This is a reference to the Millennium,
Wake up my friend: the language is clear as a bell, it is saying He is now reigning. Your assault on the Lordship and present reign of Christ is unbelievable.

This isn't true.

Nor is this...

True apologies never use "if I ever." It is merely saying "I have nothing to apologize for."
Even though John146 can get rousing mainly when talking about non-KJV Bibles, I must admit he very rarely attacks persons and seems to be careful about it.

Okay - please just show me an example from the NT that Satan ask permission from God to do something?

The first two chapters of Job are set as an allegory; (a story in which the characters and events are symbols that stand for truths about human life) - To teach that the righteous suffer along with the unrighteous, i.e. if you suffer it is not because you are unrighteous, as Job's miserable comforters were telling him -
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.. (Matt. 5:45)

Thank you for your advice . . . .
And...Satan took the Lord upon the high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of this world and offered to give them to Him if He would bow down to him. The Lord didn't call him a liar, He just simple quoted Scripture.

Right now, our battle is spiritual not physical. This world is not our home. This world right now belongs to the dark forces of Satan. There is coming a day when this physical world will be ruled by the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of kings. He will sit on a physical throne, ruling and reigning for a thousand years. After that, He will defeat Satan and death once and for all. A new heaven and new earth will be given, an everlasting kingdom.

I really do try not to attack. I simply enjoy discussion biblical doctrines with fellow brothers in Christ.

That's good, yet rarely isn't never as he is claiming.

Begs the question from these that deny Christ as King; Is He Lord?
He is Lord for God made him Lord . . . Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ. (Acts 2:36)

that you keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, [SUP]15 [/SUP]which He will bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, . . at the time appointed for the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ - He will be King of kings and Lord of lords . . .

14) that you keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15) which He will bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16) who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

NOTE: Until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ . . . WHICH HE WILL BRING ABOUT AT THE PROPER TIME

There are only two other verses referring Jesus to "King of Kings" and those are in Revelation 17:14 and Revelation 19:16 . . . both are when he is at war with evil . . These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords and King of kings: . . And he has on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords . . .
*Sigh*

Jesus is who He is regardless of the time He does anything.

Jesus is King..... that means He can choose when He wants to do something.

I have never been disrespectful in my comments. I never name call or belittle and I apologize if I ever come across that way.
No one including me has belittled you nor been disrespectful to you here.

I have stated that you know what Scriptures say, but not what they mean. This is true and descriptive.

Perhaps you are just very easily offended, not sure, that being said you need to humble yourself and accept the correction given you by several on this forum. You reject all biblical evidence that shows your errors. Humble yourself my friend, you are in grave error on several teachings. I'm not saying this to disrespect you or belittle you, you would only see it as belittling because you think highly of yourself. Think that through.

Where is it stated that Satan is on a leash? Satan and death play a part in the world until they are thrown into the lake of fire.

2 Thessalonians 2
1Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, 2that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. 5Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things?6And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. 7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 8Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 9that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 12in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

Satan can do nothing except during appointed times.

it is interesting to see and read what others believe in their hearts -
even if it isn't the right thing as yet, sharing our thoughts and beliefs with others
can and will always open new doors to the Truths of God, one way or another...
if we Love Him, He will see to that...

Job has always been literal.
Just because a figure of speech is used does not make something untrue.said.

Figures of speech give special emphasis; call attention to the point; adds force or power to an expression. Which sentence is more memorable? It is a hot day. It is so hot outside we could fry an egg. The ground is dry. The ground is thirsty.

Figures of speech are universal to human communication. Every language, including the biblical languages, has them.

God used figures of speech to call attention to a point in the scriptures.

So you are going to totally disregard what the verse is saying? . . . okay then.

No figures of speech is used in Job. It is a literal narrative of who he is & what happened to him.

No eisegesis allowed.

So you are saying this is Satan?

What is this verse talking about - let no man deceive as to "the day of Christ is at hand". Then Paul lets them know when the day of Christ will come . . . the holy Spirit is keeping the "man of lawlessness, the son of destruction" from coming but when the holy Spirit is taken out of the way then the Wicked one - "the man of lawlessness, the son of destruction" will be revealed.

Maybe I should suggest 2 Timothy 2:15 to you? Again figures of speech do not make anything LESS real. They help understand and make clear lessons that are being taught throughout the word of God - They do not CHANGE something into a LIE but enhance what is being taught.

You want to believe that this portion of scripture is teaching that Satan has to ask permission to do something to people . . hey, that's okay.
