Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Mark 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father until His enemies become His footstool at His second coming as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Matthew 22:44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Right now, Jesus acts as our mediator between God and man. 1 Timothy 2:5

I believe Jesus is God. The Holy Trinity is difficult to understand. One day, we will all understand these mysteries.

What's one thing that a king has that a commoner hasn't? Authority.

I don't think it's necessarily incorrect to refer to Jesus as "King". An analogy I can think of is from the Book of Daniel, where Darius the Mede is called a king. But he was only the ruler of the province of Babylon after Persia conquered it. As far as I know, Darius was under Cyrus the Great, who was the Persian emperor at the time.

In the same way, although Christ is at His Father's right hand, He could still be called a King. :)

Jesus in king over all kings
Revelation 17:14
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

John 19:19-22
Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It read, “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.” 20Many of the Jews read this inscription, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and it was written in Aramaic, in Latin, and in Greek. 21So the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, “Do not write, ‘The King of the Jews,’ but rather, ‘This man said, I am King of the Jews.’” 22Pilate answered, “What I have written I have written.”

All judgement has been given to Him, right? So He's sitting on the throne...I would say that too makes Him King.

Pilate thought he was King.....even had it written and placed above his cross..........and did not the old man cry...Jesus thou son of David.....and the thief...remember me when you come into your kingdom.....and....and...and......

All authority has been given unto Him, but it's not His time to use that authority.

Trust me, when Jesus is King He will be ruling with a rod of iron. The world will not be in chaos as it is now.

All future prophecy concerning His second coming as King. Right now, He is seated at the right hand of the Father who is on the throne.

Who's on the throne holding a book? God the Father. Who takes the book from the Father? The Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus is king of the Kingdom of God, and that is where we are supposed to reside right now. We aren't supposed to be of the world.
