Revelation 12:5 KJV
And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

I think she's heavenly Jerusalem, the mother of us all.... who do you think she is and why?

I thought she was a metaphor for Israel.
The "why" seems obvious.
Which Israel though, the flesh descendants of Israel or the spiritual descendants of Israel? Spiritual descendants being those that are the seed of Abraham... those who believed God and it was counted to them as righteousness.

According Genesis 37:9-10, the woman of Rev.12:6,1 is the nation Israel, for the sun represents Jacob, the moon his wife/wives and the stars represent the twelve sons of Jacob.

The woman is not representing the church. For after that abomination is set up, literal Israel will make Jerusalem desolate by fleeing out into that place in the wilderness prepared for her by God. The referent to the abomination being set up in the temple and the fleeing out into the mountains of Judea demonstrate that it is the nation Israel that is in view here and not the church.

The Sun is also Christ and we are clothed with His righteousness. Also if the woman is Israel and the moon is Israel too, then how does Israel have Israel under her feet?

Revelation 12:1 KJV
And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

Then Israel rules with Jesus? I thought it was the body of Christ. The overcomers.

Flesh descendants don't, but the spiritual descendants do... anyone who is a part of the 1st resurrection will be priests and reign with him 1000 years.

Revelation 20:6 KJV
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

I will give Paul's answer since its not considered cheating in an exam:
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

My answer is the church and is included in Paul's description of the Mystery of God
"But in the voice of the seventh angel when He shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished as He has declared to His servants the prophets." Keeping in mind that we are part of the mystery of God, seeing a glimpse, acknowledging we don't know as we should, we keep learning and if we think we know we stop learning.

I like your answer! :) What do you mean by "we are part of the mystery of God"?

I think she is the church...The man child is the One New Man that comes out of the church. The One New mankind. is the bride.

I believe the man child was Jesus because he was caugh up or ascended into heaven to sit at his right hand.

By my understanding most of Revelation is future tense...But Jesus being caught up to sit at the Fathers right hand is past tense?

You could be right and I've heard it taught that the man child is the body of Christ but I think it's Jesus because the rod of iron seems to be related to Jesus every time it's mentioned in the bible.

Revelation 19:15 KJV
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

No one can put a finger on the true church because it doesn't exist in the sense that it can be seen. Some of us are in Baptist churches, some in Lutheran, some in non-denominational and some who don't attend any corporate church... There is no visible real church, it's hidden in the wilderness I guess you could say lol.

That's a very good way to put it. All of the corporate churches teach that the entire body is the bride but most of the body is not looking for Him and they are not making themselves ready. So yes. The bride is hidden today but will come out of the corporate churches of all denominations. And just to cause a clamor..That includes the Romanist church
