acts 21:20). It is true that the Messiah’s mission to Israel appeared to have failed, and the Hebrew Scriptures tell us that he even said to the Lord, “I have labored to no purpose; I have spent my strength in vain and for nothing.” But the Lord responded to him: “It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth” (Isa 49:4, 6). Yes, Israel too shall believe, just as the nations of the world have put their trust in the Messiah, the Son of G-d.
You see, G-d had provided one Sacrifice for all, a final Atonement for the sins of mankind. G-d had provided the Lamb. And it was forty years before the Temple was destroyed that Y-shua offered His life. From that day to His, G-d has been saying “No” to His people. “No more of your sacrifices, no more of your prayers, no more of your works. I have provided the Way.”
Yet to all who have ears to hear, G-d has been saying: “Yes, you may come! Yes, you can know Me! Yes, I will cleanse you from all your sin! Believe in the One I have sent. Messiah Y-shua has come.”

I don't recall any scripture saying the Messiah failed, would you give that scripture?

When the book of Isaiah was written the people were copying the pagans in their worship of the true God. The pagans sacrificed to their idols asking for favors. God does not want us to copy any who do not follow scripture. God the Father, God the Son or the Holy Spirit would never ask us to not follow Him. God is saying He is not accepting the way they are copying the pagans.

Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. (Psalm 45:6,7 KJV)

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. (Hebrews 1:8-12).

Here is another "gem" of a scripture that shows Jesus is God. In this scripture it clearly shows God and Jesus as being the same.

Luke 8:39 (NASB)
[SUP]39 [/SUP] "Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you." So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city
what great things Jesus had done for him.

Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to naught: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

(1 Corinthians 2:6-8)

here Christ is spoken of, named by the title "
Lord of Glory"

where does this title come from?

why, from the scripture's book of hymns --

Who is the King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
The LORD mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O gates,
And lift them up, O ancient doors,
That the King of glory may come in!
Who is this King of glory?
The LORD of Hosts,
He is the King of glory.

- Selah -
(Psalm 24:8-10)

that's YHWH, YHWH of Hosts, who is this King of Glory!

be lifted up! O Ancient Gate!

this is not so much a 'proof' as something that i hope will give us pause to think. it is an example, as we've seen in other places, of things attributed only to God being attributed also to Christ.

[HR][/HR]
from the Talmud, in Pirkei Avot:

Rabbi Hanina ben Tardion says: If two sit together and the words between them are not of the Torah, then that is a session of scorners, as it is said, Nor hath sat in the seat of the scornful. But if two sit together and the words between them are of Torah, then the Shekhinah is in their midst, as it is said, Then they that feared the Lord spoke on with another; and the Lord hearkened, and heard and a book of remembrance was written before him, for them that fear the Lord and that thought upon his name (Mal 3,16).

the rabbi quoted here lived towards the close of the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] century. i don't have any idea how old the concept he is expressing is, but i know it sure reminds me of something Jesus says:

[HR][/HR]
For where two or three are gathered together in my name,
there am I in the midst of them.

Now THE LORD saw,
And it was displeasing in His sight that there was no justice.
And He saw that there was no man,
And was astonished that there was no one to intercede;
Then His own arm brought salvation to Him,
And His righteousness upheld Him.
He put on righteousness like a breastplate,
And a helmet of salvation on His head;
And He put on garments of vengeance for clothing
And wrapped Himself with zeal as a mantle.
According to their deeds, so He will repay,
Wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies;
To the coastlands He will make recompense.

(Isaiah 59:16-18)

we read here that Jah Himself was astonished that there was no one to intercede,
so He Himself did something about it, with His own arm.
i.e. -- He became someone to intercede.
His own righteousness upheld Him, and He wore it like a breastplate, and salvation like a helm, wrapped in zeal as a mantle.

does that remind you of anyone?
an eternal Intercessor, maybe?

Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
(Hebrews 7:25)

someone who is upheld by His own righteousness? whose righteousness is as a breastplate?
of course you recognize the connection here to Ephesians 6, the armor of God - and who is that armor? isn't every piece of that an expression of One Person? the same Person who '
has become our righteousness' and in whom the righteousness of God is revealed?

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
(2 Corinthians 5:21)

who delivers salvation? whose name is Salvation? you know Him - who is it who wears zeal like a mantle? remember?

His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will consume me.
(John 2:17)

Who will appear wearing "
garments of vengeance" to judge and to deliver?

And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
(Revelation 19:11-13)

His name is called "
The Word Of God" - and He has a name which no one knows but Himself: and He is and does the very things that Isaiah tells us he sees YHWH become and do, things that Jah found that no one is, and no one does.

He has a name which no one knows but Himself

let that sink in.

He, the Word of God, has a name written that no one knows except Himself.
((Revelation 19:12))

no one knows but Himself.

YHWH is omniscient, right?
God the Father knows all things, right?
there is nothing hidden from the Almighty, right?

but there is only one, He Himself, who knows this name.

I will recount the steadfast love of the LORD,
the praises of the LORD
,
according to all that the LORD has granted us,
and the great goodness to the house of Israel
that He has granted them according to His compassion,
according to the abundance of his steadfast love.
For He said, “Surely they are my people,
children who will not deal falsely.”
And He became their Savior.

(Isaiah 63:7-8)

here it's plainly written that the LORD, the Almighty Jah, became the Savior of men.

Who is called the Saviour but the Messiah?

She will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus,
for He will save his people from their sins.

(Matthew 1:21)

These words are faithful and true; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place.

(Revelation 22:6)

I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches.
(Revelation 22:16)

who sent the angel to testify to John about the things to come?

in Revelation 22:6 that angel who was sent ((see Rev. 22:1)) says it is the LORD GOD who sent.
just 10 verses later, JESUS OF NAZARETH says it is He Himself who sent.

I am telling you now before it happens,
so that when it comes to pass,
you will believe that I AM

(John 13:19)

Remember the former things long past,
For I am God, and there is no other;
God, and there is no one like Me,
Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things which have not been done,
Saying, ‘My purpose will be established,
And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’

(Isaiah 46:9-10)

Behold!
I have told you before.

John 21:17
The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.

Matthew 24:36
But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Is scripture broken?

No?

Then Christ Jesus is God :)

The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
(Isaiah 60:19)

And the city has no need for sun or moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its lamp.
(Revelation 21:23)

Isaiah says YHVH will be the light of the heavenly city.
John says the Lamb is the the light of the heavenly city.

YHVH = the Lamb

The Trinity is a man made and a man inspired way of thinking.
I follow the words of Jesus and let him be the example of how I should live my like and how I should worship God.
Jesus did not follow three Gods so neither will I.

Matthew 4:10
Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”

In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
5 ¶ Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. (Isaiah 6:1-5)

In John we read:

37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

This might be a repeat but it is worth repeating.
