I prefer to stick with Scripture. Let's allow Scripture to interpret itself.
Yeah I posted it for you but you don't seem to make the connection....

Let me try it again....

Matthew 28

16Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inb the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Mark 16

14Afterward he appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen. 15And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

19So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. 20And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.]]

What do you see similar and different about these two passages of scripture?

Try this one....

Psalm 110 ►
English Standard Version

1The LORD says to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand,
until I make your enemies your footstool.”

2The LORD sends forth from Zion
your mighty scepter.
Rule in the midst of your enemies!

3Your people will offer themselves freely
on the day of your power,a
in holy garments;b
from the womb of the morning,
the dew of your youth will be yours.c
4The LORD has sworn
and will not change his mind,
“You are a priest forever
after the order of Melchizedek.”

5The Lord is at your right hand;
he will shatter kings on the day of his wrath.
6He will execute judgment among the nations,
filling them with corpses;
he will shatter chiefsd
over the wide earth.
7He will drink from the brook by the way;
therefore he will lift up his head.

Then, by definition, all that you have "spoken" here is unwholesome because it DOES NOT EDIFY THE BODY OF CHRIS, BUT RIDICULES AND DISRESPECTS JESUS IN ITS ENTIRETY AND IS CORRUPT AND HAS NO VALUE IN IT WHATSOEVER. Thank you for proving your own point. Your constant rejection of the truth IN EVERY WAY that has graciously been explained to you USING the word of God has shown"ridicule and blatant disrespect" for the inerrant Word of God and to Jesus Christ himself. And as usual, I see you only answered the "particle" of a question asked of you and completely ignored, disregarded, skirted or denied the rest. Yes, by definition, you have described YOUR OWN unwholesome speech by the last 2 sentences of your reply.
I would have answered your question about being offensive to Jesus IF I had been offensive to Jesus. . . I have not been speaking to Jesus but to people. I have not torn down any member in the body of Christ - just having a discussion in a discussion forum. I have rejected what you believe to be truth just as you have rejected what I believe is truth. Just as what you say you believe has value - I believe that what I say has value. There is common courtesy that should be given to everyone regardless if they do not see eye to eye with you.

"The above is all scripture and I think what we see depends upon how we read it . . . This is probably one of those things we will find out when Jesus returns to gather his redeemed, his purchased possessions." . . These two sentences describe my unwholesome speech?

May I ask you . . . what does "But now" and "not yet" mean to you in this verse?
Hebrews 2:8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not yet under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. KJV
Hebrews 2:8 . . . putting everything in subjection under his feet. Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. ESV

These are not the sentences to which I was referring in the post. I suggest you go and read the post to which I was referring. And as far as your questions of me... "quid pro quo"... I'm still waiting for you to answer mine. There are many, but I'd settle for the one in the last post to which this defers.

It says everything is placed under Jesus control but WE DO NOT SEE the full extent of JESUS kingdom yet.

The lack is not in Jesus control but our sight.

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

These are the two to which I referred... sigh* How is Denying Jesus Christ as PRESENT King, edifying the body? How does it benefit those or build up those who listen?~

We do not see all things subject to him yet. My granddaughter can ask me for a cookie. I tell her not yet. She has the cookie, it's just not in her possession yet.

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills and all the nations shall flow to it, and many peoples shall come, and say: Come, let us go to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.: For out of Zion shall go the law and the word of the LORD form Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations and shall decice disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. . . . peace on earth, no more wars
Isaiah 2:1-4

There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit. And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of sounsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. And his delight shall be in the fear of the LORD. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear, but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins. The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead the. The cow and the bear shall graze; their young shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den. They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 11:1-9 . . . no injustice, no danger from wild animals, people and animals living harmoniously in peace . . . Obviously, that world is in stark contrast to ours today.

Now the above is what it will be like when Jesus rules as King. I don't see that yet because Jesus is not ruling yet. Jesus is Lord and he is the "head of the body" of Christ.

I believe those passage describe this:
Revelation 21 ►
English Standard Version

1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling placea of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people,b and God himself will be with them as their God.c 4He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

However that doesn't exclude the fact Jesus is currently King.

There are two kingdoms prophesied in the OT - the Millennial Kingdom and the Everlasting Kingdom. I believe that the verses I used pertain to the Millennial Kingdom, the 1,000 year reign of Christ where in Christ rules with a rod of iron. After the 1,000 year reign, the devil is loosed and gathers his army to fight against God's people . . the devil is destroyed by fire from heaven . . final judgement and the Everlasting Kingdom. What you have posted refers to the Everlasting Kingdom. In the Millennial Kingdom there is still death . . . Isaiah 65:19 I will rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in my people; nor more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping and the cry of distress. 20) No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill our his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed . . 25) The wolf and the lamb shall graze together; the lion shall eat straw like the ox, and dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain.
See in this description there is death . . but in the Everlasting kingdom there is no more death, for death will be destroyed. The world would be a much better place to live in if Christ were ruling now.

Thank you Ariel for your input, I really appreciate it. We just don't see eye to eye on this particular subject. I still consider you my sister in Christ and hope that you feel the same. PB

I believe our eschatological beliefs but am not dogmatic about it. I also consider you a sister and enjoy the peaceful conversation,

.in truth I believe God will reveal what the prophecies mean In His time, but we should always be ready for Jesus to return at any moment.

Isaiah 65

17“For behold, I create new heavens
and a new earth,
and the former things shall not be remembered
or come into mind.

18But be glad and rejoice forever
in that which I create;
for behold, I create Jerusalem to be a joy,
and her people to be a gladness.
19I will rejoice in Jerusalem
and be glad in my people;
no more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping
and the cry of distress.

Daniel stated this to King Nebachudnezzar “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever."[Daniel 2:44] Those four kingdoms are believed to be Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. By the time the Christ came, three of the kingdoms had already occurred. They were in the midst of the fourth kingdom, and as Daniel prophesied, it would be in the midst of the fourth kingdom(Rome), this kingdom, the Christ's, would be set up.
